It really is a great game when modded imo

this can be applied to any game

Dumbed down Oblivion and Morrowind

No.

>tfw skyblivion will come out and we'll never have to play skyrim again

yes :)

combat and most quests are pretty terrible though

Indeed, it is!
I love Falskaar

amazing porn game

Are there any weather mods or ENB's that add a shit load of distant fog? Skyrim can actually look remarkably good when modded, but the awful distant LOD's always pull me right out of it.

any mods to fix the shit combat this game has?

Your still playing Skyrim though

Is there a mod where I can go hunting, sell my catch at the butchers and rent out a room at the inn for a price that makes sense and then just roam around Skyrim doing that?

They completely ruined stuff that made previous games great
>can't enchant a weapon with bound weapon or armor
>you must destroy an item to learn an enchantment (wut?)
>enchantment spells in general limited as hell
>skill requirement to summon some atronarch are stupidly high
>alchemy oversimplified
>no portable alchemy lab
>can't fly
>can't teleport, a necessity when overburdened
>stupid crafting system locked by perks
>less armor slots
>soul gems won't tell you what creatures souls is trapped in the gem

>No mod will fix the quest system
>No mod will fix the animation system
>No mod will fix the combat
>No mod will fix the writing
>No mod will fix the NPC behaviors
>No mod will fix the equipment system
Skyrim is shit.

>it really is a mediocre sex game when modded imo

ftfy

Too much work for so little reward.

>some mod in my 293 plugin loadorder makes certain animals like mammoths literally invincible through sheer health regeneration rate, even if attacked by ten followers
>don't want to binary search my modlist again to weed out this single issue
it's all so tiresome.
this lol

>a modding sandbox is good when I mod it to be the exact type of game I enjoy
No shit.

>can't teleport, a necessity when overburdened
Git Gud

>No mod will fix the NPC behaviors
I thought there were a number of mods that alter NPC AI.

lol, upvoted

can you mod overwatch? no need to reply btw

not him but even with a shit ton of overhaul mods for combat ai, you can still exploit it by jumping over a fence or onto a rock, etc.

kek utterly btfo

skyrim is just too shallow for me

The mods are still bound to Skyrim's AI system, you can't change that, unless you write Skyrim from scratch.

Lmao it aint ever coming out

FIX MY GAME!!!

Attached: fc5.jpg (1280x1296, 121K)

why not?

Because its all volunteer work.

And?

I liked the base game and I loved it once I started modding.
Same for Morrowind and Oblivion as well.

God I hope skywind makes it to the final cut.

looks like garbage
oversatured awful coloring

the LODs can be fixed, search up DynDoLOD; its a bit of work but it looks really nice with minimal fps loss

If you COULD it would perhaps be a better game

cringe

It's a shame Skywind doesn't have streams all the time like Skyblivion, it's hard to gauge how well the project is doing, though their recent trailer looked great

>but the awful distant LOD's always pull me right out of it.

You do realize that you can change the settings so the game loads the map as far as the eye can see, right?

>runs at 24 fps

They still cant add depth to AI actions. Just to make the block more often and dodge shit or bumrush you.

Is there a mod to locate your horse on the map?

NEVER SHOULD'VE COME HERE

Obsidian weathers does that and adds volumetric clouds. It looks quite nice.

Dablin with Ugrids was proven to give so small improvement in draw distanve that its not worth the unstability it causes. Best you can do is to have good computer and run DyndoLOD in high settings.

No but mods like convenient horse give you a power or a horn to summon it.

I'm talking about how you can change the settings of shit like trees, grass, building, terrain, objects in general to whatever distance you like so the game loads the textures as far as you want. You just gotta have a decent PC to not lose FPS with that but its a thing you can do using the .ini files.
Also been playing with 7 Ugrids for a while now, personally didnt see any difference in stability.

which elder scrolls is the best for burglarizing and assassinating people? possibly with mods. the only thing i liked about oblivion and skyrim

It's just repeititive and boring tho

Oblivion

Can someone redpill me on the Skyrim Perfectly Modded pack?

wouldn't tesedit make that search a million times easier?

If Bethesda would release the actual dev tools we could fix that shit. New weapon classes, new animations for them, new equipment slots that replace and break up the "body" slot, etc.
It will never happen though.

Yes. Hunterborn for the skinning of pelts and stuff. Get live another life or similar mod to skip the opening and start in a town. Get better barter or similar mod to make everything cheaper if you need it. Highly recommend frostborn or wet and cold to add some difficulty.
