put LOD bias at ultra, set distant fog and character fog at 70%, enable all fog and air particles ffect as well as chromatic aberration + serfrost clarity and THEN it's finally beautiful without changing too much of the game

I did most of that when I took that screenshot, increasing LoD bias in this game makes a huge difference, it looks gorgeous.

Can I climb those mountains?

Based. Incoming seething snoyfags

I don't disagree, as long as you play it on PC and not some outdated machine that can't do it justice. Which leads me to the question, is it better to play it on CEMU or on the switch emulator? and does the games have any difference between console titles? should I wait for progression in the switch emulator in case it's a yes, or should I just straight play it on cemu?

try the distant fog thing it's included in the too many options pack i think but the default settings remove too much of it, 70% is the sweetspot.

For me, it's BotW.

Attached: IMG_20190422_200322.jpg (1280x720, 162K)

I love the scenery in botw but I really hate the edge lighting on the characters. The outlining here looks so much better.

How could anyone think Dragon Quest Xi looks good when the characters are more cringe than NES sprites lol. Toriyama has been been on the absolute decline as he gets closer to death.

lmao seething ninfag destroyed

I INSIST THAT YOU APPRECIATE THE MAJESTY OF THIS DOUBLE RAINBOW DUTCH

now would you look at all that non content. beautiful.

Attached: 756343245.jpg (400x400, 34K)

just play it on cemu it's quite easy to set up
i have a ryzen5 2600 paired with a 1050ti and i have constant 60fps.
you can follow BSOD gaming video on how to set up CEMU 1.15 and then find another tutorial on how to download and install games on cemu with usbhelper (i recommand downloading every wiiu game you want to play right away so you can uninstall the program right after)

What the fuck is non content even supposed to mean?

Still seething a year later I see

>inferior switch version
lmao

It would be RDR2 for me if the game didn't look like shit in motion. You really have to be used to playing sub 30 fps all your life with ultra high motion blur intensity in order to enjoy it.

Probably Battlefront II. Shame about the EA Jewry that completely overshadowed how beautiful the game looks.

if I emulate BotW is it worth getting the no weapon degradation mod? I heard some user saying it breaks the game, since it makes Korok seeds even more worthless, but I think if I can hold more cool shit I want that doesn't break then that's fine

Witcher 3 made me stop and stare a bunch and I thought Kingdom Come looked pretty great at times

don't go for infinite durability !! it will make the game boring trust me. Instead go for 1.5x that's my recommandation. however what you need to install is the "no slip when rainning" mod, it decreases the slip by half when you jump and you don't slip when you climb normally. Another great one is the "no degradation when shield surfing" cause it's just pure fun and changes nothing

wtf you destroyed him

maybe the most beautiful one of the 1910s

Attached: boy-laughing-pointing-isolated-white-background-35592615.jpg (1108x1300, 115K)

Is this a respectable way of talking about somebody?

CUPHEAD

akkala region best region. That autumn-like landscape was peak comfy, and that area that flooded when it rained: beautiful. I spent a whole day just in that area

I feel the opposite, I don't like those weird outlines that games like DQ11 and XC2 use

>or on the switch emulator
yuzu can't even run the game yet, so cemu it is.

now we’re talkin

this looks like absolute shit though...

I already played through the game a year ago, might revisit it for mods later though, once more custom content is made (I'm already aware custom shrines/dungeons are being made now)

the question was personal user, so we can assume user hasn't played a game more beautiful than that one during this decade. could be that he's one of those people that only owns a switch and a poor pc rig just for work and browsing the internet

I was always a fan of Faron jungle myself

>game really does look beautiful
>switch version looks like dogshit
>still buying it because it has more content and QoL additions.
I hate this monkey paw bullshit

>emulated has richer colors
>console version looks like ass

>emulated
These are Wii U screens. I made fuckton of them with capture card.

Attached: PMCS.jpg (2370x4000, 3.42M)

wut game

if using correct settings in a capture card you can get the games to look like that, although keep in mind since it's a collage each individual image is small so will hide the otherwise poor resolution and texture quality.

Morrowind.

That looks like soulless garbage that was run through a corporate checklist.

How come Dragon Quest XI looks so nice while us pokemonfags suffer

>pic unrelated

DQ is the ugliest most artifical game ive ever seen

only good part of the game is the visuals

say what you will about the gameplay, visually it's very pleasing.

why couldn't they have used these stunning graphics, but with the gameplay of the original and/or thousand door? boggles my brain.

what the fuck does that even mean? the game is beautiful.

In purely technical terms I think it's Control. I didn't even play it and it's probably a shit game but damn, are the grafics impressive.
In terms of style it's way too subjective.

Attached: 3561412-control.jpg (1460x797, 229K)

Because pokemonfags would buy a bag of dogshit if it had the Pokémon logo on it. Why even try if you’re still going to make ridiculous money

I have a few candidates:

Ni no kuni wrath of the white witch
Nier Automata
Hollow Knight
Cuphead

Dragon Quest XI looks pretty great too though.

Attached: R8PE01-1.png (1700x1016, 378K)

It was BOTW. There were some games with great graphics but overall the art styles were whatever. BOTW even at 720p had moments when the game just looked amazing. Doesn't really translate well into screenshots though. Gravity Rush 2 comes to mind as well but eh.

Attached: Cemu 2017-11-03 02-59-50-76.jpg (1920x1080, 606K)

Capture cards do a better job because the Switch capture has shit tier compression

What's your idea of wild west then? I am curious

Don't know why everyone keep saying BOTW look amazing.
Sure it look fine and very very comfy but nothing profoundingly amazing.

Witcher 3 is great, i wish it didn't get downgraded.
Kingdom Come is nice but i wish it have more interesting stuffs, too realistic is it weakness because it's well... normal?

Not really, it's just that the game's aesthetic shines in motion. The swaying grass, the visible wind, particle effects, etc.

Attached: Cemu 2017-11-03 23-14-57-19.jpg (1920x1080, 530K)

Forgot to mention clouds and the shadows they cast, and the volumetric lighting. The game just has a ton of effects that you only really notice in motion. Like this image has some blades of grass floating around but in jpg format it's nothing special.

Attached: Cemu 2017-11-16 07-48-58-61.jpg (1920x1080, 532K)

Downgrade is completely nonexistent btw

(you)

KC was downgraded too

BASED

Tropical Freeze. Absolutely gorgeous art direction, and it arguably does a better job of feeling like playing a cartoon than Cuphead. The level design and timing of the setpieces are immaculate, and do an incredible job of selling each level as it's own self-contained vignette

Witcher 3 was heavily downgraded, though it's still impressive it was the best looking game that year.
Excellent taste
