Oof
Meanwhile I'm over here running this game at 1440p50-60 on medium-high settings on an R9 Fury
1440p30 on XboneX

I take that back, it's more like 900p10-30 on PS4 and 720p15-30 on Xbone.
>1080p20-30 on PS4 Pro
what a joke lmao
>He bought Control
>bought
>It's ANOTHER console war thread
*yawn*
I own both and play on both, and I’m honestly annoyed by how bad it runs on the consoles according to DF youtu.be
I’ll wait for a week (I’m playing something else atm), and if they don’t fix that, I’ll pirate it on PC.
>Oof
I could not care less. You do you.
>Even considering playing a multiplat on consoles
What year is it?
>Sub 60 ever being desirable
this that new half life everyone's clamoring about?
looks shit and dated
>on medium-high settings
Are you trying to make some kind of point?
Well, I’m going to have it for free on the PS4 because of my friend, so that’s why I am considering that.
Medium-high in this game is high-max, since the only option with a setting higher than high is textures, which is easy to max out anyways.
>r9 fury
God why do people still buy high tpu components. The thing probably does 100c at load and is loud as fuck. The new zen chips are decent with 65w tdp but fuck me spending $340 on a cpu? Then you need an am4+ board and probably ddr5 ram, for what? %30 better speeds over an Intel chip? Fuck that dude. Intel/Nvidia is the new price point for pcs. You can get a really nice cpu/gpu/mobo on slightly older architecture that's quieter, cooler and less expensive.
consoles run everything at low-med settings, often with interlaced / checkerboard rendering, rather than at real deal progressive resolution. And still they struggle to get even 30fps.
I got it for $260 in 2016.
Plus I have an 800W PSU anyways.
Considering its age, it still does fairly well, it's basically an RX 590 equivalent.
>build PC 5 years ago
>admittedly over pay for some meme gamer components because uneducated consolefag with his first big paycheck
>fast forward to today and only upgrades over the years is a bit more ram for cheap, a cheap ebay processor upgrade for extra threads and a new more silent case
>also got a free GPU upgrade after my old one crapped out
>runs this game maxed out 60 fps and really fast loading times (like 10 seconds)
>meanwhile this $400 "new" console can't even maintain 30 fps at 1080p
i won't have to upgrade this PC for a few years yet if i stay at 1080p 144hz whereas these consoles like the ps4 pro which are only a few years old are already equivalent to the worst pc's you can buy for like $200 with used parts. utterly embarrassing.
Lumping PS4 pro and the bonex in the same category is disingenuous desu.
They never learn, quantum break was also 720p game at """"30"""" fps, was Alan Wake ever that bad on the 360?
Console optimization is the biggest meme perpetuated by consolefags. They like to ignore that the majority of games are 30FPS capped and riddled with post processing effects to blur the fuck out of a game.
I remember playing Alan Wake on my PC around the time it came out there, and it ran really well on my pretty old for the time setup. QB was okay for me too 2bh.
Last year I was playing NieR on PC and thinking about my frames dropping just a little bit a few times because the port is very bad. I was also thinking that it ran at perfect 60 on the PS4, and guess what, it’s not even 60 on the pro half the time
Meanwhile you're a faggot bragging about your PC specs
This game drops to 15 on the pro lmao
Kek, my specs aren't even worth bragging about.
Maybe if it was early 2016.
>900p15-30 on PS4
How? Arent all games on PS4 1080p? Are the devs of this just that bad?
>Are the devs of this just that bad?
Go kill yourself braindead pajeet. I have no clue if the resolution is that low on a base PS4 but if it is its because remedy gave you the crysis of 2019 instead of some console port shit with textures and foliage that look epic on screenshots
>Arent all games on PS4 1080p?
No?
A significant amount are sub-1080p, and many use dynamic resolution scaling.
Jesus Christ, did you fucking work on the game or something? Calm the fuck down.
>remedy gave you the crysis of 2019 instead of some console port shit with textures and foliage that look epic on screenshots
Lol ,thats xbox one
yes, you are completely brainless and know absolutely nothing about whats considered impressive if youve ever booted up Control and didnt realize within 30 minutes that the game is a technical behemoth
It's both.
For instance, every Battlefield/Battlefront game this gen has been either 900p (Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Battlefront 1) or used a dynamic resolution that drops below 1080p on a regular basis (Battlefield 1, Battlefront 2, Battlefield V).
not even dragon quest xi can manage 1080p on ps4
Oh, ok. I see what you're doing.
I get 40-70fps at 1440p 4xmsaa max settings with 3 out of 5 day tracing settings enabled with my RTX 2070 super.
Without ray tracing enabled I get 70-120fps with the same maxed out settings.
Umad console niggers?
if you care about graphics and stability you would not use a console, you are a pure retard if you think ps4 bro or xbox 1 is even close to being as good as a PC. Consoles should be for exclusives and thats it.
If I ran it at cucksoles settings (low to medium) I'd get solid 144fps. U mad cucksole fags?
Show me five- or actually show me one game that looks like Control when you start having fights and trashing your surroundings
Nice bullshit man. Im getting 40-50fps maxed out at 3440x1440p sith 1080 ti
