That's all fine and dandy, but how does that improve my gameplay experience? Her only impact is being Ms. "look at me I'm so amazing, I'm holding back ganon" which in gameplay terms means that she's a useless bitch.

Have you tried A Robot Named Fight? It's a 2D roguelike metroidvania, and I definitely enjoyed it. I dunno if it's on the Switch yet, but it's worth it for me.

So why is she in the game? If she's useless and literally only exists because the story says so, she might as well not exist. And as Link's Awakening demonstrates, you don't need Zelda for it to be a zelda game. Majora's Mask proved that point too. And so did both Oracle games as a matter of fact, provided you didn't link them.

Imagine my shock when I go into a zelda thread to discuss my hopes for BOTW2, only to find degenerates talking about how much they want to sniff Zelda's farts, or how they want to do her doggy style or see her BLACK'D. I've had many a good gameplay discussion derailed because of it, and it only made me hate her more because her presence actively hampers gameplay discussion.

Key word being variety. Even if you could argue that farts are vidya discussion, why derail and shit on other discussions that are more related to the gameplay? Every single occasion I've tried to talk about BOTW resulted in two conclusions:

>turned into a console war with obnoxious fanboys raging back and forth
or
>discussion completely shifted to porn dumps and fart discussion

And I'd be shat on as a "snoy tranny" if I tried talking about the GAMEPLAY. Even if I had nothing negative to say, NOT participating in the porn dump was seen as shitposting.

I might consider the lite when nintendo implements something to let me share saves between systems though i usually only play games in situations where the size of the lite wouldnt be any more beneficial then portable mode. im not gonna get the revision since battery life isnt enough to put down that kinda cash for a what is pretty much the same system but if a pro version or something that has some significant upgrades like the N3DS did to the 3DS then probably

So I finally bought a Switch a few weeks ago. Is it normal that my joycons wiggle a bit frontwards and backwards towards the bottom of the joycons?

yeah, come to think of it, that is true. Not only skipping scenes, but you can literally skip the whole game and go straight to the final boss if you're good enough.

I am hoping for Rare Replay to come to the Switch because its been forever since I played Tooie, and all the N64 emulators suck shit, and I don't want to have to buy a N64 or a Xbox One to play it.

Anyone here played Overcooked 2? It's on sale for $15 AUD on switch store and I've been looking for a fun multiplayer game to jam with the mrs and our mates (getting bored of mario party)

Switch games are always expensive as fuck compared to general steam/other console prices. Best place to get new games is amazon or you can wait for sales on the Nintendo store if there's a particular game that interests you but you're happy to wait put it on your wish list

I could and I was tempted to pick up something from the Capcom sale. Just Got MM11 and was looking at Remake or RE4 or that. I've played all of them already though. Or rather just Gen on the 3DS. Never got super far though. I'm a little worried they'll finally announce MH5 Portable though.

That depends on if you have steam or not really, seeing as you only mentioned Triple-A titles SSBU is an obvious choice. But there is a good selection of indie games that are on sale almost every week.

It's hard to explain in writting but like they wiggle frontward and backwards like they're loose. They lock into place no problem but then they just feel a little loose.

oh, you mean when they're connected to the Switch. I don't think having them move like that is good, the click is supposed to lock them into place firmly. I doubt it's anything serious though, as long as they're not at risk of sliding off the thing entirely when its in handheld mode.
