Is pic related worth 70 USD if I don't want to use (and unintentionally destroy) the joycons?

It's the greatest gamepad I've ever used. The dpad is the one and only flaw but there's no 1st party controller that isn't the case for at the moment

I like it alot, its become my go to PC gamepad
you can also use the cable it comes with to hack your switch

It's my favorite controller desu. It is overpriced, but it's super comfortable

Comfy as fuck, all the buttons feel good and the joysticks work just as well as they did the day I bought it.
The d-pad is actual cancer though, I do not recommend even touching it.

It feels very comfy in my hands, it's pretty much all I use on switch now

lol knockoff xbox pad, including the shitty dpad, and charge $30 more dollars for it

nintentards gonna nintentard

I know $70 is damn steep... but I can say it's a really good controller with a looong battery life.

It's worth it for the HD rumble.

>Switch Pro
>looong battery life
You are like a little baby, watch this

Attached: the only thing better about the switch pro is that it isn't glossy.jpg (466x340, 16K)

I use mine for ever game except Tetris 99. Good battery life, feels like I can go a day or two without charging the thing.

I got one and mostly use it for PC, but I'll use it for my Switch too if I'm playing anything with fast button mashing since the handheld mode is shit for button mashing due to the joycons have a slight give when connected to the system. Completely fucks my timing sometimes in Taiko on higher difficulties.

Look for a sale, it goes on sale all the time.

>get $20 mayflash adapter
>continue using this GOAT

Plus 8Bitdos for player 3 and 4. Fuck all these expensive ass controllers nowadays

Yes. Unironically the best controller I've ever owned. Feels solid, perfect ergonomics, nice big buttons for my fatass thumbs. Holding a 360 controller after feels like shit

javascript:;
the dpad is pretty bad but overall its better than the joycons.
bought this day one around the switch launch and havent touched the joycons since then.

8bitdo pro+ is also a good alternative if you dont mind the thumbstick placement.
theres some minor issues like not being able to use the controller to turn on the switch but that doesnt bug me

>unable to turn on the console

Why do people say this? You just hold the home button you stupid niggers

I have two, one of them developed drift issues within a few months but the other is fine. Just a heads up.

probably, it's a good controller and you can use it on pc

D-pad is garbage but that's standard for Nintendo console controllers post-SNES, otherwise it's pretty good. Shit is not not worth $70 in any reality though.

No, it just feels like a crappy 3rd party xbox controller

70 bucks for a controller with a lackluster dpad? It's your money man... personally I'd go with the wii u pro + Magic NS

Now this is the GOAT.

I don't play my switch lately but the Pro controller is my favorite controller. Comfier than a ds4, and the battery life can last for days.
Check Amazon though. They have pretty regular sales on controllers. I got my switch pro controller for like $57
