Be Atlus

>Be Atlus
>Absolutely despise PC
>Your parent company is trying to coerce you into porting your games there
>So, you made a horrible port of a seven years old game, a game that got an expansion around the same time
>Predictably it sells like shit
>"See, Sega? PC gamers don't want our games"

Atlus plays the smart game.

Based and Segapilled

"sells like shit" where did you get that info? Here, from SEGA itself:

"More Atlus games could be coming, too, but the ball is currently in Atlus's court. Catherine Classic saw the developer's surreal puzzle game come to PC for the first time in January, and it's performed well. Clark hopes it's just the first step "

"Everyone's really pleased with it; we're pleased with it, it's performed well and the audience is happy," he says. "I think for us it was always step one. Let's launch Catherine, which then gives the IP owners and business owners at Atlus—who are in their first foray into the PC market—the ability to evaluate the success and how that can fit in for their future road map. I'm pleased to say they now have that information, so they're able to evaluate it. For us it was a positive experience, and hopefully they'll share that and consider it in their own road map."

>it's up to them
that is a big NO then.

If it performed well and they do nothing about it, at least we'll have concrete proof that Atlus dislikes gaijins

*Blocks your emulation*

>be Atlus
>utterly despise all your products except Persona 5

Altus ceo is an old fart who still thinks that Japan is still in the 80s. Also is somehow a technophobe. Don’t ask me how I know this

The Vita emulator is being developed for this game mainly. It won't be too long before your asshurt begins.

>greentext showing atlus being retarded
>atlus plays the smart game
which is it?

>fatlus
shit games nobody but neckbeard virgins want these ported anyways

Vita3k is obviously looked like a scam.
Or it will just like another PCSX2.
The world will end in nuclear war before proper Vita emulator for P4G appears.

Honestly P4G was pretty fucking shit when I played it
Boringly easy to play, Graphics were nice and all but it's not like it changed much of anything, only thing really added were some cute scenes with the lower tier waifus of P4 and an absolute garbage side story with the new OC

You said this about Persona 5.

try learning english and making that post again if you want me to actually acknowledge it's contents. I'll wait.

Nah RPCS3 is a very promising emulator since they first announced it to public. Vita3K is nothing like them
Not an argument. You are free to not acknowledge my argument btw. You are just another anonymous in Yea Forums.

>waaah why isn't every game on pc

boring op, try again

The emulator for P4G couldn't even get past the loading screen last time I saw it.

Golden somehow made the base game even easier, characters got buffed, a lot of the enemies had their weaknesses and stats changed. At least they made grinding more bearable as floors reset after going to another floor rather than being forced to go to another dungeon.

I think it's as another user said in one of these threads: Atlus is technologically incompetent so they struggle with new hardware. That's why there are no news about SMTV: they're still trying to figure out the Switch.

That said, they do hate PC tho.

>worst persona game
nothing of value is lost

>95% of their games can be emulated so people pirate them since they can't be bought on PC

based atlus. I can't wait to play SMT5 on Yuzu for free

When will Atlus remember this game?

After P5R, so 2020?
They literally have nothing else to develop with Catherine and Persona out the way.

Isn't the Switch literally just off the shelf mobile components? Surely that wouldn't be difficult.

the modern gamer desires persona
no point in wasting time on smt

This. SMT still existing is more of an obligation or tradition for Atlus at this point. It's always their Z-team working on these.

Sega Europe does the ports tho
I don't think Sega Jap bothers Atlus about this bit

When Atlus wakes up from their 5-year slumber. That's how they've always made games
