Ellie is, as always, best girl.

Unironically I like the new characters designs best, but I'm pretty sure it's due to not being a fan of the changes + new style for the returning characters compared to their original art (even though it's the same artist from then). Out of the original characters though I like Ann and Mary's designs best. I'm mostly meh on the guys redesigns and while Elli and Popuri's designs are acceptable I'm not really a fan of the floatiness of their expression. Karen's is still the worst redesign among them.

As an Elli connoisseur, I have to inform you that you're dead wrong. Her dress isn't supposed to be so decorative The skirt is rather plain, along with a simple top that cinches around her wrists. It's the apron that's supposed to be frilly. With a bow to compliment. It's supposed to be a simple elegance, that comes from sewing your own dresses, and having a limited sense of style. Uniform, but practically so.

Just what the fuck is with her new design? Her dress is decked out in frills. Her apron strings form angel wings now? Yuck, those ornate gloves. What are they even for? And then the blue cross to play into the nurse role, because of course she has to signal that she's a nurse at all times. And her hair is too long and too uniform. She doesn't pull one side back to expose her ear. It wasn't supposed to be a bob cut. But parted on the side, and a bit messy, like she doesn't really know how to style it.
