Besides, it was more like the reverse, Jon didn't make BK popular, BK made Jon popular. Jon's popularity didn't take off until he made a video of Banjo-Kazooie. He's like that puppet Youtuber with Paper Mario, all of his fame came from making a statement about something that everyone else was already thinking but no one had put to video yet. Banjo-Kazooie was popular and highly requested in Smash circles way before Jontron vouched for them.
