These Grand Prix seem to lack focus. We could have had legendary skins for other characters based on Spyro but when get mind over mutant stuff? that would have been much more suitable for its on GP along with other things related to the titan control games. The first GP only seems to be the one that did it right. It was all about the nitro stuff so you got racer skins for all the new characters and crunch which was nice. The Back in Time one could been better if it was entirely about caveman stuff but they tagged the babies to it for some reason instead of having a baby theme GP.

All the great stuff in this game is overshadowed by the stink of incompetency.

It's so weird that Crunch and Coco had two different designs between the two Mutants games. It's almost like the creators themselves had no clue what to do with the characters.

I think the main issue is item box placement, Twilight Tour didn't have the cluster fuck issue seen on tracks like Papus Pyramid or Prehistoric Playground. There is a massive pileup 9/10 on these tracks because the item boxes are placed so close to the staring line, Twilight Tour didn't have this issue because there was a nice distance for the racers to spread out a bit first.

The downtime between GP's is actually the best time to play CTR.

Brio doesn't really have a location that suits him that isn't already in the game. Cortex Castle and N. Gin labs both have the castle and lab themes covered, and Sewer Speedway even uses his blobs.

To me, it thematically makes more sense to put all the 3 Crash 1 characters in the same GP, than putting 2 Crash 1 characters and one random Nitro kart character.
