So coming from someone that never played Wow, but is familiar with the problems surrounding modern mmo's, I played classic the past 3 hours.

I'll say this, it's nice to see people talking to eachother. There is a definite sense of community, and it actually seems like I'm in danger when I get into a fight with more then one mob my level. It feels a lot like how morrowind reminded me. Theres no directions to the quest, and you actually have to go out of your way to explore and find stuff.
