I actually like the game, but shitposting about New Vegas is the best way to get a lot of (You)s.

Dead Money is pretty fun. It has great story and locations, adds some variety to combat, and has great replayability.
Honest Hearts is weird one. I feel like "Father" story is actually main story of DLC, and tribal shuffling is only an excuse to walk around finding caves he hid in. Although it also packs best visuals and one great character, it falls short in gameplay aspects ("Survival or bust"), and main quest is "eh", except for putting White Legs down.
Old World Blues is bit too extreme in things it does, story and gameplay-wise. And despite big open map, replayability is next to 0 thanks to scaling. I also feel like it's least roleplay-compatible DLC of the bunch. That said, it can be funny - I wish it had more bickering between scientists and more main quest stages, so there could be more Dr. Mobius bullshit to hear.
Lonesome Road is worst, honestly. It should have been reduced in size and sped up, so final part wouldn't feel like "God fucking damn it we are finally done with this". And of course, actual meeting with Ulysses is way too weak for amount of build-up he received during the course of main game and other DLCs.

This but it also recycles assets and stuff from FO3 which is just plain lazy. Then they ask full price from a game that should be at most like a 15$ DLC/Expansion when you consider the quality of the content inside it.
But most saddening thing is indeed that it tries to larp a RPG and pew pew shooter at the same time, but only does mediocre job at both
Voice acting ranges from horrible to okay and graphics have dated horribly. The engine, which is of course recycled from FO3 because Obsidian is lazy ass company, is hella dated and bug-filled mess. So you are left with a game that has at most tolerable story, bad graphics, bad engine, glitched and broken gameplay, mediocre shooting, average RPG elements, decent voice acting and decent story.
Can't give it more than a 3-4/10. Of course if you are fan of Fallout you could enjoy it. I just think it doesn't hold a candle to FO1 or 2.

Also Obsidian was under AAA-studio and had the engine and resources straight out the bat. Only thing I could imagine taking time was getting voice actors, writing and such. But code and assets were already there.
