>Death Stranding
Directed by Hideo Kojima

Style over substance: the games

All of these “games” (rather cinematic experiences or walking simulators) are easily beaten by pressing the same button over and over again with no regard to timing, strategy, precision, etc.

Monster Hunter World
it's babby's first MH pandering to generic action game fags and only exploded in popularity because of that

Resident Evil
Because it sucks

Bloodborne
Piss easy when you stock up on items, preperation pays off more than practice

ur favorite game becas it's poo poo

fpbp every kojima game ever made has been vastly overrated by his shit-eating fanboys. The only decent game in the entire Metal Gear franchise was the one that he had no input on, Revengeance.

Undertale
not a bad game but hyped to oblivion like it was something groundbreaking.

Dumb normalfags

Politics aside, this game should never be close to being discussed as one of the greatest game in this generation. I don't think I need to discuss the gameplay problems, but the story & characters are so overrated when it is a spoof of the walking dead. I think alot of the love of the game was tied to the zombie craze for the time and the sequel is going to be a test of if the trend is still around.

The Last of Us
I know Yea Forums shits on this game constantly because Druckmann is an SJW cunt but I don't think the game is bad it's a slightly above average enjoyable game
What pisses me off the most is people saying it's one of the best games of all time or the best Sony exclusive and that the story is incredible
Do these people watch only TBBT and Family Guy? The story was extremely predictable and people who have in their lives seen at least 10 movies or TV shows saw every plot twist from miles away
I think people loved it because it was the closest thing to Resident Evil 4 since Resident Evil 4 and game journalists shilled that game so much normies convinced themselves they think it's one of the best games of all time because they felt like it was the majority opinion

Gothic 1 and 2.

It's amazing how a developer set up an interesting setting twice, only to completely blow it by chapter 2 both times.

>"game journalists shilled that game so much normies convinced themselves they think it's one of the best games of all time because they felt like it was the majority opinion"

The exact same could be said of YOUR favorite game.

The Last Of Us
Because it's good, but not that good.

What does «overrated» even mean ?
The purpose of a game is to be entertaining. And if the majority of people were having fun with the game, it has accomplished its goal and therefore, it is objectively a great game, whatever what the incel elitists have to say about it.
And if you think that vidya (and any other work of fiction ) have any legitimate function other than entertainment, congratulations, you’re a brainlet.

name 1 game this doesn't apply

Touhou Project. Not even a real game lmao.

Devil May Cry
I'm doing a playthrough of the series for the first time and I'm almost done with DMC4 already. With how many people seem to be salivating over these games, I was really expecting more. Really, I was expecting at least SOMETHING interesting about them, but now I'm legitimately puzzled as to how they came to have such a following. Between the damage-sponge enemies, drab environments, back-tracking and 3/4ths of the boss fights packing no punch whatsoever (and repeating boss fights, on top of that), I honestly struggle to find things about these games that would make them stand out in a positive way.

Castlevania doesn't belong there

every Mario game ever
i don't get why are adults obsessing over games geared towards prepubescents

Nier Automata
God of War (PS4)
The Witcher 3
GTA V

Yup. Very overrated.

Entertainment is subjective though, vidya can't be objectively good
