This is mean. I got made fun of like this all the time when I made cartoons and it fucking sucked. It didn’t give me a thick skin or make me a better artist or make me think more about what I was doing, it just hurt.
The fact that all the people patting you on the back for this cartoon are old school-newgrounds types with very few “STAs” commenting speaks volumes. You can use this thread to pretend it’s all in good fun, but it’s not fun, it’s mean. It hurts.
These are kids who are all creating, sharing themselves, and trying to find a way to belong. This video only serves to segregate two groups of individuals both primarily populated by people who desperately want to connect with one another.
