Yea Forums i need some good mmorpg to play give me some titles to play Also gw2 is worth or it's trash ?
Is gw2 worth
tried it a long time ago, wpvp is fun if you know what you're doing but it mostly boils down to zergs, rest of the game is mediocre at best, walk into zone, complete checklist, move to next zone, one could argue that's the entire base on levelling in mmos but it's even worst in gw2 cus they don't mask the fact you're just completing a checklist, dungeons are okay, and idk about newer shit
overall- not really, but base game is f2p so at least give it a try
No
wpvp is even worse now and very neglected. The base game really hasn't changed much and dungeons have been all but abandoned and no new ones added either. It's all about raids now and forget doing those unless you are using one of the meta builds, all ascended gear, and have completely memorized exactly what order and timing to use skills in. There's jack shit to do except a bit of tryhard stuff that doesn't even really reward you for managing to do it.
Fractals
This game is a shining example of why the B2P will never work in an MMO. Games like this need consistent revenue to fund expansions and content, something GW2 is devoid of.
Op here i really nerd a good mmorpg should i try wow or something i'm.fucking dying
just play ffxiv
As much of a meme it is, try out wow Classic.
Maybe if your a tranny/ERPer. I don’t understand how people can defend the early-mid game in xiv. It’s easily the worst in any mmo I’ve ever played.
Just try GW2, the base game is free, then buy if you like it.
>mash cooldowns, swap, mash more
>stand out of circle
No MMORPG is good.
Fuck off tranny
GW2 is a really good tourism simulator, I'd recommend it if you just want to explore the world, but don't expect too much from the dungeon/raid progression.
The one thing I can say that GW2 does extremely well is mounts, I don't think any other game has better mount design, even in non-mmos.
Why are you here
isn't guild wars 2 for tranny erpers too? i mean the game has a trans npc that you can't even disagree with
1-80 is free though
if you like exploring is a neat game
if you want something that will last more than 200 hours without you getting bored, i dont think so
It's the worst MMO on the market.
And I bought it day one and both X-Packs
wait till queue times are acceptable then play wow classic
Its the mosty comfy of the MMOs, i really enjoyed the questing and exploration of the zones
The dungeons are a clusterfuck mess though, and PVP is just following a zerg
Probably has the best crafting system in an MMO, especially the cooking though that still not saying much
No, go play Classic WoW now that it's out.
yep, gotta love standing in line for fuckin quests
>implying you can't skip the line
Exactly, which is why you only play WoW classic or OSRS
i would have been more interested in playing classic if it wasn't for the fact that blizzard only drug it out because bfa isn't doing good
Because I was checking the catalog once before bed and played GW2 all the way to Heart of Thorns endgame. I'm too tired to make a long rant post now but the tldr is the game is very basic and pretty shit. There's little room for customization despite the weapon/skills system trying it's best, their attempts at 'everyone's a healer guys!' to break up the classic trinity did fuck all and you still get tank/healer/dps comps if you want to do anything and all the world event content is either pure gimmick or a zerg dance around a boss arena with everyone piled into one shard by some guild fag that's probably one more wiped Octovine from just fucking ending it all.
In short, there's nothing to do unless you want to long in daily for fractals (of which you'll only find groups for the easiest needed for the dailies, anyone that was autistic about doing the all has already done so), do your daily crafts and then log off unless there's a world boss to stand around waiting for to get two blue items and a pat on the back. The raids aren't fun and the 'living world' stuff isn't just a gimmick, IT'S A GIMMICK YOU HAVE TO FUCKING PAY FOR IF YOU MISS so you basically get only a tiny bit of the games story if you haven't played with dedication since launch. Just think about that for a sec, an MMO where you have to PAY for quests you missed. Which by the way, 'Living World Season 1' is both not available but probably never will be. Hours and hours of content never coming back, brushed over in a cutscene for newer players.
GW2 is shit.
I'm not mad, just very 'colourful' with my language after browsing this shithole for so long.
tl;dr NO, it's an ass game that is entirely whored out for it's cash shop that dares to sell you past content (that you're already paying for buying the xpack) but also for convenience. I'm talking "Free teleports to world bosses when they're up" convenience, "summon vendors on demand" kind of shit. It's Korea tier.
post pretty fhds
Reminder that they game came out 7 years ago and has changed considerably since launch.
For the worse.
>I'm too tired to make a long rant post.
>*Proceeds to make a long rant post*
for the better
My hatred for the game overpowered my need to sleep.
>The raids aren't fun
I'm sorry didn't have fun in the best end-game content that the game had to offer, where the combat system that you criticized shines like nowhere else in the game (except in SPvP and the new fractals).
The only worthwhile parts of the game have been completely ignored in favor of whales. What couldve been the best pvp in any mmo has been completely abandoned, balance is shit, raids are piss easy now and balance is still shit, if you play the game dont expect the devs to cater to you in any way unless ur a faggot and like shiny $50 skins
Why is there so much feet in this game, which dev is the footfag
Only wow and RuneScape are worth playing atm. Retail WoW if you want ridiculous amounts of content, boss mechanics and shit, classic if you just want to level up a and fuck around for a while. Having played GW/GW2/WoW/RS/osrs for thousands and thousands of hours I believe that my opinion is valid and should be considered. The time investment is honestly not worth it given that all of these games are essentially just weird skinner boxes.
It doesn't hurt to try it, but as a big GW fan, GW2 is shit. As other poster(s) states, questing is just a check list, they tried to be unique with questing, but all it did was make the world more boring. The story line could be worse, but it's not really great. The world can be pretty, but other areas look really rushed, and the textures just look like they are all from different years in some zones. The game is called Guild Wars, yet, no GvG, wtf? Instead, you have the same capture the point PvP mode from day one, and WvW, which both get worse and unbalanced by the day, huge bummer when PvP was great in GW. Living story is shit. Dungeons are forgotten, fractals was a bandaid to place.on the lack of pve endgame, and I have no opinion on raids, since that's just not my thing, but pve just consist of running a meta build, stack, and spam 1-5 swap, repeat. Skill system is retarded. I'm pretty sure half of the game population is gay or trans.
To not completely shit in the game, the way the combat works is just the best in any mmo, the combat system, animations, and what not just spoiled m e, and makes playing other MMOs disgusting, with how awful thier combat is. It's worth a shot to try th base game for free, you might get something out of it, but you're probably better off playing ESO at the current state of this game.
I never played WoW in my life, but was thinking about getting into it. Should I go for Classic or Retail? Any tips?
All mmos are trash, gw2 included. If you really need a gear grind go play some ARPG or monster hunter or something. MMOs are never going to feel fun again.
Did someone mention femcharr?
What are some good ARPGs?
I hear path of exile is tolerable, diablo 3 is shit, and grim dawn is slow but tolerable if you're ok with that.
The combat system is bad though, movement is fucked up, I was an avid GW player and I remember when the first GW2 gameplay video came out, I said on this here board 'the movement looks floaty as fuck' somehow it was even worse in the release, they managed to gut the somewhat interesting syst they had at release where you had to hunt skills and points and shit and turned It into boring passive skill trees, the weapon system is legit horrendous and most of the time you're just spamming all your off cooldowns skills.
I loved RT in GW so when revenant was released I leveled one, basically all I do is spam my spirits when they're up and spam my bow attacks to stack conditions, there is nothing more to it.
The whole meta of the game is spamming your sills and dodging circles on the ground.
The tier of weapon they added a couple years back is fucking bullshit and everything is repetitive as fuck.
At least in GW when you were farming something you had a dedicated build and more often than not it was all about efficiency of pulling everything on a map, or the largest packs available, killing them all and starting over instead of doing the same linear shitfuck over and over again.
Fuck I hate GW2, I played shit games, I played games that I regretted buying, but GW2 is the only game that actually made me sad and angry because of its core systems.
I used to love WOW, I really dislike pretty much everything in the game since 4.2, but my reaction is petty much whatever I may try it out again in a couple years.
GW2 hurts the shit out of me every time I play it, it's like that movie where the dude is in an exploding train and keeps dying until he finds the bomb except this time the train is the bomb and there is no way out.
TL;DR there is nothing good about GW2, core systems are fucked, story is fucked, writing is fucked, pacing is fucked, all game modes are fucked and the devs would rather shit on the players than admit it even though it basically killed them.
Honestly retail is a better game in my opinion. With 15 years of content behind it there’s always plenty to do and updates are fairly frequent. It plays like you’d expect a modern game to, and has generally good feeling classes/races You can trial any class at level 110 to find out what you like. It might be a little bit overwhelming if you’re brand new. $15 for a sub and you can try classic too and see which you enjoy more. I’d still advise playing literally anything other than an mmo though.
I think I just want a good and diverse RPG, not really sure if I should go for an MMO desu
The game's PvE is pretty ass, especially the base game. The hybrid approach doesn't scale up well because everyone's healing/tanking ability becomes either redundant or just useless. It does better in small groups where everyone has to take care of themselves to a degree, but even then there are other options. They have moved away from that some, by adding healing skills that deal damage, attack skills that heal, and barriers that basically overheal you for a few seconds. But all in all it's simpler to just provide overwhelming numbers. It's designed to be pug-friendly where you just partner up with whoever's nearby for a few minutes and then move on. It doesn't even make you share loot. The expansions/Maguuma Wastes does get tougher, but it's still the same mentality.
That said, small group/1v1 play is probably the most fun. WvW is mostly dead now outside of reset night, which actually makes it better. You can actually get into small fights without getting run over by a 50-man Zerg, and in smaller groups all those redundant skills become useful.
You're underestimating the game and it feels like you haven't actually played in a while.
Like it or not, but GW2 is the best casual MMO on the market.
You wont find anything less shit.
Also go sylvari for your fist character and story. It makes things a tad less frustrating.
>which is why you only play WoW classic
>I don’t understand how people can defend the early-mid game in xiv
Is this some kind of irony? Eearly-mid game in xiv is same like in wow.
I can't think of any MMO with better movements, the jumping, dodging, and even just running around is just top tier, add to that all the movement tech with skills, dodge jumping etc
I used to love WoW as well, but I could never get into any MMO after GW2, they all just feel so clunky and dated. FFXIV in particular manages to look like plastic shit and feel like shit to play with my character sliding around.
I don't play GW2 anymore, dropped shortly after PoF but I have nothing but fond memories despite the content drought that nearly killed the game before HoT.
path of exile and grim dawn are the only decent ones.
diablo 3 and torchlight 2 if youre a babby to the series
I don't play GW2 but combat so far looks great on videos. And mount animations.
Guildwars, what expansion to classic wow is that?
I'll get back to it someday...
You could try dark souls(2>1>3 btw). You get to build a character and it has online mode so you can kids get that MMO feel.
God damn thicc muscle milker mommies are the one reason GW2 gets my attention.
>norns start in the snowy mountains
>half the npcs are barefoot
hmm
WoW is the only relevant MMO with good movement and they managed to move it into the FFXIV animation lock shitfest more and more with every patch.
GW2 is extremely floaty, dodge rolls feel bad, in my opinion and jumping is unresponsive.
Again this is opinion and mileage may vary but those are my feelings about it, and I played all MMO on the market since the late days of EQ.
norn liek cold
It looks great and it feels great, at least once you tackle the expansion content that's actually designed for the combat system. Nearly everything before that feels like it was designed for another game entirely, still, the dynamic event system and million voiced npc chatters and stories make the world worth exploring at least once.
I fucking love Dark Souls (1>3>2 imo), I'm desperately looking for something similar that can fill the void
Already played Bloodborne, can't get Sekiro atm because PS4 broke. Played a bit of Demon Souls but can't get it running on the ol' PS3
Any suggestions?
Did you try Remnant: From the Ashes, it just came out like a week ago and it's very souls inspired and feels really good to play in my opinion.
The Surge is on sale currently and The Surge 2 is close to release, more sci-fi based than fantasy and with less customization option than DS but the combat system of the first game is absolutely insane with the ability of jumping or ducking to avoid hits and shit.
i've played gw2, wow and currently eso. I suggest to give eso a try, im playing with bro and we have a blast. Gw2 and eso are kinda similiar but eso isnt anime trash as much as gw2 +first person view for immersion, great views, fun lore and quests
My only gripe with ESO is that it relies on animation canceling to be competitive and I hate that shit.
>structured PvP is mediocre at best
>world PvP is shit
>fractal dungeons are gimmicky and annoying, there are only a couple fun ones
The game literally doesn't have an enjoyable endgame. The only things you can do to entertain yourself are world events and RP. This is why GW2 will never be as fun or popular as WoW, FFXIV, or even ESO.
Thanks anons, I'll try them out
>Plateformer
>Mash d-pad, dodge enemy, mash more
>don't fall in holes
Ok
Norn bodies run real hot. Their original home before Jormag shoved them south was even colder.
>early mid game xiv is like wow classic
imagine being this retarded, I don’t even care which you like they couldn’t be more different
Also if you just want a generally tough player driven sandbox RPG check out Kenshi, there is a free demo and it's hooked me harder than any game in years.
You pick quests.
You do quests.
Lack of abilities? Same shit in vanilla.
Dungeons spam? Same shit in vanilla.
Lack of quests in endgame locations? Same shit in vanilla.
boy you would hate blade and soul if you ever played it then
>love playing destroyer in b&s and tossing niggas around
>shadow seems cool how about this spin to win thing
>group with an earth destroyer
>mfw watching that cancer
god I wish that game didn’t have a story at all either
I don't mind B&S but high level PvP is too hard for me, legit, I suck at it, and PvE is lacking.
I'm more into slower paced games.
>linear leveling path
>teleport everywhere
>no resource competition
>overworld and leveling proccess is a complete difficulty flatline
>no build customization
>gil is a cosmetic resource unless you’re a crafter
XIV is a wow clone, but from later in wow’s lifetime
>linear leveling path
Wrong. Most of time you have multiple locations like in wow,
>teleport everywhere
Yes teleports exist. However no one force you to use them. There is pretty much wow vanilla style alternative.
>no resource competition
Well yeah. But it's not thing in wow after some time when population fad.
>overworld and leveling proccess is a complete difficulty flatline
The difference is speed. Technically two mobs easily can kill you. Especially in addons.
>no build customization
Yes. But most people just copy "leveling builds".
>gil is a cosmetic resource unless you’re a crafter
You need gold for pots/food tho. WoW has more ways to spend golds mostly because you have no alternatives
In the end of time discussion about leveling is just "my journey > your journey". But classic obligatory has more alive world because of reasons.
The 30th decides if this game lives or dies. No hyperbole or exaggeration.
Wasted money in this ship on pre-launch, played like two weeks... never touched again.
>Wrong. Most of time you have multiple locations like in wow,
the story is not only linear it’s mandatory - leveling alt jobs is different, sure (and another big difference from wow in general), but you absolutely have to follow the same story path on every new XIV character to even unlock further features
>Yes teleports exist. However no one force you to use them. There is pretty much wow vanilla style alternative.
true, but this is a matter of conveniences always getting the best of people - they’re an option so they will get used, but it’s OK because the overworld has nothing to explore anyway
>Well yeah. But it's not thing in wow after some time when population fad.
true for new wow because there’s no reason to level alts outside of dungeons or even go back to old zones - yes the problem may lessen over time but there will always be a rogue creeping up on your copper veins
questing resources (the mobs themselves) can also be pretty contested but that definitely fades with time
>The difference is speed. Technically two mobs easily can kill you. Especially in addons.
XIV mobs do not add unless you purposefully pull them or are in a group, their aggro radius even by direct sight is poor, and they won’t kill you unless you AFK in red stuff - in addition most fights take place in wide open spaces, and you’re one (free, fast recharging) sprint away from escaping a mistake
this isn’t necessarily a comment about the difficulties in combat (leaving alone CC and kiting) but the amount the world tries to threaten you
>Yes. But most people just copy "leveling builds".
most people probably don’t, people generally don’t look up how to play before playing (hello XIV frost mages)
even so, the options being there makes a fundamental difference
>You need gold for pots/food tho. WoW has more ways to spend golds mostly because you have no alternatives
you need a pittance that you’ll get from leveling, not talking about endgame here
Bumb because noone can stop me
Black Desert Online is fairly decent, although it'd be much better if it had dungeons. I still like how it handles resource gathering. Instead of gathering shit on your own you can be a fucking Jew and recruit minority races to do it for you instead and pay them with nothing but beer
Are there any MMOs out there that still give you the good old fashion TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNN experience you had in Anarchy Online?
>good old fashion TRAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNN experience
what's that?
Play classic
Ignore ffxiv unless you like playing dress up and get anxious when playing with other people
Osrs is still a thing
I enjoy ESO immensely.
>relies on animation canceling to be competitive
i dont animation cancel
Not as good as GW1 but still better than Classic.
Whats happening on 30th? I have been out of the loop for years now.
""""special"""" announcement. Which is just going to be LS5 and more gemstore shit
Ok yeah I just lost all hope that I didn't even know I still had. Will keep an eye out for it in case a miracle happens.
If you were going to leave a dungeon in a hurry in AO it basically meant every enemy you passed would aggro you as you made a mad dash for the exit. It was common courtesy to yell TRAAAAAAAAAAIIIIN with as many letters as you could to let everyone else in the dungeon know that if that didn't leave they'd be gang banged to death by a swarm of enemies. It applied especially for the Temple of Three Winds because it had quite a few hallways with enemies you couldn't avoid aggroing
>Also gw2 is worth or it's trash ?
Depends on how tolerant you are to a soundscape comprising of the dark hums of a rapist!
I've played the game for almost 4,000 hours. I've never really done open world PvE. Always hated it. The overwhelming majority of time I spent in GW2 has been
>WvW(3 servers go head to head and capture each other's shit and bank each other)
>PvP
(Ranked has only one game mode, which is a mode where you have 3 territories you have to keep captured in a 5v5 setting. Each territory generates a point if you have it captured)
>Raids
Pretty self explanatory. Very fun and gives you the best gear in the game if you farm the raid currency and/or get random drops.
>Fractals
Essentially end game dungeons that require you to have end game armor so you can put infusions into the slots of said armor that make it possible for you to do them. Pretty fun and also give you endgame gear.
Overall it's a phenomenal game imo. All the people saying it sucks played the garbage that is PvE and got bored. You can level through pvp, while getting good at your class at the same time. You can go to the pvp zone and do pvp at level 1, and with PvP being in season, you can not only level up via (tome of knowledge), you can also earn endgame gear via ascended shards and marks of the grandmaster. Pretty great game. Give it a shot. It's f2p with some limitations.
just play classic waow
gw2 is fucking trash like bfa or ffixv
the gear is pointless leveling is pointless your character is pointless the lore is shit the art is a clusterfuck
Oh right, I remember that from DAoC, I don't think any MMO does that nowadays. Vanilla WoW had some dungeon entrances that were at the end of tunnels full of mobs, but they usually ignored other players and regained their position after breaking aggro.
eso is a fun but god damn zenimax is fucking shameless with their carrot sticks
You can play the entire base game for free
>It's f2p for base game so what do you have to lose?
Depends on how you like to play.
>If you solo, quest and occasionally like mobbing a random event boss with people. Yes
>PvP or WvW
Dunno but I've heard more not really
>Dungeon Raids
Not really. Poor Dungeon system
>Seasonal events
Yeah. People get into it
It's a solid MMO for people that like PvE environments. It's an MMO for normies who wanna enjoy an MMO but not sink major chunks of life into every mechanic and update.
>Expansions are cheap and most buffs are asthetic
Main problem I had with AO is that you had to make a "twink" or you were basically fucked and doing so waa both time consuming and complicated. A basic example:
> Jesus Shit Eating Christ user what the fuck, why aren't you using a perenium weapon?
> Equip these weapons that boost your stats
> Now ask a player who's playing trader to give you a buff
> Alright, you're almost there, equip these implants
>You've equipped the implants? Good, now swap that chest implant with this one
> Now that you've swapped out that implant you can swap out your eye implant with this one
> Almost there, just swap out your left arm implant with this one
> Now equip your perenium weapon
>Congratulations! You're officially ready to tackle the dungeon your twink was built too tackle!
What comes on the 30th?
Endgame is 100% fashion and gloating rights. If you see someone with a legendary it means they farmed for 6 months or shelled out 200$ for gold conversion, but either way the stat bump is negligible.
Combat system is great. Balance is it. PvE is cut and dry and PvP is neglected. I still play every now and then in short bursts, and the sPvP was fun, but I got plat one season like 2 years ago and havent touched ranked since. Now when I play I spend the entirety of my time in The Pit in the lobby.
project gorgon monsters have no leash in dungeons, pretty based
>ears and hair are different color
FAKE AND GAY
No mention of PvP/WvW. Ask me how I know you have no fucking clue what you're talking about and youre a casual PvE fag
>or it's trash ?
Trash.
The Development team out of CB is disgusting and the community is Reddit garbage.
Meaningless class system, with little to no benefits of utilizing skills, or special manipulation of fields (AOEs). Get on a Warrior and press the 1 key, dont bother making anything else, it is a waste of time.
Awful lore. What wasnt imported from the original game, is uninteresting filler.
Abandoned, empty worldscape. They fired the guy who made the hidden puzzles and event minigames. All potential for exploration and incentives for doing so are pointless.
Lame raids and PVP content. Nerfed classes and horrible balancing mean a terrible time in general.
5 max characters, 100% map explorer, Alpha/CB player here. You're fucked, basically.
Dont make my mistakes.
PvP is unbalanced with the same classes on top since the release of the game and still no GvG, WvWvW is laggy follow the dot simulation.
There's no stat difference between ascended and legendary, you can swap the stats of legendary items on the fly, that's the only difference.
>Get on a Warrior and press the 1 key, dont bother making anything else, it is a waste of time.
You sound like someone who played for two months after release and then stopped.
GW2 tried too hard to copy WoW while also not be WoW. So what we got was a shitfest of a really cool world to explore with jack shit to do.
I miss GW1 so much.
I meant between exotic and ascended/legendary, but ye
What changed? some new weapon abilities? new fractal bosses that actually require 2 buttons and dodge?
All of that and much more.
When did you stop playing?
I dont know why you're bitching about PvE, that shit's always going to be boring in any MMO. It's just learning the step by step guide to beating a simon says game so you get more impressive numbers for the next simon says game. WvW and sPvP are the only reason to play this game.
Ah yes bases sPvP where the same 3 classes have dominated since launch and is now totally dominated by the 3 new specializations or whatever the name is.
God I miss GW.
Which 3 classes? I want to see how much you actually know about anything.
Have they announced the next big update?
That new necro spec, one shot thieves and guardians.
Arenanet had a huge staff lay off earlier this year. Unlikely there will be any more expansions or big updates.
They said they would reveal it soon, just didn't read or know any more when. Don't interpret too much into the lay off.
Thats how it worked nigh on for two years after launch. And I reckon it still probably does in a lot of ways that new players either dont understand or acknowledge.
Doesnt really matter, though. The whole game really needed care that it didnt get, and class re-balancing was some of the least of its problems.
>WvW and sPvP
Oh wait, nvm youre a retard. As you were.
But the game got all the care it needed with the first expansion that pretty much fixed the combat system by designing encounters based on it.
And a warrior pressing 1 was literally useless past the first month of the game when the "meta" was 4 warriors + 1 mesmer.
Scourge isn't as much of a staple anymore since their condi was scaled back and they can (and do) get rolled super hard. One shot thieves are absolute garbage in conquest because their oneshot is easily deflectable and requires too much set-up time so they have zero point presence. The only thing you were right about is guards, and I'd bet money you have no idea why since you dont even know the names of the subclasses.
Bro I haven't played the game since Path of Fire releases and I mostly played Axe Horn Ranger and bow Revenant, sorry if I don't remember everything about a game I don't really care about.
what this user said, also the August 30th there is a live annoucement which will supposedly is pretty big, so wait maybe they will improve stuff or maybe not.
>make all items tradeable
>remove all timegating
>remove all instanced content
>remove all waypoints
>remove the minimap/map
>drop items on death
>remove moving while attacking
>remove gliding
>remove mounts
>add unique animations for crafting instead of having it all in a menu
>make models for all items/make items droppable
>remove the trading post
>add p2p trading
>remove all the red rings designed for literal mouthbreathing retards and make enemies/models properly represent their hitboxes
>remove idle healing

>break all outfits into individual pieces
>remove the cashshop and make rewards drops or rewards from content
>add collision for enemy players

>add traditional quests
I WILL NOW PLAY YOUR GAME
Just go play Rust or something
I would love to see games going back to just being games sentiment. There is just so much pointless time stretchers, grind and other shenanigans which try to waste your time on bullshit.
Are you retarded?
That's some autistic, shit taste you got there.
I bought both expacs and can say it's not worth it.
This is nothing like gw1, it's a disgrace. Also dev team has been cut so don't expect another expac ever as this soccer mom mmorpg goes to die.
>I bought the expansion and I'm definitely not here to stir up shit because I need my outrage drama just like SJWs
The devs being terrible with no direction on what they're doing while drip feeding casuals shouldn't be a knock on b2p. They've had the revenue to do things but the studio took everyone off their only game to work on some mobile side project while Amazon poached their team.
They used to have a team twice the size of WoW/FFXIV until NCSoft stepped in recently. That large and no work ever got done
One of those requires less autistic"builds"
they were trimming the fat, no actual developers were laid off
osrs is the best mmo and it's not even close
