Lloyd Irving is a lock because of the mii swordfighter century smash glitch theory, and his mii costume was cut in base game, if you think that Joker or Hero are based mii swordfighter, you are wrong, the hero was based off Link (they both share the same sound effect and had some similar moves) and Joker may be based off Cloud or a FE character, and also the Japanese just ignore the west's hate about anime swordsmen as playables.
Sylux and Porky are the most likely characters to be fighters because they are both missing a spirit, and they didn't appear in any of their franchises' spirit event, Sylux is very likely to be the final fighter of the fighters pass because he can serve as a advert for Metroid Prime 4 and Porky will be a standalone DLC fighter just for fanservice in Japan
Go have a rant about these characters getting in as playables over projectile spammy characters like Tracer from Overwatch and Doomguy from doom.
Also, I don't know about what ties in with the starling leak, if it is smash related, its likely Decidueye as a standalone DLC fighter.
Sylux is such a meme, literally no one cares about him. It was hard enough for Ridley to get in even though he was the second most important Metroid character after Samus. They're not adding any more Metroid characters anytime soon. Porky has a marginally higher chance but Mother is a dead franchise Lloyd is ???, depends on Sakurai bias, but I don't see his chances being higher than any other potential third party character.

I mean, the only thing we know about this asshole is that he despises with such a passion Samus and the Federation, but then? Fucking nothing. Prime 4 marketing will be the only reason he gets in IF IT HAPPENS. But the fact that he is just absent when even Duon got a spirit, that Mother celebrated its 30th anniversary and could get something new according to Itoi, and that Sakurai is a huge fan of the series but somehow forgot to put the final villain of the series as a spirit despite him always getting some sort of representation since Melee is suspicious as fuck.

It's been a while since I played Tales of Symphonia, but Lloyd's the type of dude who uses two swords because if one sword has a power of 100, then two swords have a power of 200. He's your typical "more heart than brains" character and he never stops striving for a solution that calls for the least amount of innocent people getting hurt. His fighting style tends to be more flashy and anime-like than the established swordfighters, complete with screaming his attack names.
