>turn off the defenses at Joint Security HQ
>all of the Strongmen come online
>it's actually, physically impossible to get back to your stuff because you'll take a -1000 initiative penalty on area transition and eat half a dozen rocks
Styg..?

so what causes the tchortists to fight you after they break into coretech's shit?
in my first playthrough they weren't there but now in my second playthrough they are

I started a naturist run and there's nothing you can do to stop me

>run into the mute Fisherman
>he has Ghostface
Even though Black Sea solves the fishing problem I still feel blessed.

>use molotovs constantly in arena to get Hellfire nickname
>finally beat Bullseye
>get "Brutalette"
FUCK
I don't even remember getting 500 damage, fucking shotguns

What does the Black Sea do for the fishing problem

It has an area where you get tons of rare fish

You can fish up almost everything in one cavern.

Noob in need to advice on first build:

Is hacking AND lockpicking necessary?

Is biology necessary?
>I'm not psi, and I plan on pickpocketing healing items anyways.

Is stealth necessary?
>I'm tin can, and I've heard you can sneak around easy with certain armor and cloaking devices at 0 stealth.

Which will be more useful for me, throwing or traps?
>tin can, assault rifle build

Is electronics still useful if I don't plan on using energy weapons?

Attached: index.jpg (257x196, 6K)

play the game
restart when you realize you fucked up your build

>Is hacking AND lockpicking necessary?
Not necessary but makes life easier, at least keep one of the two

>Is biology necessary?
No but drugs help, you dont need too much investment to make good ones without going into superdrug tier

>Is stealth necessary?
You answered yourself

>throwing or traps?
throwing I guess

Electronics always good because of energy shields, the ultimate defense against a lot of things and other utilities you can craft

Nope on all of those, except for electronics, that's always good. Now go play the game.

There are a few rooms I want to hack into in the private floor however the camera keeps finding me. Is there a way I can disable this?

stop stealing from sgs

Stop robbing your home station, you faggot zoner.

The dosh is too tempting i'm sorry fellow SGS residents.

im sorry i couldn't protect you

>cast enrage on balor
>watch as he flattens his own gang of pipeworkers

its okay she was a faggot anarchist anyways

hey hey people

Friendly reminder to kill protectorats and to stay free, brother.

Friendly reminder to gas the free drones and stay safe, citizen.

Quick tinkering
More like fucking pointlessly slow ass tinkering
thanks stgysie

The duality of zoners.

Im awaiting the review Sseth. You better make it fucking spicy and help out Styg, he deserves it bre.

how viable are smgs really
the further im getting the more i'm having problems with high DT
I know i need a better gun soon but my skills aren't high enough yet to make what I want

Attached: file.png (247x258, 14K)

I expect a shitstorm if he does the review

Was it worth it, user? Was that useless hideout worth losing her?

The bullets make the gun.

>Just restarted for the 3rd time after getting to level 15

At least I am learning what works and what doesn't.

Attached: 1556280591061.png (613x805, 826K)

Merchants guild will invest sufficiently to fill the Styg's jet ski fund.

>Is hacking AND lockpicking necessary?
No, they're just useful to have.
>Is biology necessary?
No, but it's useful to have. You typically don't care much about healing items. The main benefit of biology is that it can give you feat tier buffs.
>Is stealth necessary?
No, but it's useful to have if you want to use it regularly. As a tin can you won't want to waste points in it and you can get a good deal of a effective stealth off gear if you need it for a specific thing.
>Which will be more useful for me, throwing or traps?
You could swing traps but throwing would probably be more useful for your build overall
>Is electronics still useful if I don't plan on using energy weapons?
Yes. Everyone relies on shield emitters.

You get that for not being a tanky tin can and not facing the bullets yourself to protect her

Keep in mind that you don't need to max most of these things.
Half progression on hacking/lockpicking will open most things, specially if you have a favorable base attribute.
50 biology will let you make a lot of useful stuff, same for chemistry.

If you're a tin can don't even bother with stealth.

Spec ops, expertise, pump dex and you can burst like 5 times a round. Get AP and just deal with it for the bigger boys.

>Spec ops, expertise, pump dex and you can burst like 5 times a round
i have all of this already
i guess farming w2c bullets is my only choice then

Satisfactory answer bre. Glad to know you got good taste and can apreciate CRPG kino, even if you bitched about infinitely respawning enemies in DC like they even do much, lmao.

How far can you quest for both the scrappers and the eels without angering the other?

Can I make antidotes?

I hate the respawning enemies too, but primarily the low level ones. I feel like I have to carry the Rathound King Hide with me because I want to explore and keep running into Rathound packs that I've killed 10 times. Shit eats through my ammo. However, some respawns feel very necessary so you really can't complain too much.

Riot Shields need to be able to block or reduce bullet damage.

You can do the first batch of quests they have, then they'll tell you to come back later - those next quests go against the other faction's interests.

You can do the first two Scrapper quests, IIRC. Then the first two or so Eels quests, then you choose.

So if i tell the scrappers about the Back Eel's tunnel, that closes their questline?

They already give mech resist no?

Of course it does.

>check shelve in Junkyard wormhole
>1 cryo collector and 1 incendiary
Of course that doesnt happen when I pick chem guns

Yes, but the entire block gimmick is useless, Most enemies use guns and the resistance is lower than even some leather armors.

How the fuck do I plant Abrams bug without stealth? The wiki says you have to hack the 85 door but there is a guy in there so I assume he will become hostile? And I really cant find a spot to initiate the hack without being attacked in the first place.

I found a bipod reaper on a dead body outside SGS on my way to Newton...on my sledge run. rng is the worst sometimes

Shields are literally useless unless you're going a bash build. A bash build is actually decent with some investment, but as far as defense the shield is just worse than blocking with a sword or spear.

For his second task? Just tell Deputy to look for your lost dildo in the Ambassador's office.

persuade the dude at the desk to leave
or artificially boost your stealth with leather and cloaking devices

>85 hack door
Lol no are you drunk?
You really think anyone has 85 hacking before depot A? Just put on some stealth gear if you dont have persuasion

Since I cleared the burrower mines, can I clear the burrower caves at the GMS Compound? Are there other critters lurking about I should be aware of?

>It is possible to complete this mission without investing in Stealth skill nor gear. You can hack the door to the room east of Deputy's - just start the hack once the patrol is out of sight. With the right timing you can hack it before the patrol comes back. Afterwards, enter the room when out of sight again and go for the vent.

There is a door on the north side. The guard walks around in a big circle. It is very easy to start unlocking it when the guard is away then you can go in without even entering stealth.

Black cloth tabi
Any leather armor with soft foam and black cloth
A balaclava
Stealth in his office, round the corner, activate the bug, the detection of the pre acual office dude sucks, so even 40 stealth on hard does it, just hotkey the bug and press it imediately.

Not him, but I don't think it requires 85 skill.

It's actually the easier door which requires around 45 skill and where you can find a spot without a guard spotting you

All you go to do is go into the room with the deputy, tell him go grab something you lost in the ambassadors room, and then stuff it into the vent

I doubt it's 85 desu, probably a mistake, just check
You can also pickpocket a keycard from the ambassador that opens that door, or from the named guard outside one for the room on the left.

Assuming you cannot persuade the ambassador's secretary to leave his room, below that room is an empty room. Hide in front of the pillar near the door. There is a patrolling soldier, but immediately when he leaves line of sight start hacking the door.

Just burrowers as i remember
Fuck all point in doing it tho
At least saving Jenny makes me feel warm inside

Sure. It's the burrower-infested building near the Junkyard you should be most wary of.

I stealthed through this place
Many f9 keys died

>save up for a jet ski since there aren't many other uses for charons at this point
>find the Reef Glider just when I almost get enough
>pretty sure I'm nearing the end of the DLC anyway, so jet skis will become useless
Welp.

Test them out lad
I just got off the boat and need to make an educated purchase with my invictus money

I just went on my first mission in the Black Sea and had to convince the muties to let me into their camp by promising medical supplies.
I didn't send the supplies yet but repaired a generator that gives them energy and they seemed pretty happy about it.
Will they still get mad if I don't give them the meds now?
Also: How does that camp supplies system work anyways?
Will security forces not have any combat drugs/hypos when medical supplies dwindle?

Attached: 1536517342502-0.jpg (500x500, 18K)

Bought three rapid reloaders in one trading trip, and that's after skipping a couple before Depot A. There's no way they're rare.
You goys should check out the knives Constantine sells, they're fucking ridiculous. 25 charons per knife with 100 mercantile and they give about 250 scrap each. You're basically printing money by buying them and repairing shit or just selling the kits.

Take the Cruiser from protectoreddit or buy Torpedo.

what's so good about the reef glider? Felt like an inferior version of the aegis patroller so I just kind of left it there.

The worst part is that the Aegis Patroller already feels perfect. It tanks everything aside from savage crossbows, it goes reasonably fast and it can carry enough loot to satisfy your murderhobo ways.
And you get it for free. No need to give that kike Ray 40k or whatever the fuck he thinks his hunks of junk are worth.

The Cruiser is straight up better, but not by much.

It's not autism mom, it's DOMINATING!

Attached: 20190827222507_1.jpg (1024x768, 279K)

I restarted as a full psi guy, picking all 4 schools. Hacking and lockpicking I had to take aswell, I'm getting annoyed if I can't open doors and chests in rpgs.
Now I need a bit of advice on the crafting skills. So far I've been focusing on mechanics/tailoring and electronics to make my own gear. What about bio/chem, will I need that aswell? Also, can I just stop hacking and lockpicking once I reach an effective level of 100?

I have like 3 stacks of repair kits just from looting knives and guns so its not really necessary to do this

90% of "stealth" missions in this game can be completed with proper timing on enemy patrols.

>40k
What the fuck.
I have not started the dlc yet but in the base game quests 2k can uplift a family of four adults from drop zone to Core City proper, or basically purchase a business (apartment workbenches)

You will need some bio to craft psi headband and drugs

Most of them are around 20k. There's only one that's worth 40k.
And yeah, it's bad.

You can plant it anywhere in that screen's ventilation. Just right click on the item.

here's another method to screw with guards
>throw a loud grenade (or pyrokinesis) at an empty square
>the whole block of guards leave their posts to come and investigate
>waltz in to do stealthy shit
don't forget to unequip belt items asap in the embassy

It glide fast.

You can sell it to Ray for like 30 grand with good mercantile and parts.
It also looks neat.

>he doesnt know
YEET THAT SHIT TO RAY AND GET YOUR FUCKING PAY DAY DUMBASS, ITS A CENTURIES OLD BITCHIN LOOKING VEHICLE THAT STILL WORKS, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, A CUE?
Torpedo is way, way faster.

Torpedo also costs 22k, bre. That's SEVEN supersteel plates+tip to Leonie. Screw that kike, he ain't getting my hard-earned coins.

So what's up with that spike? I broke the monolith with the torch already, but that only produced an oddity. No use for the spike, no lore, nothing. Did I do it too early?

talk to someone with high biology skill for some additional lore

You got carbonized pirate. Give it to a biologist to get some lore. Its not meant to be a key to a long forgotten realm of insanity and the beyond, you already have the Juice for that.

How much is "some bio"? And the other skills, is there a reasonable cap for them?

for psi-headbands and psi-beetle armor 45 total biology skill will let you craft 160 quality materials

You need a bit of biology for psi headbands if I remember correctly. Chemistry isn't needed. Hardest hacking check without boost from tools is 130 (and 135 with boost), hardest lockpicking is 130. If you don't know, there is +10/+10 hacking/lockpicking suit in Expedition which weighs only 3 lbs.

What's the best energy weapon type?

Laser.
>good damage starters
>can get ridiculous crit bonus or be efficient as fuck
>not a one shot blast like the plasma pistol while still dunking people with criticals, being able to reach 900%+ damage
>precise, easy to have ammo in bulk, few enemies resist it, light, worth a fuckload, crafting makes them super good
>big int for them makes sure you can also dip into bio for focus stims 15% chance, infused rathound leather gives you easy +10% chance, reckless means extra 8%, big dex above 5 is a point per, meaning you can easily reach very high chance with a rapid fire weapon
Its good stuff.

I remember it used to be 85, but it got changed at some point

Why are boots so fucking shit except for the movement tabis

steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=843557165
Check this guide, it doesnt have Expedition content but you can find most thresholds you need to worry about for crafting and other stuff

>he didn't craft infused cave hopper boots with springs in them for INFINITE running
Dumb zoner.

Metal boots are good too

does this do anything

Attached: file.png (184x169, 40K)

Wait. You can kill him? Shit dude, go for it, I always hated his ass.

what's infused about

If I craft a leather armor and use an optional overcoat, I get the long coat look instead of the ugly ass armor?

You can infuse super steel into leather and it gives them special passive effects. Like cave hopper gives you extra movement points IIRC.

Infusing leather gives it extra fancy properties. Infused hopper boots decrease the cooldown on sprint, for example.

Christ, the tac vest and riot gear look like a ass, I wish there was a more appealing option for psykers

I talked to Quinton, it's just a trinket that's supposed to be used on something as a key. Nothing in the temple, though, and I cleared almost every native location, killed the boss characters, too. Without too many spoilers, am I supposed to progress the story first?
Didn't find anything with Juice yet.

My Ancient Rathound spring booties are my best friend and have been so since level 12.

Correction to clear things up, I have used Juice to no avail.

>Shittalking Riot Gear
Bitch, overcoated Riot Gear is sexy AF.

i didnt have line of sight maybe with a sniper rifle it could work from further away

>it's just a trinket that's supposed to be used on something as a key
Where the fuck did you get that from, shit for brains? Quinton told you that it's just piece of carbon.

>it's just a trinket that's supposed to be used on something as a key
No it's not, learn to read
The statue is a carbonized pirate
What do you think a fucking piece of crispy pirate is supposed to open?

Fuck is your problem? It says "key" on it, so it's supposed to be used in a dialogue or on a door.

Should I invest some points into persuasion/intimidation?

>the tac vest and riot gear look like a ass
Riot gear looks great, though. Tac vest overcoats too, but I'm really upset that all overcoats aside from black cloth look the same.

Where do you even find an ancient at level 12

Rathound King bre.

Depends. It's generally a good idea, with persuasion being more useful. Intimidation just robs you of loot mostly.

Do you want to have access to solutions that involve less violence than usual? Then yes.

Camp Hathor, obviously.

Persuation if not intimidation
Boost intimidation if you get Yell

Persuation will save you a trader and other things

Rathound King, Arena, and there's 2 not far north of SGS

>there's 2 not far north of SGS
Wait, what? Is that a Dominating thing?

They are everywhere on dominating

vivian isn't actually dead right?

No she's waiting for you at the bar, don't make her wait for you user!

bre...

It's just a pirate finger, dude. Maybe you could use it as an improvised dildo, but don't let a piece of carbon break your mind.

So, that's a no?

broken mike

If I use flashbang to go past the faceless soldiers at Rail Crossing, can I still talk to the mindreader or will he be hostile?

pretty much everywhere if you are playing dominating

You can talk to him, and if no Faceless dies everything's great.

Are there any maps available online? I want to make sure I did not miss any location.

Attached: low.png (3482x1699, 780K)

>cast Contraction on juiced up Goliathus instead of myself
Oops?

Play as a hammer wizard

just a reminder that regular wizard hits as hard as hammer wizard, only from 10 tiles away

>Breeze blows on you
>Die

Being a tank and have magic is way more fun

Keep your poz, pure hammer or bust.

reminder that wizards can also wear heavy armor and have high con

Laminated or Reinforced ballistic panel?

My psi guy is level 12 and I feel like I always have to use lots of abilities to actually secure the kill. Is the neural overload damage boost feast worth it; I constantly have to use it to finish things off.

That's odd, but that's okay on my book

wtf is wrong with the natives
why cant they just be normal

you'll know why they're batshit if you follow the DLC quests

Where the fuck do I find the Blueprint for Machetes? I am in Junkyard and no one has sold it so far.

Attached: 1555408385105.png (384x390, 175K)

Hunter dude who sells you spears and shit bre. Or gun seller.

a-am i supposed to be using the starting .44 pistol until the junkyard?

Do you like firing once a turn? Do you not have a better pistol with better ammo? Do you feel like you got no reason to switch to far?

If you answered yes, no and yes, then you are fine bre. If you can get a good AR or smg tho, Id recomend it.

>aegis trooper flashbangs himself and an ally
bravo

I used the starting shoddy shotty even after the Junkyard. In hindsight, I really should've known better and invested into mechanics.

Look, okay. The game bugged. It was a glitch. I checked his inventory. He wasn't selling it.

I must be blind. Thanks user!

Happens to us all bre, enjoy your big knife.

They'll be fine, Yahota is the local poison bolt magnet.

anyone know where you can find the third-eye blueprint?

I tried getting smgs and i also got an 8,6mm assault rifle from a raider in the tunnels north of SGS. They're all so inaccurate past a couple paces though.
And I don't fire once per turn, I have point shot. But even that tends to be not enough and I have to savescum initial aimed shot of most fights.

Is that the shotgun you get by passing the speech check in the armory? How do you even get so much speech? 10 will or do you like do the first quest without any weapons?

Horticulture center.

Ill give you a tip. Craft yourself a 7.62 smg, doesnt really matter what kind. 7.62 is a good halfway between 9 mil and 5 mil, meaning its not good damage but its also not a total peashooter, with decent ap cost that wont destroy your ap bank and that usualy has good enough utility to deal with.

I personaly hate .44s, the damage spread is fucking ridiculous, the aiming shit, the ammo expensive, the guns usualy bad, point shot a bit of a waste. As for smgs and ARs, make sure you have their strength and guns skill requirements I supose, then burst burst burst.

Yep. I had 15 persuasion and, I think, 7 will.
Considering that the shotgun you get is indescribably bad, the check can't be that high.

You can pickpocket a keycard from the embassador to unlock the 85 door.

>Craft yourself a 7.62 smg
Eh, I already got a couple 7.62 smgs, but like I said their accuracy is shit. Even the unique MP5 with its increased burst precision is not that accurate at 55 guns and 8 perception (7 base+1 from night vision)

Hold the fuck up. What the hell is stuff that inacurate with 55 guns and 8 per. What dificulty are you even on bre, maybe just lay some bear traps and use some nades then?

>underrail shills still at it
>40 IPs
just fuck off back to your general already trannies

Attached: file.png (1533x883, 524K)

Normal difficulty and I get like 62% chance to hit at the SGS shooting range at 5 yards.
btw are there any guns that require 7 strength to use?

Fuck off retard, people are discussing a videogame

you've missed a whole area in the bottom left corner

Shotties, I think.

Bursting Full Auto with Combat Shotguns takes 7, IIRC.

Huszar assault rifles need 7, but they're not that good compared to chimera/hornet.
Full Auto feat takes 7. I know that's not a gun, but it is related.

Pipeworker

>playing no murder allowed run
>realize that I cant get Jackknife
Nooooooooooooooo

Self defence isn't murder.

Sure but he would have to attack me then

it's not murder if the turret does it

Yes it is

shit now i had an idea how cool would it be if you could have a shoulder turret instead of a shield.
i wanna rp as a predator now styyyyyg

They usually do attack you though. You have to try to convince them not to.

Well yeah, obviously I went for the diplomatic way since I'm trying to avoid killing people. I was hoping I could pickpocket it but nope

Cute bot is cute.

Attached: 20190828195240_1.png (1920x1080, 1.03M)

>explore black sea
>get to the hive locust bullshit
Holy crap, who thought this shit would be a good idea? It literally just made me alt+f4 because I'm so annoyed of it.
It's not even the difficulty. It's rather easy but every thing is acting before me and shoots all day and there are millions off it. It's even worse when you explore the site and trigger all the dumb hives from your jet.

Attached: 1540034989150.jpg (750x748, 105K)

fun fact: there's 3 more locations with hives, in even greater concentration
at one point you can aggro 5 hives at once

Imagine not having any bio resist and no grenades

why do crabs jumpscare

What the fuck styg.

I do but the fights are so annoying

Attached: 1513529105825.jpg (256x256, 10K)

>and shoots all day
Yeah. Should have been a burst or something. One attack per locust but with multiple needles.

why are there no 5mm assault rifles?

It sucks even if you're completely immune to their damage. Waiting for a thousand locusts to take their turns is boring as shit even with max combat speed.

Horticulture, Fetid Marsh, and?

why didnt you put bear traps in front of the entrance tho?

The one with the pool? I nearly died in real life because of this jumpscare.
Is there something in the pool?

Zone with a bunch of hives in the middle of the ocean, close to horticulture but far away enough to be it's own thing

>he doesnt make notes which rocks he didnt destroy and connections he didnt explore
yikes

It's right above Horticulture, there's not even not even one map between the two.

The game also needs a silenced sniper

Does the cheap shot crit damage bonus also apply to skills, e.g. Impale? Or is it "auto attacks" crits only?

Are you going to stop playing when main quest gets to Core City?
Buy bear traps and cheese some humans to get a real weapon.

New component
Name: Power Servos
Slot: Carrier Vest (metal armor only)
Effect:
+10% armor penalty
+1 strength
Weight: 6.5
On activation effect:
+3 additional strength
Armor penalty effect on movement speed decreased by 5% per quality level (additive)
Melee damage increased by 0.5% per quality level (double for sledgehammer/unarmed)
Focused state retained on movement
Stealth decreased by 10 points per quality level

Consumes a lot of energy, but plasma cores can now be used in metal armor enhancement slots to increase it's (and regenerative) energy capacity

WTF is wrong with your font rendering? That garbage is borderline unreadable.

Any crit gets affected in crit modifiers. Get that cheap shots mate.

probably a screenshot poorly resized in paint

>Got to level 20 on a shotgun user without seeing a single one of these
>Finding one at like level 8 while doing the Eels quest before even finishing Depot A

Bres...

Attached: belt.png (1920x1080, 479K)

No, it isn't. Are you blind? All the images and css graphics are fine, but fonts are horribly aliased and even their kerning is completely fucked up.

Just got to Core City and the merchants have started to stock tnt charges, what's a worthwhile place to blow up?

No, of course I will do what's needed to progress in the Arena and kill Tchort at the end

is it possible to TNT tchort

Fort Apogee

Stay free, brother
take good care of Laser

where can i find that?

Nope, TNT only does insane damage to rocks. Does piss all to anything else.

It's gotta be a mongoloid that can't even install drivers properly.

>you can actually sail from the Black Sea all the way to SGS
Absolutely derailed.

I just need a psi muffler holy shit, is it really that much to ask

how do i move into the exit of an area without leaving in combat, when i do have enough action points to leave?

I've checked the place and it was nowhere to be found

Did I fuck up by putting Phil's microchip into My own hand?

Try mousing over the side of the exit tile, but usually only works when there's a wall
Or just use some AP walking back and forth

You have to do to progress.

Yes, you've caught the Lemurisms now.

Then you didn't check hard enough.

Attached: te.png (1495x724, 1.32M)

I checked that exact desk and it wasn't in it
shit sucks

Can I get back into the protectorate prison after completing the quest to free Maura?

Tommy Gun is real OG shit, bre

It has to be there, it's static. I'm sure of it.

Yeah.
Pretty sure you can just storm in from the main entrance as well, bre, killing a few tin cans is good too.

There is. It's a unique and it's actually pretty neat in an expertise set-up and very little resists the shock bullets

Listen you fucking zoner. YOU CANT HIT SHIT WITH YOUR GODDAMN OG, AT MOST YOU PRAY WITH EXPENSIVE EXPLOSIVE ORDINANCE AND EVEN THEN, LOOK AT THIS SHIT

Attached: сука блять the fuck is this aim.jpg (219x115, 10K)

where do i find it?

real. og. shit.
and, yeah, explodey bullets make it more fun. it's like literally firing money

Its in the shield emitter warehouse in Core City

isn't that like way past the usefulness of the shitty earlygame 5mm?

cyкa pls, I wisghed it was an actually good gun, but this unique really aint shit. Wish it was, but fuck me, it really just isnt regularly usable, yknow?

It's used with special ammo.

shock ammo is trash, I've never fought an enemy that W2C or JHP wasn't better

shock bullets, they are pretty good against bots and the like, specially on a smg or rifle that can fire a lot of them since they have a flat damage each rather than scaling of the type of bullet and weapon, a very rapid firing weapon will make the best use of them

still, they are like explosive bullets and the tommy gun, kinda of a meme since you might as well be firing charons directly with how much they end up costing, acid bullets work the same way

and thats why contaminated bullets/ micro shrapnel and incendiary bullets are kinda shit, they don't scale and shooting more of them doesn't really have sense

Can I repair the Naga protector if it takes damage during battle?

Important question : do the laser cats drop an oddity?

Nope.
Nope. Get one in a dog crate tho. Carry it around for fun.

>Nope.
:(
Looks like it's time to genocide so they don't get the satisfaction of killing him then.

Holy shit, the pirate mission where you have to capture the protectorate ship was pure cancer.
>team fight so it takes long
>handful of pirates with shoddy gear against 4 plasma turrets and several energy weapon + EMP nade users and normal soldiers
>smoothbrained friendly AI tries to take down the turrets with crossbows instead of focusing on squishier targets
>any one of the protectorate soldiers can board a Dreadnaught if not stopped, but you can't board it yourself because "can't interact with that while in combat and fuck you t. Styg"
>if you manage to start somewhat winning, 4 Protectorate Cruisers spawn as reinforcements and of course every single one of them is also geared with both explosive and EMP nades that they'll use the moment they get you in sights
Aside from over 100 reloads, what's even supposed to be the intended strategy for that fight? Having LoC?

I whipped it out on my tin can ar build every so often, since you've already got full-auto and PER maxing instead of dex. Sometimes fun has a dps cost, bre

>dog crate
That was the plan. Many dog crates.

They drop mediocre laser conductors for your energy pistol, sell them.

Sseth video when? Give Styg money

there arent enough memes in the game for that guy

What the fuck is wrong with combat shotguns?

The burst is so inaccurate it's worse than firing normally.
I just crafter my first one, and boy i'm glad i didn't bother getting strength for full-auto.

>war crime simulator
Nah.

He is working on it dummy. Read the thread.

Is the wave amplifier bugged? Im trying to craft a shield and this thing is decreasing my shield capacity and lowering the energy conversion which is the opposite of what the tooltip says.
The high efficiency energy converter is doubling my shield capacity though, even though it's only supposed to improve conversion rate.

Is it possible to release the replicants and still have the Tchortists in DC remain friendly?

hopefully not soon, although i wish he did one so the slavs get some well deserved money, i also want it be after the threads naturally die, otherwise we will have to endure the sea of shitters coming here to complain the game is too hard

Once got a commando proc off the camera in the arena.

>Gun Nut doesn't work with energy/chemical pistols

Attached: 1556738348504.jpg (480x381, 24K)

You mean the rejects? Sure, the DC group doesn't know anything about what's happening up there. Though you can do it without any Tchortist knowing, not just in DC.

Who, what, and why?

Can i get that keycard to the burrower area after Gorsky leaves for Core City?

Yes. Talk to the biologist.

>tfw going into Depot A with MKIII Frags and Magnesium Grenades

Its time to roast some mutie scum.

I was same shitter who complained about game.
Dropped it on deport. But kept coming back.

double yes, the tchorists on DC know nothing of what happens upstairs so that will not be a problem, but you can also save the rejects without turning the university hostile

first you need to find the secret vent that leads to the west wing, then you need to actually go through the west wing hole, and then you need to release the rejects while causing a distraction with TNT on the other side of the map to lure the guards away so they can escape through the vents (don't forget to open the vents so you can tell the rejects to go there)

Did I just get permanently bluepilled? Why is there no timer?

Attached: drugged.jpg (1438x904, 371K)

stupid psibabby

you could also get in through the other side there is a hole that leads to the rest of the underrail, there is nothing of value there though

just use a antidote you bigbrain

just drink an antidote you brainlet, it literally says its a poison

I thought I needed the special drug that I literally never used before

You've been given a chance to start anew and repent. Take it. Become a better man.

wheres the rift location in port ceto? i can't find it

I can't really punch stuff naked can I? It's too scary. I don't want to die user.

South east area in the trap field near Katya

I opened the vent but I can't tell the rejects to head there, strange

If I don't genocide a whole faction, but do put a dent in them, does it make raids weaker, rarer, or both?

Well fuck you too.

Redpill me on Onslaught.
Does anyone with a sword build use it?
I mean 20 possible stacks sounds good but I don't see myself ever reaching that many stacks.
I feel like I'm missing way too many attacks for it to be useful even though I'm maxing melee and dex.

Attached: onslaught.png (414x215, 7K)

i think you need to pass the persuasion check but i'm not sure

Huh, I just noticed that leaving through the corner block on the black sea moves you two maps at once.

Machetes are like a psychotic, unstable girlfriend.

When she behaves and the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, bre, thats amore. You kill the entire arena without a single bump.

When she doesnt behave, you miss your 95% flurry three times on a row, realize that machetes fucking suck since knives out dps it, hammers out damage it across the board, punches are more versatile and able to also do bleed and heavy attacks, your selection of shit is bad as fuck, your abilities are really gimmicky, despite being melee you really aint shit versus good melee dudes and people you murder easy are the ones you already killed easy on any other melee build.

I already did, zoner.

then what, did you expect a feat that says "firearms" to work with your plasma pistol?

>inb4 incendiary pistol semantics

is there a jackhammer somewhere in the DC?
lots of destructible walls and I stupidly forgot to bring my own

Of fucking course.
Doesn't matter too much since I use shotties too, but that's kind of bullshit.

Yeah. You could steal Leo's, that's the fastest.

Well user, you give easy peasy ap reductions and iniciative bonuses to other pistols and they outright become fucking busted, yknow? Full dex with its ap belt can make any pistol 10 ap man, not even counting with temporal adrenaline shenanigans, thats 5 shots, 4 shots and a cooked one if you specced into it and thats a fuckload of investment into it, reducing ap on those things so easy is dangerous.

This and flurry are literally the point of using a sword
Every sword build should take it and probably spec it too
Average number of atacks hit on 95% before a miss is 13. That means onslaught is a ~37.5% damage increase, minus a bit for coming at the back end of fights. (Provided you took off balance / stun actives. You did do that right?)

Energy and Plasma don't even need something like gun nut. They were already insane with practical physicist and high technicalities just gave those builds a reason to pump int beyond better crafting.

APEX HARDCORE

-items sold are worth 10% their regular price
-carrying capacity reduced by 50%
-grenade cooldowns are increased by 1 turn
-high efficieny energy converters nerfed to regenerating x% of energy lost to damage, at y% per round
-toxic gas simply deals bio damage each round/if moved through; no damage multiplication
-using psi abilities from 1 school will put psi abilities from other schools on a 1 turn cooldown
-forcefield functions as an energy shield against ranged attacks and has a certain amount of hp against melee attacks before failing (dependent on skill)
-all npc's have 30% greater detection & trap detection (bosses have 50% greater)
-bear traps dont function if they deal no damage, stronger enemies have shorter durations, and spotted traps use your traps skill vs their dodge
-some enemies (typically knife-users) will have black dragon throwing knives/crossbow bolts, and such traps can also be found
-trap location and type is somewhat random
-enemy placement is somewhat random
-npc's that spot traps or corpses will turn orange and search the map
-if spotted, all hostile npc's on that map will never turn back to green; yellow minimum
-npc's will not enter dangerous terrain (such as gas, fire, or traps) unless they have a clear path to you
-most hostile npc's, if they can't attack you on their current turn, will instead head for cover or distance
-if you are seen entering stealth in a controlled or partially controlled map, npc's will turn hostile

>Implying I'm playin g a DEX build
I'm on a INT+PER build, I thought Gun Nut would apply to laser pistols as well so that I could stack High Technicalities and Practical Physicist, but I was wrong.
Still, doesn't matter too much given how I could still make use of pistols while I wait for good shotgun parts to be available, I snagged a 100+ quality falchion frame so I'll be able to make good use of it once I'm done with Depot A.

dumb
Id rather difficulty sliders or toggles for different stuff

ULTRA DOMINATING HARDCORE

-You start with a dog that follows you around. If it dies your save file gets deleted.

People who go that fucking trihard just to make a masochistic masturbation dificulty mode when actually untested ridiculous dificulty already exists are fucking pathetic.

We get it. We get it dude. You have over one thousand hours and cant get any enjoyent unless twelve elder rathounds are in the first quest of the game and its actively chewing your balls. But stop being retarded and giving good people bad ideas.

Attached: 1563847062622.png (371x373, 19K)

Shut the fuck up and give me an XCOM Second Wave-like option so I can pick and choose.

Waste of a feat on that build. Drop shotguns entirely and dump some STR for DEX. Also note that steadfast aim is a meme if you were planning on taking it.

Can you make an energy pistol with psi work or better with chemical pistol too? also do I need both chemistry and biology for chem pistol?

You only need chemistry and some mechanics for chem pistols. Any time you mix and match offensive skills that scale with different stats you'll likely be missing out on something that makes them shine, usually by being feat starved. It shouldn't be that noticeable on normal or easy though.

Jesus christ that sounds like the antithesis of fun. There's difficulty and then there's gutting builds while multiplying the amount of busywork and save scumming you need to do.

laser + fire guns for ambush procs and mad crits
cryo and acid to proc opportunist
psi is good for literally anyone
biology not 100% needed but there's no reason to not take it since you max chem anyway and you get the synergy, and drugs ofc

is riposte/parry combo good? Should I take it over the "trap in conbat" fest and something else like the having crits on nades?

>Drop shotguns entirely and dump some STR for DEX.
You're not the boss of me, bre, I like shotties and I'm gonna keep using them like I did before.
>steadfast aim is a meme
Never intended to waste a feat slot on it.
A Plasma gun with Execute+High technicalities+Practical Physicist coupled with the various CCs like Mental Breakdown is ridiculous, laser guns crits like no tomorrow and barely anything resists energy, you can also make electric pistols for a pocket electrokynesis that runs on batteries, couple that with a high end polarizer and things get stupid real fast.

Riposte is a single attack. Its an attack that has higher chances to hit but its 1 singular attack that depends on having melee enemies hit you and rng favoring your blocks. Weigh in how much thats trully worth user.

And parry alone? what about decapitate? I got flurry, opportunidt and cheap shots along granadier

I'll come back for you, Plasma Sentry. I'll destroy you with my bare hands... eventually.

I'll destroy everything

Attached: 20190828153717_1.jpg (1920x1080, 285K)

No
Better than nothing but not by much

If you do dex and use shit like tungsten machetes, I can see it parry being good. Decapitate is good too since you can do a lotta damage by defaault, it can be specced or a crit and you can really, really fuck up a dude by cleaving em once and decaping, since 150% damage can usualy do halfway or more of current health of most mooks. Bit harder for bosses but eh.

The perks you have are nice.

should i join praetorian
or not

im smgs

Since you're derailed enough to take gun nut with energy weapons, I thought you might be derailed enough to think steadfast aim wasn't also a waste.

Do any of the core city faction shops have shotguns?

I tried this game on release and spent like four hours killing rats or some shit.

If I play it with the new updates, am I gonna have to kill rats again or can I jump into the new content right away?

The weapon ones

Praetors are big dumb niggas who wanna be walking tanks and use guns a lot. Coretechs are enlightened bres who can do shit fine and dandy and use only the finest tech. JKK are filthy snuf film makers who love stealth and leathers.

nah, it just covers gaps in the game that allow cheesing

yeah but if i wanna infuse leather and smgs whats my faction
i cant swap once i chose?

Based HardCoretechbro

yes
or tag sneak and sneak by the rats

Parry alone is even more pointless
Decap is ok but not a priority. Kind of perk you take when you've got nothing else pressing.
You've got gud feats. Would take other util feats over decap(fancy footwork/escape artist if you've got the stats) or more help for flurry (sweep / shield bash if you're going riot gear and possibly maybe dirty kick) Aim for Crit power + Onlsaught and you're laughing.

Does decapitate works with crits? because that would mean almost one shotting people.
Guess I'm done with sword feats for now.

What happens at lvl 14 btw? I see a lot of people talk about it like it's some kind of treshold. I'm at 12 and a half.

a dex-focused riot-gear swordsman with the cutlass can make really good use of it, sure

decapitate is nice but its never vital
I like to use it when flurry is on cooldown

yes

Nope, you are pledging alegiance to a Oligarch. Pick one. If you really just want guns, Praetors are likely the best, as most leathers you can just buy off others.

praetorian?

>What happens at lvl 14 btw?
critical power

Is there any good, (free) loot at the very beginning?

I set out to the caves without buying any gear, but i think that was a mistake. And I didn't pass the skill check for a better pistol or shotty.

14/16 is crit power / onslaught
Two massive power spikes

will i be missing any unique vendors

Yeah, drop by the Agronomy and Pens. Those flares are gonna save your life.
And in the future, make sure to talk to everyone you can before fucking off into caves or what-not.

apparently this hasn't caught on yet, but you can switch to captains cutlass on the end of your turn and stack up 3 ripostes (easily done with parry+guard+shield)

once it's your turn, switch to a better sword (RED DRAGON) and fire those three 0 AP attacks off

just a shame there's nothing protecting you from ranged attacks so high electronics is even more important than usually

Every Oligarch has a special shop but none of them are ultimately crucial or sell anything unique, they are just high tier vendors. If you helped Abram and Jack, youl have access to a better one.

Any strategy for Carnifex on dominating?

intiative food and F9 until you get first turn

Whats your build? Basically chain cc him or get out of combat and trap the bridges, or just tank him if you're that kind of nigga

Sure but then i still have to actually kill him.

Decapitate is a true feelgood feat.

Attached: warm and fuzzy.png (294x255, 92K)

Well fuck me sideways
Is it any gud? How often are you getting all the free attacks?

I've posted my shotgun like 4 times in this thread and every time got
>Why did you get a tube extension

BECAUSE THE ONLY SHELL BELT I SAW MY ENTIRE RUN WAS IN THE GAUNTLET

Shotgun

Crawler caltrops
Molotovs
Flashbangs
Clean your asshole beforehand so he can pound you easier
Riot armor, shield preferable but non essential or metal armor
Traps, if you can use em
Critical the fuck out of him
Taser
Gas him

>Enter new room in some random cave
>user enters combat. Initiative 4 + 20 - 69 = 0
>Death Stalker uses Sting!
>F9

I thought those guys sucked on normal, then I play hard. On Hard mode the AI seems much more aggressive in terms of checking up on noises, so often when you kill one Death Stalker/Crawler the entire fucking cave of them decides to show up at your doorstep next. My favorite is when I kill a Stalker, walk out of the room to wait for the debuff to wear off and to heal, and then when I zone in I immediately enter combat against like 5 more of the fuckers.

Even my 10 Perception character with detection goggles could not see the fuckers before they hit me.

Attached: 1549698912567.jpg (568x518, 60K)

yeah root soda, heartbreaker armor

The *best* thing, non-psi, is a napalm grenade, but QT + crawler bear trap, crawler caltrops, taser, flashbang + net, anything to get his dodge/evasion down to zero and proc opportunist

wear your best anti-melee armor
try to maximize your DT

i helped both but jack is drunk and tells me to fukk off
and i havent found abram im core city

does bio damage protection protect me from acid?

Well flashbang/net/taser/molotov etc him and pump him full of lead

Bre even without a Shell Belt it'd be stupid as hell to give up on a Foregrip. I'd know, I use a Lifting Belt 90% of the time.

Abram is on the floor you can access from Hardcore city bar. Talk to him then jack, assuming you didnt fuck up hardcore.
Completely different kind of protection. Use your brains, kill some frogs or acid dogs and wear their skin.

always if it's 2 or more melee opponents

build is dominating viable

what I do in typical fights is flashbang the ranged guys, let the melees hit me, Sprint over to the gunners and finish them first with all the free attacks

only real problem is rushing the captains cutlass

acid dogs are the problem, you condescending fuck
their biology created the acid so i assumed it's biological

1/10

Eh. I feel like not enough people go into the shield bash spec. My Shield Bash often one shots enemies on Dominating, and it costs 0 AP and has a 1 turn cool down. With TM/Adrenaline/Sprint I'm able to generally kill 2-4 guys a round and Shield Bash is a huge part of that. Shield Bash also dazes, which is great, and combined with Carving you can really reduce any bosses AP by enough that kiting becomes pretty trivial.

You can do Shield Bash with Spears, but Spears are super slow and I feel like on Hard or Dominating you really just need to kill as many people in one turn as you can. Also all of the buffs you're getting from swords (including crit damage/chance) stacks with Shield Bash. I've crit with shield bash for well over 1k.

Well, if you rush the Captain's Cutlass you can also rush Red Dragon which is sweet. Those two are pretty much your best in slot swords (except maybe bleed sword if you're gonna go for bleed perks).

user. Bio damage is not acid. Acid is not venom or puke. Acid is acid, the shit that melts your face and makes you into a puddle, not the shit you put on caltrops.

Now, if youl stop trying to insult those that are trying to help you, listen. South entrance of Junkyard. Go left as much as you can then north. Find a frog, kill it, make boots and armor from its hide, its got acid protection. Maybe it also has a cup holder to gently hold whats missing between your legs you fucking pipeworker.
Dominating is not my style and I was relaying my experiences from Hard melee. Machetes are seriously boring and to be quite honest, it feels like you are just getting carried by the hunk of tungsten, not the machete Jubi

buy some molotovs and flares, buy haxxor and batteries (if you have hacking), lockpicks (if you have lockpicking)
there is a ""free"" smg but its quite far from sgs so its better if you explore it on your own, if you use your flares you should be completely fine with the pistol you get at the start, but after the first quest you propably should look into getting something better that aligns with your build

>Now, if youl stop trying to insult those that are trying to help you
nuh-uh
i'll blow them all to high heavens without your help

I find Machetes to be the most fun melee spec, but that is just my opinion. I am a critfag so I love seeing the juicy crit numbers as Swords/Machetes are by far the biggest critting melee weapons. It is all up to personal preference though. I do wish Styg would make it so melee attacks could get up to 100%, at least on stunned targets or something. If he did I think it would fundamentally fix most of Machete's problems.

what do I miss out of DLC if I just ride jetski into black sea and join the pirates?
Already went full aegis on my last run

theres no abram here
only "ethan"
and none of the rooms on floor 2 had any abrams in them

Are steel plates the only way to make bear traps? Seems a bit excessive. I know I can just buy them for cheap, I'm just surprised there doesn't seem to be a easy way to just make them.

While you were getting bullied by rat doggos, acid doggos, a bunch of fucking locusts and general lack of spatial awareness, Camp Hathor was living the DOMINATING life nonstop. Why is this place so hardcore?

Attached: pig boss.jpg (1500x5441, 1.18M)

It is the same shit for Caltrops too. They should be able to use scrap. Makes no sense to take this giant, 20 pound hunk of steel and turn it into a handful of caltrops. Seems like so much effort.

root soda if your initiative sucks, most stuns dont work on him so forget about your taser, the only cc that really works against him are flashbangs and fear from molotovs, but mostly try to abuse his ai where if you throw caltrops and mollies on the right bridge he will try to use the left one

Abram has three quests in Junkyard. Well, technically two IN Junkyard and one slightly outside it. He won't move to Core City until you do all three.

smartphones that are being decoded by that x nerd

Which of the PSI trees would complement a melee knife stealth build the best? There's a lot of good stuff in all 4 of them but I don't want to spread myself too thin.

>I find Machetes to be the most fun melee spec
me too
I'm having a blast

I haven't used stealth much. If I enter a new map stealthed, do I stay in stealth in the new map?

Temporal Manipulation has an overpowered as fuck skill that you get at 55.

Yes

If I have a skill with 1 turn cool down and I use the TM ability to reduce my cool downs by one, can I use it again the same turn?

You fucked up hardcore then.
>make chete
>straight and curved one
>try and do crits but straight just does more damage overall
>level up my crafting but Hathor straight up gives me a better iron straight than my tungsten one
>try and do Beast
>its a slog
>say fuck it and go elsewhere
>either decimate without an issue or get utterly screwed
>miss miss miss miss miss on constant 95's
>somehow hit on 34s and dunk on Invictus tho
>entire build is catered around shields and shit but 99% of people still just shoot me so a tac vest would be infinitely better
>too bored to even get to expedition far, get to the basalt caves and agriculture and just drop it
More power to you. Machetes fucking suck for me and are way less fun that knife, unarmed or god forbid, tincan sledgeman

Attached: 1554745561124.gif (216x150, 1.98M)

temporal manipulation on 55 (for Contraction, Increment and Dilation) also take psychotemporal acceleration feat to make contraction even more op and 25 psychosis for the most op skill in the game forcefield also 25 metathermics for Pyrokinesis is kind of nice as its very nice and cheap way to deal with traps

machetes suck

katanas on the other hand...

Attached: pssssh.png (539x378, 299K)

I'm doing a TC/machete man, fear and mental breakdown is doing a lot of the work for me. I have to stealth past every robot though.

I also dabbled in TM but it felt wasteful

machetes dont suck, katanas just broken OP

honestly, taser + opportunist + expose weakness + energy/electric machete kills robots just fine

I did the x4 naga fight with a sword guy no problem; just needed some emps

do I still participate in the professor's abduction?

How bad is the accuracy penalty on Rapid Fire perk? Is it more accurate than legit burst?

hes not even at the bar in junkyard
ive planted the bug and thats it

they fucking learn to ride burrowers in the endings where you don't clear the mine

CRAAAAAAAAWLING IN MY SKIIIIIIIIIN THESE WOUNDS THEY WIIIIIIIIIILLL NOT HEAAAAAAAAAL FEAR IS HOW I FAAAAAAAAAAL CONFUSING WHAT IS REAAAAAAAAAL

nvm found abram outside junkyard

It's great if you're using a .44 and are in point blank range.

You sold me on it. Fuck spec ops, fuck full auto, I'll be using the starting .44 hammerer even longer.

They what now? These people are too strong. They're a bigger danger to SGS than the Protectorate.

if you dont go with the aegis on the expedition, abduction still happens but earlier and offscreen

What's a good stopping point for Throwing if you just use it for grenades/molotovs?

50 60 effective unless you wanna go full hog on grenadier and three pointer.

Does Defense/Evasion even do anything? I swear I could be standing in the darkest corner of the room possible with 200 in both of them and the jackass with a Crossbow will still hit me with 100% accurate stun shots

>Build a char with low per and no traps
This was a mistake.

where do I sign up?

You anons do keep a collection of the unique weapons you find, right?

Attached: 32155.png (2560x1440, 1.95M)

Just hit level 10 on my knife stealth character. Which first of these bunch of nice looking skills?

Attached: a75dda747c31c54f892a6b520f47984b.png (437x200, 7K)

In that same exact locker too, yeah. Downright dominating, bre.

Of course. Make sure to unload all your weapons.

that's what the shelf in your SGS room is for, user
severed heads and brains in jars too

You wanna use bleeds and be a motherfucker with 50% extra damage? Taste.
You wanna be able to shank a tincan or a dreadnaught to death? Expose
You wanna stealth assasinate people? Cutthroat
Uhhhhh, ripper.

Cut throat lets you delete humans from stealth.
Ripper is a big buff to your crits.
You don't need expose weakness yet.
Taste for blood is strong but situational.

I also make sure to fully repair the weapon before I add it to the collection

Cut-throat will make you the king of assassination and Arena will be super easy

>Gunslinger
Sure does feel great to win initiative 95% of the time.

Core City House > SGS room.

>literally run out of ammunition but managed to make do to open the exit shortcut
>a fucking naga with 1000 hp which resist fucking everything turned on.

I legit think stygy is balancing this game as if we had a four party;

The spider cave is some shit, I agree there, but you can just run away from the Naga. It looks scary (and cool), but, same as everything Lemurian, it's all looks.

Thanks user, now to explore the obviously cooler and more expanse pirate faction with my piece of shit stealth sword dude on a stealth-less, sword-unable junk jet

Is it worth it to spend 3000 charons to get some Super Steel Fiber so i can craft an infused ancient rathound leather armor? It really seems expensive to me

a lot of people jerk off about q160 endgame builds but midgame and early game is just as important. 3000 gold spent today is worth much more than 3000 gold spent on the last 4 hours of your game.
Get a decent quality (q90) infused leather and it will carry you through your hardest times my friend.

Absolutely. Just think about it this way - what else are you gonna spend those charons on? All other crafting materials are cheap as shit, even when they hit 140q.

>what else are you gonna spend those charons on?
Furnishing a house, of course.

That's why I love acid pistols
Strongmen and Handmaidens cannot handle my pH

Zoner!

Wish we could skip the main game to do expedition, having to endure default is kinda annoying now. i'm really sick of core city and eveyrthing else. Maybe i will just try exp run next time

Well, yeah, that's nice, but the house can wait. Your survival is more important than putting up a girly poster in your toilet.

Ok thanks. How long am i supposed to wait to get that steel from Bernard?

30 min

I wouldn't craft rathound btw, either buy greater infusioner leather from expedition( i think camp hathor sells it too). Cold is the least less relevant resist in the game. i can't even think of anything that inflicts aside from some rare lunatics tossing ice on you

>that one dog in junkyard
SHUT UP YOU POOPWORKER!

Attached: 4f797128268a6e36af8e0c6ccd0e9a788a26b81d97eb691d5d34a103e8d0c2bf.gif (288x278, 252K)

You craft it for the crit chance, nott the cold resist bre

just depends on builds

infused stuff is great

...

How the fuck do the expedition run out of supplies?? Can't the fucks just restock from core city?

What are the best Tabis I can get? I am talking Infused stuff here.

Simphoner for best movement speed

Infused pig for you

depends on what you want
if you want the highest numbers, you need the highest q leathers, which is going to be some random drop in the tribal villages
used to be ancient rathound leather

siphoner gives immunity to slows and a boost to dodge/evasion, as well as some acid/heat resist
leper gives immunity to "off balance"
cave hopper gives sprint cooldown reduction
etc

not true

I'm honestly not sure which I want most. I am a Sword and Board character. Movement speed really helps, but I don't know if any of them give more movement speed than others.

If I want to be an edgy unarmed ninja using stealth, fists, (and maybe the occassional knife for execute) and traps, should I be pumping dex or strength on level up?

They spent all their money buying gifts for Yahota

>Minefield
Is it different if you don't pump intelligence? I can't imagine having trouble with that.

I killed him anyway. Fuck savages.

I just told you, the highest quality gives the highest speed.

if unarmed you mean bare fists, then go with max strength and 9 or 10 dex

>no way to make human leather
oversight

What skills and feats should I just completely avoid because they are either noob traps or simply don't work?

dirty kick

there aren't any true trap feats or noob traps

Some aren't very good, like clothier; about half of the crafting feats are questionable. I personally think doctor is a waste. That's pretty much it.

dirty kick is great

>dirty kick is great

>Craft taser
>Saves a feat slot and gets something that's more versatile and works on far more enemies
Nothing personnel, kid.

taser has a 3 or 4 round cooldown
whatcha gonna do if there are two enemies, or they resist the taser?

also dirty kick does good damage

I guess it depends on how stealthy you want to be, heavy armor penalties mean you lose out on stealth big time.

what am i getting myself into

They are trying to summon Styg

>it's actually, physically impossible to get back to your stuff because you'll take a -1000 initiative penalty on area transition and eat half a dozen rocks
>get back to your stuff
what

nah, use that for stuff where quality doesnt matter, like loot boots

I would appreciate this feature desu
along with cooking

He's right tho

anybody wearing the new sea serpent armors as their main armor?

Especially sea wyrm; I'm interested to hear about that if so.

He's dominating

>doing junkyard war quest
>completely pot luck if Silas lives or die because of the enemy sniper right at the start who leads off with Aimed Shot
kill me bros...

I love the look of them. I skip out on the stealth bonus from a black cloth or kevlar cloth so that shitty vanilla armor doesn't show

they have their own unique overcoat appearance
that pic is actually what a stealthy or kevlar leper armor would look like

give me the QRD on this...Is it metro turned into classic fallout or it's own beast entirely?

For an SMG build how many of you have done full on 18 dex for 8 AP 5mm bursts with full auto? Was it good?

Dirty kick is five fucking rounds of cooldown. You could infuse tabis to get it down but it's still a waste.

Sea wyrm is way too freaking heavy and looks super gaudy.

doesnt matter if it helps you stun several people before murdering them over a couple rounds

Own beast entirely. It's like Metro + Fallout mixed with cyberpunk, magic, psychic powers and otherwordly beings. It's a combat and exploration heavy cRPG with an interesting world and story.

It's a warcrime simulator.

you look like neon shredder
it's awesome

Where is the slimy tablet? I've been searching for hours

do you wear it with red dragon?

in the fetid marsh, behind a secret entrance you need high perception to notice

I dont wear it
but that would beCRAAAAAWLLLLIIIINNNNG

What's your record Al Fabet distance?
I usually end up doing the overencumbered waddle back to Foundry from the Ironheads base with their good gear

I dunno but probably not very far. If I can't make it with strength food + belt, then it's usually faster to just take the shit then come back for the rest. And if I'm coming back, then it's often worth it to just drop heavy things I carry around always like my jackhammer to free up more space.

Is the unique shotgun in expedition any good?

>Tfw perceptionlet
Leave it to Stygg to gatekeep me from useless secrets.
