This map looks really, really nice. I love the switch from park to some industrial building.
But the map just feels like a modernized single-stage Dustbowl.

The game is dead already, they needed to pump out maps, weapons, cosmetics or provide map tools and they failed to do either

if a tank can snipe from one side of the map to the other, your map probably sucks

This map isn't really that bad, there's open space but all the objectives have lots of buildings and bits of cover around them so the transition from long-range to close quarters fighting is kind of fun. Plus there's the sandstorm that kicks up and gives you time to run around and fuck up snipers.

I worked on this map with props, the maker of the map wouldn't accept criticism of it because he'd say like the workshop talking about game design we don't know what we're talking about.

I never got the appeal of doublecross, the walk to the intel is too short and the spawn room is too easily accessible.

people give a shit about the intel on ctf maps where you live?

They do on maps that aren't 2fort.

I used harvest to grind my mmr up really high
and then the system started to expect me to carry against a six stacked team and so I used korh maps to lower my mmr

Who made this map, by the way? It seems a bit too basic layout-wise to be Dario Casali's or Iikka Keränen's.

Process is a good map, but in casual it attracts sweaty second string 6s players.

Yeah. I rarely every queue for 5cp, actually.
The matches are always just one big 3 hour stalemates or one huge steamroll.
On top of that, if you're just playing to dick around, there's always going to be a six stack of 6s players destroying your team.

Nowadays I mostly play highlander lobbies cause people are actually trying and it's fun.

Honestly, most of the maps in Phantom Forces are pure garbage. Most of them are just lazy BF4 copies and if they're not then they're just unfun spawncamp-fests like Suburbia, Warehouse, and Ruins. Still one of the best and most fun F2P FPS games of all time, though.

It was valves final map for their final update. They used all their knowledge they got and applied it.
They didn't even try with barnblitz, they went straight backwards.

Imagine making a koth map thats uneven. One side gets a building to snipe out of and an arch to protect view to spawn. The other side gets a small thing on the side and a flat area with almost nothing blocking the view to spawn.

asymmetric maps are weird.
I remember seeing one for CTF, but it didn't seem too unbalanaced.
