it's a physics based puzzle platformer that's pretty decent. Don't let reviews fool you though, for some reason people call it a metroidvania when it's just hub and level based. There's technically some optional paths and exploring but overall its pretty much linear.
Also the story is about time travel, so take that as you will.

Huh, sounds like a solid "get it on sale" game.

you'd think after all these years they would make one for the 3DS or wii U given all the motion controls. But if they didn't make it for those consoles I don't think they ever will make a sequel.

Someone asked them about it a while ago, and iirc the answer was something along the lines of “back in the day you needed a dedicated camera to take photos so it was kinda novel, but now anyone can take a photo at any time with phones so it’s boring so we don’t think anyone would care if we made a new one.”

I really never played this characters game but she looks more interesting than Tronne Bonne and less cancerous than Tracer

She's the daughter of a single dad, who happens to be the leader of a gang of thieves. At the start of the game, he got taken out, and your dead mom's gem got stolen. Hijinx ensue as you try to get it back, as well as get more treasure.
Your drill tank thing goes through gears like a motherfucker, so every level starts with you with only one speed, but you pick up two others in the level, leading to one of the hypest music (for a GBA game) for the rest of the level

Such a shame even her assist was cut. Jill is perfect fodder for a revival or cameos. Its one of the few "Nintendo" esque games that Nintendo didn't make but absolutely belongs in their usual catalog of releases and sequels
