There is going to be a Nintendo Direct on September 18th at 3:00PM EST. It seems like it will be a very interesting Direct packed with lots of new reveals. This information is not in the order it will be presented.
> There will be a demonstration video announced for Banjo & Kazooie in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, similar to the one about Hero on July 30th. This demo video from Sakurai himself will air on September 23rd, and the character will likely drop on the same day. I am not sure on what will be included in the 5.0 update, but I've heard mentions of Home-Run Contest and online Smashdown, so that would be my personal prediction.
> Bayonetta 3 will finally get shown in the Direct. The release window is planned to be Fall 2020.
> Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be briefly shown and new features will be introduced. The game is still slated for release on March 20, 2020.
> There will be reminders about Link's Awakening and Dragon Quest 11 S releasing soon. The "Tockles" spirit for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will also be mentioned.
> A new Paper Mario game will be shown off for release in Holiday 2020. There is very little gameplay shown, and there surprisingly isn't a finished title yet.
> Wario Ware: Switch'd!! will be shown. There is lots of HD Rumble functionality in the game, and the only release date that is given is "2020".
> SNES games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online. The same games found in a previous datamine will be included at the start, with more added every month. NES games will also continue to be added, but likely not as often. Wireless SNES controllers will also be sold separately.
> Rare Replay is coming to the Nintendo Switch this Holiday season. Donkey Kong 64 and the DKC trilogy will be added in this version.
> A highlight reel showing 8 indie games is shown.
> The direct ends with a trailer for Doom Slayer coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. No gameplay is shown, but the release is scheduled for "November 2019".
