Batman for the Gameboy. Not the NES; that's nostalgic too, but it's low-hanging fruit, everyone talks about that one. The Gameboy one reminds me of family vacations and long car rides. It's Sunsoft like the NES one, and the music is similarly good, even with the limitations of the GB's sound.

Play Sonic 2 for 5 mins as a toddler. Beat Sonic Heroes a couple years later. Think that Sonic is cool and want to play all of his games. Mom buys Sonic Mega Collection Plus. Turn on game and suddenly feel wave of nostalgia for games I've never played.
