Wikipedia has "19XX in Gaming" for every year that vidya has existed. If the game is something popular, it's there. If it's not you know the release year anyway because it's literally your GOTY for its respective year

I'm genuinely curious as to how you could possibly prefer Far Cry 5 to 4 let alone Blood Dragon. To me every part of 5 was unbearable

Hey, I hate all Metal Gear games but I still think that one with stealth mechanics exceeding the standards of the 1980's is "the best" Metal Gear game. But I suppose it's a matter of opinion whether or not you think the least bad something could be considered the best something.

Wikipedia says there were two games that are the first in their series with initials S.C released in 1999 one of which is an undivided combination word so it makes less sense to abbreviate. And there were no games that are the first or only in their series with initials M.M released in 2000. If those lists don't know what you're talking about, then you'd be retarded to assume that abbreviation of it would be universally recognizable.
