the one thing I like about retail over classic is how they highlight the parts of the map the quest is located in, hated having to read that shit and then look up guides online for every poorly worded quest

It makes you feel a sense of danger and you are always on alert in dangerous zones, it makes leveling feel a lot more interactive.

and when groups are fighting over a zone, it feels good pushing people back to their towns and guarding the area so you can go back and quest.

It boils down to also being really interactive with other people.

Hunter will be easy levelling but Warlocks will at least get you dungeon invites for summoning people.

But Warlock also means you'll spend a lot of time riding out to a dungeon entrance only to find out the other four thought the others would be the ones to run out to summon.

Hunters have a lot of stigmas attached to them but they level stupidly fast compared to other classes. Not only does the pet reduce downtime, but Aspect of the Cheetah reduces travel times by a lot before you get your mount.
