ive had one similar to that. it just felt like a zelda dungeon that was a never ending maze

It was 3D DFO but Project BBQ's got me covered now.

OK, I remember having this one super young but it was so stylistic yet memorable.

I dream about wierd structures like in those lonely and otherworldly vidya threads that used to get spammed. Wish I could recreate the feeling, there's a lot of water in them too

the main character was in a platforming temple level where you got an ancient artifact that fucked with gravity. you could also swing from ropes and shit and mess with the direction of fire and heat with warped gravity while hopping around.
you had to manually control the direction of gravity, it wasn't automatic like mario galaxy

I actually had a dream last night about the fourth smash DLC character being revealed, I can't remember who it was that got revealed but they caused such an uproar in my dream that the pure anger from the dream people caused me to wake up.

I had a dream I was stabbed in a subway and just stumbled out of the open door into the station not knowing what to do. I've never even ridden on a subway.

I once got shot and throw off a cruise liner in a dream

One time I found a manual for a Super Famicom tennis rpg called Shooting Stars Tennis that was full of 80s styled shojo anime girls in tennis uniforms, and an illustrated list of the different rackets and outfits you could equip. It looked really cute but I couldn't find the cartridge before I woke up.

It was so vivid and random, to this day I have no idea where that fucking dream came from.

kek it's funny how your brain fucks you over in dreams like that. once in a dream I was in my garage and found my old NES and a bunch of games, which I didn't have since our dad just got rid of it all one day. bummed me out when I woke up and realized it wasn't real.

Does anyone else notice any frequent inconsistencies in dreams?
I always notice by the end that fictional characters that have no business being in the same room together happens too regularly, as well as math not making any sense or words not being legible to read.

Anyone else also dream of the exact same location and dream the same thing multiple times? I started keeping a dream journal to record this shit before I forgot any but specifically remember a number of them

Fuck man, I haven't had a lucid dream in a long time, I really need to have one again.

I don't think i've ever had the same dream but I have had dreams in the same location a few times but mainly the reoccuring thing in my dreams is either zombies, sex or something about an upcoming game.

It was a JRPG where the hero betrays the Gods and fights the Devils in order to bring peace to the human and demon races, swearing that mortal lives should not be used as their eternal chess battle of good vs evil, the hero marries the demon queen and their child is the protagonist of the next game

not reading properly in dreams is very common, its because of how the dream process occurs in the brain, I dont remember where I heard it but it blew my mind

Dreamt that I had to stop a yandere from getting us both killed because she didn't tell me she didn't have a driving licence and she was refusing to stop the car. She had also hospitalised someone I was going to have a meeting with just so I would have my schedule free. We also held hands before getting in the car.

A fun thing I’ve always done is tell people they’re not real and this is just a Dream. It’s hilarious watching a normal person or dream villain break down when you pull out the trump card

Has anybody ever woken themself up from inside a dream? Like your dreaming and then remember "Oh shit, I need to wake up early." and just decide to wake up?

Then I wake up in another dream's dream and then woke up properly after that. That particular morning was confusing as fuck

One time I tried to wake up and I just couldn't
i tried screaming, but I was just screaming in the dream. and I couldn't feel my actual body.

I’m not aware of it in my dreams, but I naturally wake up 3 minutes before my alarm goes off. I could alter my alarm to be an hour later or an hour earlier and I’ll still wake up 3 minutes before. It is the weirdest thing

when I have a day off, I sleep way more than 8 even if I wasn't tired the day before. I need more sleep than society demands

Pokemon-ish adventure where there was a huge port city with tons of ships and you could enter all of them and they were huge inside, all with GBC graphics.
There were some fuckhuge forests too with trees that dropped apples on your head and you took damage (?)

A while ago I dreamed about a moody game set in the city with 2 main characters, one was a depressed dude and the other was an angry vampire chick

I also had another dream where I decided, against my better judgement, to play Overwatch again. One of the characters they added was 3 aliens you controlled at once, another was a fat lady with a blunderbuss

god yes, I found this secret world in donkey kong country that was like this cloud world in the sky that was half water levels because it had so much vapor in it

I've never felt more pathetic than when I woke up from a dream where I fell in love with a girl and was developing a serious relationship with her

There's not a lot of things that I call bizarre, but the fact that it's possible to have a dream within a dream is definitely one.

One thing I've noticed is if I'm playing a gamr or watching a movie or something in a dream eventually I will be IN the game/movie/show whatever

this, the only real solution i found was slamming myself into walls in my dream to wake myself up
if you start seeing your surroundings IRL while doing this, you're getting close to waking up

in mine there was a shooting going on and a bunch of us were hiding in a stairwell or something and I decided to just fucking run for it, then when I ran out it transformed into my backyard, but I was running so fast that I literally woke up from my heart pounding so hard and had to take a few minutes to calm down.

you're not supposed to turn on light switches properly in dreams, but from sheer willpower I made one work one time, was pretty awesome. felt like fucking neo. it's funny how many dreams I have where I try dozens of times to turn the light on but it won't work, I think because when I was younger I had a light switch in my room that wouldn't turn on if you didn't do it the right way, if not it would be the perfect signal that I'm in a dream. my current light switch has a spring so snappy you barely have to touch it to get it to switch on.
