For some reason they chose to animate a couple cutscenes using in-game models, and the rest they outsourced to a different animation studio with a different, it's really jarring they couldn't stick with just one style

I remember seeing a line by one of the other houses students while playing blue lions talking about how different their house's mission was.
I wonder if the first half was originally going to have different missions for each house but at some point it was scrapped and they just went with what was the most finished and that just happened to be Blue Lions stuff.
The fact that there are unused English voice lines in the game that don't fit in any of the routes means they must have been cutting content that was pretty far along in development right up to release, so it probably wasn't the cleanest development cycle.
