don't know about Riften cut content but Balgruuf was supposed to die and Hrongar was to become Jarl because of Mephala manipulating Balgruuf's kids and ultimately killing him. The voice acting for this is still in the game. The civil war was also more intense and if Balgruuf doesn't die he would have fled Whiterun through the sewers because he has an amulet of waterbreathing. Irileth is actually a former Morag Tong member. There is a shitload more that has been cut from the game.

I have a shitty old rig and it can only run Skyrim LE on medium settings. I even turned off the high res packs but at least now it runs really smoothly and there is no lag ever. that's more important than eye-candy imo.

Don't use Open Cities. Stop your SexLab mods from running checks every 3 seconds. Disable XMPSE cloak spells. Use 1k textures unless you really want to be spending time appreciating wood grain. Reduce shadow texture size. Use SMIM Lite.

At least one of those should apply to you.

More guards started coming in after I killed them though, so I swasbuckledby my way out before stealing a horse and getting out of the entire hold. After learning about the quest I decided to stay out of the Reach until I damn feel like it. Now I do that every playthrough just to cuck the entire conspiracy group.

The quests and all Vampire characters were indeed poor, so were the vampire attacks and the whole premise of the DLC felt forced.
The Forgotten Vale was great, the dungeon leading to it also, speaking with the some of the last uncorrupted Falmer, the armor and weapons were also good things.

That's also the reason why GPUs got big into the shader business after the ps2 era. vram just couldn't keep up with what people got promised so they had to invent bloom/sharpening and all that jazz to make textures not look like puke and still fit into that tiny console ram.
