were the bandits outside of the witchwood (hard mode) supposed to be gatekeepers? those sword'n'board dudes kept one shotting me, even as a fighter. It took me a few hours just to get in the woods, which were then a cakewalk because packs arent that bad and the giant spiders were still pretty small

Okay, I wasnt sure if I was somehow retarded and doing things out of order which is why I set aside the game for 4 months. I picked it back up this weekend and felt really accomplished to finally enter the woods

that entire section has a lot of shit taht can fuck low levels up

>No indication of where roads lead
>No hint to what enemies are weak to
>No hint of when enemies are alone or in groups
>No warning to avoid status effects
>No clue to which items are masterworks
>No warning when the wind is pushing you
>No way to tell where certain plants grow
I don't know how people defend this shit game.
