Performance mode is just 30 without drops. But resolution mode doesn't drop much anyway so there's no real difference. You can still tell the difference the moment you switch from any other game which runs at 60.

No, it's you who has godawful taste. Persona 5 is literally, the best game ever made. I know it's stretch of words, but the amount of soul, style, and gameplay they put into it, filled with love and care is blue moon rare. And, they are literally making it even better. I've beaten SMT4, and while it is also an amazing, fantastic game with an amazing soundtrack and atmosphere, it's not quite the Persona 5 quality.

At this point if you don't own a ps4 then either go with the pro or keep holding out for ps5 with backwards compat and hopefully sony doesn't fuck that up. only reason to get a base ps4 or a slim is if you can find a deal for under $200 with game and you have 0 care for graphics being even marginally better and smoother frame rate
