Honestly if they gave resources so people can actually make unique community servers and game modes the game will rocket back up to a stable count. Then they can start shilling their hats/skins if they want to go the TF2 route. People forget TF2 has been stable at like 40k for years and no updates thanks to communities.

I'm not so sure even mod tools at this point can save this game. The community is nothing but autists and compfags at this point. We'll see if this latest patch can save the game but even this patch has one new map and some balance changes. Thats it after two months of work. Absolutely pathetic.
I know mod tools at release would've cemented this game as a long-time contender but they chose instead to cater to the comp players and focus on that. Again, retarded devs.
