My first (blind) run I got Selene as my adopted daughter and the village childhood friend as the love interest, purely by luck because I did a fuck ton of side quests without knowing how the romance system worked. In fact I thought the whole segment was scripted for her and didn't realize until after I had finished the game that she was just one of very many possibilities and a technically difficult one to achieve at that.

I really love this game but there are some basic flaws that bother me. One, theres no separation of clothing and armor, you can't really tell them apart a lot of times. I know there's a mod, and I have it, but mods don't excuse flaws.
I do like how they regulate random fetch or escort quests to billboards though, and leave the decent side quests for you to find out in the open. And BBI was fucking amazing, that skeleton pope was the most fun I had fighting a boss in a long time. I was just underleved enough to make it really tense and hectic.

The hard mode is also kinda wonky. The first few hours are hard because everything kills you super easily, but then everything is easy as shit because you drown in gold, exp and RC.

Traversing the map after having already done so isn't worth the time. If the enemy encounters weren't static I'd argue otherwise. Upgrading gear is important and you'll have plenty of gold to do so. If you're feeling light just do some shitty notice board quests.

This is true. The first 30 or 40 levels are brutal, and if you do any sidecontent or wander around, the 10k gold bags drop like rain and you have millions of dosh before you even face the dragon.

Every time I open the game I reset the difficulty so I get sent back to the start and can remake my arisen and pawn.

Or the exit. Just run if you can't destroy him with blast arrows. If he spawns in that one bridge area you can also holy focused bolt to stagger him and make him fall into the abyss.

Wait which dragon was that? I didn't finish season 3 was that the one? IIRC season 1 had the protector white dragon and the transformed regretful alchemist dragon, Season 2 had the spirit dragon who got infected but part of the reason things went to shit was that it was so closely tied to the world tree.

The White Dragon was a protector because it rejected the cycle and because of that the Cycle had to compensate by making things worse.

You're doing it wrong
When he does succ you drink a liquid vim and either jump on his face and pummel him, or you run the fuck away and then charge up arc, assuming you have proper augment setup it will hit full charge by the time his succ draws you close and then you let it rip and knock his ass down, then you jump on him and pummel his face some more

I guess I fucked up grabbing him because I just flew through his torso when I tried it.
