The typing programs in my computer lab classes were way worse than Mavis Beacon, we had Mavis Beacon at home because my mother wanted to learn typing and it was actually enjoyable with nice music, taught me typing before I had to learn it in school so I was already a master, blew through the required stuff in minutes and got to spend the rest of my time playing SimTower because they had real games for us as a reward for finishing fast.
