Into Free was perfect. Sets up the tongue-in-cheek edgy post-watershed anime tone perfectly. I kind of want Dragon's Dogma 2 to double down on the self aware cheesiness. Maybe have a completely new setting entirely, Xeno style. Or just release the game again including everything that was cut.

I hate that fucking radio. People might not know but in the original release of Portal you didn't hear that annoying fucking jingle through all of them fucking chambers and you were only cuddled by the game's amazing atmospheric OST. Which is reduced to background noise when you have this stupid radio laying around everywhere because muh ARG. Since the game is over, at least put an option to fucking disable this shit and put the game back to vanilla state.

Valve saw all the cake memes being spawned from the first game and went overdrive trying to recreate that magic in Portal 2. PotatOS, as well as Wheatley and Cave Johnson's entire characterization are examples of this. Also, Aperture Science feels much more alive once you get to see into all its guts and inner workings. It doesn't feel cold, dead, and isolated like the first game. 2 is a very enjoyable game with some good puzzles, but it fails to capture quite the same ambiance and atmosphere of 1.

Legit hate this soundtrack and how much people sperg over it. It's unique - no question - but it's not good. It doesn't compliment the action in the game. It's not aesthetically pleasant. It's not musically interesting. It's a laudable mess that stands out only by virtue of its divergence.

For an example of something that both stands out and isn't garbage and is an RPG contemporary of Evergrace, MOON: Remix RPG is perfect.
