I though it was universally hated. By normalfags because it's very samey and dull, and by 40rfags because it butchers source material.

The only reason anyone remembers it is because it was a mediocre 40k game in a sea of shit ones. It's a bland generic 3rd person shooter that was a bore to play

It was simple, yet pretty fun. They actually planned to make it trilogy by making MC some sort of reject like in Force Unleashed but scrapped it entirely for some reason.

I just wish the environments were more awe inspiring of what that universe is supposed to be.

I'm a huge 40k fag and it was a 6/10 at best. It's the textbook definition of wasted potential

I don't care about 40k and I agree Space Marine is a 6/10 at best. It played like a more boring Transformers War for Cybertron.

Tightass was bsaed as fuck. He treated ordinary Guardsmen with the respect they deserve.

It was even more disappointing as a 40kfag because you're aware of just how expansive and in-depth the universe is and you become even more aware of how little they did with the game
