Just about everyone ran HoK in any game mode when using heroes. This change is great since now new players don't have to grind just to get that specific card, no more situational HoK for some characters holding them back, and more choice in loadout with the 3rd slot opened up. It's an overwhelmingly good change and more faithful to the original Battlefront as well.

The Clone Wars series did remain their mainstay in regards to TV presence and was received better among fans than the early seasons of Rebels. I have no idea how well received the newest, Sequel Trilogy series is doing since I believe it was intended for a much younger audience.

Luckily the final season is coming out half a year (?) after the Rise of Skywalker, so I don't see any risk of the corporate "Lets make sure it's not to good, so it doesn't make our main title look like the pile of crap it is" stuff going on behind the scenes.

Maybe it was just me but I didn't notice any indication that my shots were actually doing damage and the health bar barely moves on it unless you've got a bunch of people shooting at.

I'd be fine with OR stuff lifted from the KOTOR games and the mmo. As long as someone competent heads that writing team, it'd be hard to do wrong. I don't like the new Trilogy because it's just a worse original Star wars, and the original Star wars era was fun for the trilogy but there isn't much else going on; I enjoy TCW because it expands on the smaller stuff, you got a lot of crime stuff involving lower city coruscant which is cool.
All they need is someone competent; whoever wrote some of the mmo stories would be great. The Blur cinematics are great shit too.

Every game I've been in, heroes still aren't a monster or anything - if you coordinate a small bit you can hear a cocky one up, and if you're any good you can fight off a good one. They rely on zerg rushing and shock, a single heavy can destroy a hero who's facing the wrong way for even a second.

He was going to show up in Ghosts of Mortis with Darth BANE, but Filoni and George thought it didn't fit, and also Revan was never intended to be a fully evil sith lord so it seemed out of place. Darth Bane got brought back with an arguably better design as an "illusion" inside his own tomb, but Revan never got to return. Honestly if Filoni knew, I bet he would have found a way to bring him in, since he's been pushing KOTOR stuff as much as he can. The super-weapon planet from KOTOR 2 is in Rebels, there's been references to the Mandalorian & Jedi wars, and there's been references to Mandalorian Crusaders in some of the recent movies. I don't know if he wants it brought back right now though, since Filoni is arguably one of the only smart people at Lucasfilm right now and he knows a lot of the people who'd write what happens in that period are complete hacks, but it's happening anyways.

The gameplay itself wasn't the issue - the issue was gouging the playerbase for every single inch. They reneged on that. No one's forgetting what they did but what they're doing now is great - look at what you can get for just 5 dollars, the price of an indie title.

What heroes will even be added for the last Jedi content? The only ones I can think of are darth rey and zori bliss.

They reneged on that over a year and a half ago, but that didnt stop people from going apeshit at the mere mention of the game. And the game still has just as much grinding as the original system if not more, considering you have dozens of different classes/vehicles/heroes/ships/reinforcements you have to level up linearly, instead of being able to get a blue/purple without even playing the class.

Depending on what the Sith Troopers are, they'll be the enforcer / infiltrator but maybe they'll just be a skin. As cool as they look, they sound retarded in concept.

bought it on release for PC and got it for free for weebstation. I enjoyed it on PC for the most part, but the number of cheaters became unbearable. Like every game, chat was spammed with nothing but trump/niggers, and PS4 is far more chill, so everyone isnt flick shooting with sniper rifles the moment your head pixel pops out.
If none of that bothers you, youll enjoy PC version.

What? no the core problems are still there, the cards mechanics, the heroes cross here, the most boring fps I ever saw, grenades and second weapons are skill instead of you know grenades that you can refill or weapon you can change in any moment, heal regeneration, maps too big for too low soldiers, can't even spawn in your fucking spawns or mount vehicles because these only exist if you waste points to appears as one, the loot box were the less of his problems
