>game introduces teleportstion mechanics
>villains never use teleportation to assassinate people of interest

>Villain needs to pick a secret moniker for an undercover operation
>Uses their official title as a second name

Who the fuck wrote this shit?

Edelgard is a fucking dork who's awful with names

>Takes her hours of painstaking thought to call her elite team the Black Eagles Strike Force
>Everyone's all "who could this Flame Emperor be?"
>"Gee sensei this Flame Emperor gal sounds really beautiful and sensible, maybe you'd like her if she took off her mask and saw her pretty eyes :)"

>villain wants to bandits to ambush 2 nobles
>ends up traveling with those nobles and almost dies to the ambush

I love this dork.

>Villain has a tragic backstory all about how the even bigger bad abused them
>teams up with said bigger bad to fight something that wasn't even an issue

>flame emperor asks main character if he would join his cause
>rejects you even if you say yes
>edelgard asks you if you would join the flame emperor
>scolds you for saying no and tells you that you might change your mind if you knew them better

Too early to reveal herself. Also bad writing.

They clearly are a problem in the narrative if edelgard can release a manifesto and cause half the lords of a nation to side against them. They never show us the manifesto or mention the inciting crime of the church but its clear that they are bad. Anyways her axe to grind is more about subhumans and the people who uphold the social structure in fodlan than it is bad people in general.

IT MAKES ME SO MAD. SHE TALKS SO MUCH SHIT ABOUT THE CHURCH MILKING THE PEOPLE DRY. But you start the Church route and the first thing Seteth says "Yeah we're pretty broke bro."

They used all the money on fish user.

There are too many Fire Emblem threads up, which one do I shitpost in?

Edelgard is a stupid chuuni
>Dimitri did you know that if the Empire and Kingdom went to war we could fight all we want haha just kidding
>Edelgard please don't joke about war
>The Empire is so strong it could probably take the Kingdom and Alliance out at once haha just kidding
>Edelgard please stop laughing at global warfare

Be a good autist and shitpost in all of them

>dimitri wants to kill edelgard so bad that he crawled towards her army covered in blood and holes until he was speared to death by empire soldiers
>but during the fight he charged straight for my claude

>war isnt confusing
>you can just walk away lmao

That isn't as bad as Claude sticking his nose in the Battle of Gronder in BL when he could easily just sit it out instead of suiciding towards and going 'hey bro why are we fighting?' At least Dimitri is mentally unhinged enough that it makes sense that he'd slaughter all in his path.

being forced to lose an unit is neither fun nor fair

Her "manifesto" was surrender or I raze your lands. Hell Lorenz's father is a Church supporter but stopped due to valuing his people and lands more.

Everyone takes the stupid pill when you're not on their route. Claude is the smartest and chillest guy to begin with so he's less noticeably retarded, but it's still a major step down from who he is on GD.

may as well call it the Xander pill

Claude isn't actually that smart, he's clever and resourceful. GD is the one route where Byleth is 100% in charge and making the important decisions.

The fight at Gronder made me extremely confused because i saw no reason for Claude to even interviene at all. In-story it's supposed to be somehow confusing but on the map i almost had cleaned up the whole map off the Empire in the first turn. I thought the guy would just give up if the entire army of Edelgard was dead but nope
> "hahaha war is so confusing let's just beat everybody, friend or foe"
Claude is an actual autist and he's supposed to be the "smart one" of the three.

>friend or foe
Claude isn't actually allied with either BE or BL at any point, that's kind of the whole idea of GD. He wants to stop Edelgard because her methods are ridiculous but still sees merit in her arguments.

>beat everybody
That's the point, he doesn't want to kill anyone, he's got the shounen anime model of punching people in the teeth until they settle down. Eventually you do have to kill some people but it's always the last resort instead of the brutality of Edelgard and Dimitri.
