After playing it recently it’s definitely one of my favorite FF’s. Only gripes were Freya being forgotten and never being allowed to actually beat Beatrix.

I haven't played any of them but 7 is the most significant from a history standpoint for taking a risk by leaving Nintendo's cartridges for Sony's cd-roms.
