I tried too, in this game only Yusuke [range] and Kuwabara [defense] matters at the end since they fight the glitched Toguro with massive health, Kurama is the best at close range but the crappy defense made worse than Kuwa, and Hiei is the worst since his a ability useful for progressing but not for combat also the game doesn't even reach the DT arc.

Fun platformer/beat-em-up with a neat little 2d fightan mode that has parries.

Advanced adventure is so close to perfection. All It needed to do was have 1 more 1v1 fight with adult Goku vs piccolo Jr. Either after or during the credits.
Answering the question though, I saw pic related on a Toonami review by chance and found it was made by Treasure. Was a fun beat em up shmup romp, burnt myself out on it trying to get the true ending which required multiple play throughs with slight variations to the route you took.
