Give me one reason why women in games should be attractive. Whenever someone makes waifu shit, it always detracts from the gameplay and the fandom happily accepts anti-consumer practices and cut corners because they want more of their waifu.
WIth a purposely ugly protag, the game can no longer get away with these things, and has to actually be good.
