Do you remember this game? Did you like it?
Do you remember this game? Did you like it?
Yea, it was great. Always wanted a sequel.
yeah, never finished it though
Right? It was always my favorite regarding mid 2000's 3d action platformers.
Shame it wasn't as popular as Spyro or Crash, otherwise we might see a remaster. Or at least some kind of VC option on the Switch.
Actually, I just found out you can play it on switch. Which reminded me of the game in the first place and why I made this thread. There is also a pc port. But yeah shame about no remaster. Would be cool if they did something similar to what they did with Ratchet and Clank.
WOT. You mean via homebrew emulation?
I did try the PC version a while ago, and like with Prince of Persia, it's an improvement, but still not quite what I'm chasing.
Nope. I believe you can literally pick up a physical copy if you so choose. Although I still don't own a switch so take that with a grain of salt I suppose. I do plan on getting one eventually.
Well how about that. Thanks for alerting me to it.
You're welcome bro. Have fun playing.
fuck off nitrorad
Fucking love this game, honestly one of my like top 20 games. The PC port is fantastic, love how the devs are. They're helping the community restore the cut/beta content. Basically released dev tools for everyone. Sequel never ever and it sucks
This was the egyptian themed Zelda-like right? I recall renting it, can't recall much though.
How is the PC port? Is it good or should I just emulate?
I don't know. I haven't played this game since I owned a playstation 2. However this user seems to think it's great.
Looking at the screencaps of the Steam release. Did they enhance the game? Shit looks far cleaner/higher resolution on the texture front than I'd expect from a game of that era.
And we were surprised THQ went out of business.
Yeah, they redid almost every texture in the game and the UI. Also fixed the save bug/softlock that was infamous in the NTSC release way back.
PC port is definitive at this point.
played it years ago but remember nothing about it, is it worth pirating and replaying on the PC?
It was okay. Like a lot of 3d adventure games of the time, it got pretty boring after awhile. Just be aware of the one save game glitch so that you don't accidentally fuck over your whole safe file.
>be aware of the one save game glitch
About 15 years too late for that user. I remember that bug vividly. If I were to play this game again however I'd most likely go with the PC port which fixed this problem, seeing how I no longer own any of the consoles it was originally released on.
