You are locked in 8 directions and they removed the triple jump along with any other moves that require any tiny amount of skill, you also need to run for like 2 seconds before getting your full speed. How the fuck is that satisfying?

I never hated it. I think it's one of the best 3D Mario games and is grossly underrated. I have a coworker who fucking hates it and I don't understand why. He just says its for children and has nothing else to even say about it.
