How the FUCK can Star Citizen keep getting away with this?
They’re a literal cult.

>REEE PEOPLE ARE SPENDING MONEY ON THINGS I DON'T LIKE
Why are you mad? How does it effect you that there are people spending lots of money on shit they like? I imagine they find you spending money on shit you like pretty weird too.

everything is possible in America :^)

literal NPC

>sinking ship fallacy
The more you invest, the more you’ll keep investing because of what you already put in, and it goes around like a cycle.

eh probably just some good old fashion money laundering

space whales

>having secret society meetings
Next is a pilgrimage, I suppose.

How long till he gets sued for fraud?

>Calls others an npc
>Uses a meme response
Its like you're on autopilot.

Nobody's mad, user. Just... confused, because the game that was announced a million years ago STILL isn't out.

Because it's a pyramid scam.

any minute now

>because the game that was announced a million years ago STILL isn't out.
The alpha came out ages ago and every patch improves the game. Are you bitching because the devs haven't used their wizard powers to make a game pop out of nowhere? Dumb faggot.
>Its a pyramid scam
How on earth is it a pyramid scam? Are you just saying words at random? Do you even know what one of those is?

>Because it's a pyramid scam.
that's a scam but it's not a pyramid scam

Say it with me, Money Laundering!

>Because it's a pyramid scam.
Well you know what they say, its a doggy dog world.

reading the post before the image made me think this was a shitty food analogy lol, no way this is real

Star Citizen would be an excellent case study into mental illness.

Attached: 1497701271409.png (292x389, 123K)

What's really crazy is No Man's Sky already does everything Star Citizen claimed it would do, it already came out years ago, and it's only $40.

A diamond dozen, nowadays.

Has least he can pilot. Meanwhile you don’t even get to play with your Scam Shitizen ships.

:^)

There's an actual game though

soon as I saw people prebuying 12k ships I knew

This is honestly a fucking cult. It operates exactly as a cult, and people in it act as sheep. Exactly like in cult.

A shiny demo with nothing to do is not a game.

>doggy dog world
Its ‘dog eat dog world’ you know?

>replying to doggy dog

Well, pardon me, Mr. Gucci Loafers.

*It's

its a pretty impressive racket if thats the case

CitizenCon

I mean, if they're stupid enough to fall for it, their money is better off in different hands anyway

At this point Star Citizen has to be some sort of digital money laundering scheme. The same kind of bullshit that's prevalent in the art industry. There's no way in hell any sane person would support this garbage without an ulterior motive or benefit.

Attached: 1566709706841.jpg (500x374, 33K)

How do I play it?

Your barking in a tree if you think I give a shit.

it's a "fake it till you make it" scam that's grown far too bloated to ever make it, but the whales who are flinging money at it are in serious denial. The pic of the dinner that's been posted is almost nothing but neckbeards and boomers. I say almost because there was one chink cosplaying rich uncle pennybags.

What happens to people who just bought the $60 version. Will they be riding around in little space mopeds and horse drawn carts while getting bullied by space station guys

So is Star Citizen an actual cult now?

They'll be 60 dollars out of pocket, while the others will either be finding tall buildings to throw themselves from or desperately trying to launch class action lawsuits to recover anything they can.

Yes, but the cult will have you believe the game isn't pay2win, but it 100% is. Someone in a starter ship is going to get fucking destroyed by any of the single seaters in above tiers.

canis canemy

Why are we worried about kids spending money on lootboxes when boomers are even more easily exploited and manipulated?

So.... Was the food good at least?

Attached: 1564351468761.gif (600x331, 2.28M)

Actually sounds quite fun to be a space hobo riding on a little junk ship and insulting all the dumb pricks who spent thousands on a big dumb ship

>Are you bitching because the devs haven't used their wizard powers to make a game pop out of nowhere?
The game has been in production for almost a decade and has consumed nearly $ 300 million, man. What is this idea of "pop out of nowhere"? Let me guess, you've already spent over $ 500 on this game. I hope you don't have women and children because they will lose all respect for you when they find out what you did, lol.

I feel you man, I was stupid to spend 60dolleros on it but smart enough not to venture further.
Gonna insult dem rich niggers if and when game comes out

>The game has been in production for almost a decade

UGH FIDDLESTICKS

Sense of pride and accomplishment.

What game is in development for over a fucking decade? Jesus dude.

Duke Nukem Forever. And what a classic piece of software that was.

Not Star Citizen, that's for sure.

DNF was scrapped repeatedly, the final release it was in production for 2 years. Fucking retards up in this thread.

i don't get the picture

There really is no point to engaging with you cultists is there.

How is this laundering money if they're just throwing it away?
It's laundering money when you have a few millions you got from drug trafficking, and decide to build an apartment complex. Nobody knows how much you actually paid for the workers, and you can just bribe the sellers into lying about how much you paid for the materials. At the end you have an honestly built apartment complex that you can sell for honest money.
Or you can donate to some ambientalist NGOs, and bribe them into signing a paper that says you gave them more money than you're actually giving. The difference between the money you actually donated and the money you pretended to donate is new "honest money" you own.
Meanwhile, in scam citizen you "buy" a in-game ship of a game that will never be released, but your money is gone because that ship can't make you any real money.
How is this money laundering?

Lmao Jesus fucking Chirst people are fucking dumb

>Called out for your stupidity
>C-CULTIST
There are DNF cultists now? Go look up any info on the production of DNF, it was scrapped repeatedly, and the final product was the result of 2 years, it contained no assets or shit from past verisons (Which you can also look up and see, there has been multiple verisons made but never released).

Fucking brainlet, stop acting like a literal npc.

>They’re a literal cult.
Anything new? Did the sun come up today?

>develop game
>scrap it, restart
>repeat process for 12 years.
so 12 years in development? why did you thought that was a good point for you?

So how was the dinner? Was the few hundred bucks worthwhile to get a photo with your messiah?

What on earth are you talking about?

what's so special about this ship? it looks tiny. I thought you could buy really big star destroyers for less money in the game.

Why do people want Star Citizen to fail?

Schadenfreude

So star citizen has been scrapped and restarted multiple times?

why did you thought that was a good point for you?

So you'd rather have that than a successful Star Citizen?

so that their braindead backers get punished for their stupidity

>no u
nice one fag
and since when has SC been scraped and restarted again?

Yes because the base concept for Star Citizen isn't a game I am interested in and so I'll get more enjoyment out of it failing than any kind of success.

He's a retard who thinks you're defending star citizen. He might have autism

Mhm. And supposedly you didn't consider the effects on the games industry the game would have?

>now

I once pointed out that by the time star citizen was done we would have AI advanced enough to generate what they are doing within the span of a week or two. They didn't take kindly to that.

>game has the highest budget of all time
>been in development for a decade
>nowhere near done
>still grabbing money from its cultists
If this game ever comes out the tears will be amazing

How the fuck does correcting his dumb ass statement about DNF translate to defending a completely unrelated game? I fucking hate this place sometimes, real bunch of retards.

These pieces of art you can sell again though.
I want star citizen to succeed because it would be a really impressive game if they actually managed to fulfill their vision.
But the scope of the game balooned too much, it's a behemoth of complexity, and there's no way they will finish all this anytime before 2030.
So laughing at the losers throwing thousands of dollars away is the most fun this game will give me since I will never be able to actually play it.

A failure wouldn't be any worse than what it's doing right now. Right now all the development cycle is showing is that the industry is ripe for exploitation.

Selling out would become even more widespread since SC (Star Cult) showed how profitable it is. Literally no game would be made without early access, macrotransactions, real world money trade, investor bonuses... Gamers would forever be branded as the spineless whales they are, and every other audience would become marginalized. Games would become DLC receptacles that eagerly abuse human psychology to maximize profits, or in other words all games would become like mobile games.

Woah hold up. It's STILL not out and they're holding dinner conferences to their highest subscribers to announce more content? WHAT?

Attached: Confused-man.jpg (500x342, 136K)

Because it would be epic.. Fucking newfag, were you not around for TORTANIC?

basically a cult

Its been out for ages in alpha, its close to beta status. Yea Forums doesn't want to admit the game is making steady progress because it would require to look past the memes and learn whats really going on.

they should have spent their time and money on creating systems that could help them achieve their goals rather than attempting to do everything by hand. They could have changed the entire industry.. Now they're almost broke and have nothing to show for it.

>aegis Nautilus solstice
Cringe

just don't pour monies an enjoy the sho

Why does not one ever point out you have to pay real money for fuel for your ships?

Some of them cost like 40+ dollars an hour to fly.

Chris is building a real life space Armada, and he's going to bombard cities from orbit.

Holy shit lmao

Worse. It's not out yet and they hosted a $300 dinner for anyone who spent $1k or more to announce they have the opportunity to pay them another $700.

>People will believe this

that game made by the last living neanderthal

There are people younger than Star Citizen posting here user.

Yeah, but, there was also loot bags with shit like badges, notebooks, pens and some concept art. Actual bags! That's Bethesda tier power moves right there.

so this game is only about fancy expensive spaceships to fly around?

No idea. But I picked up on what he was doing with his first reply to you.
Despite the fact that your post makes star citizen look even worse, given that DNF was actually technically only in development for 2 years

They’re also selling them merch they can wear to show off the new ship.

user you also have to pay for maintenance and insurance with REAL MONEY for your ships.
Its 100% real.

Theres one ship thats the largest in the game which they boast costs over $200 in fuel to even leave the atmosphere of a planet.

This can't be real

You use ingame credits and the price to fuel small ships is nothing, the price for larger ships is equal to the larger tasks they can take on, balancing larger ships by not making it viable for a single person to use them for missions.

Real money doesn't come into it. I don't understand why you are trying to shitpost about such things when there are hundreds of perfectly valid things to bring up like $10.000 coffee machines.

Attached: 346346.jpg (225x225, 11K)

It can't be because it isn't.

:^)

Fuel is 100% sold on the store.
Its just also sold in game at ludicrous prices so you can grind for fuel.

Yes, No Man's Sky really is an actual game.

Then you'll have no problem grabbing us a screenshot of fuel being sold on the store.

The developers need to find ways to finance their game, it's obvious. Just pay for it and enjoy flying a spaceship.
And DO NOT every question anything again or we will send you men in black suits.

Money like that is pennies when you have alot of it. You're just mad that you're poor.

I estimate that, if the devs put thwir noses to the grindstone and avoid jamming in the more goofy minor features, they could have the game ready within 3 years. That seems unlikely. This game was announced 2 console generations ago.

Star Citizen is a joke.
This Nautilus is nothing (though the combination with the event is probably what triggered people the most). Last year they sold a 1500 USD ship with nothing to show for it other than a few pictures. But at least that ship (Kraken) has some sort of point in the game, I suppose.
Right now, the 890 Jump luxury ship is available for testing. While big, very big in fact, it doesn't really add anything that other ships don't already provide. No new tech, no new gameplay, no new features. As a "luxury" ship it looks fancy, but from a development perspective it should eventually have the following features, of which none are present:
>pilotable from secondary "battle" bridge (no camera view)
>medbay (zero gameplay)
>bartenders/crew AI (no AI at all, there's not even functioning ground combat AI at all, let alone any other type of AI)
>ship-to-ship and ship-to-station docking
>escape pods and lifeboat
>cooking, bartending, food/drinks in general (supposed to be tied into some survival mechanic)
>automated point defense turrets
Basically, it's a fancy looking ship that adds nothing to the game other than the size. The only non-combat, non-transport ship function that has been added at all in the past few years is mining, which is rather simplistic. There's no salvaging, repairing, stealth, data hacking/encrypting, exploration, streaming/journalism, refueling, towing.
On the environment side of things, they added two planets that each have a small hub and not much else. There's moons with a few outposts, a handful of missions and a bit of straight-forward enemy pathing.

This is after what, seven years? Eight?
How can anyone expect SC to deliver the promised grand game?

Bannerlord ;_; I cant believe it’s actually coming out

Kenshi

What country uses UEC?

Go to bed chris

>How can anyone expect SC to deliver the promised grand game?
people have been brainwashed to abandon pattern recognition and to just throw hope at things with the expectation it will work out because good feels

>kenshi
and after that decade they just abandoned it and now they make Kenshi 2 with the same broken engine

FEATURE
COMPLETE

It's not actually a game. It's just an exclusive club for millionaire space ship enthusiasts.

what's the "in stock" line supposed to mean?

it's not like they can run out

Because my friend who spent €150 gets annoyed when I cal it scam shitizen

None, UEC is the in game credits.

>it's not like they can run out
They could pull it from sale so that their whales could have an "exclsuive".

By this logic you can justify any predatory/exploitative practice.

They only sell a limited amount of them to create a sense of urgency. It's a classic marketing tactic.

got to say you have absolutely terrific reaction pics.

>that yellow shirted woman on the right
she's thinking of how much she'll get in the divorce

>more people than iq

With amount of money they fundraised they could probably nearly build a real space ship
Instead they have an unfinished piece of shit engine show off demo

It's actually amazing how little they accomplished with the insane amount of money they got and are still getting. A real studio with that cash could make a god damn masterpiece.

>get divorced
>wife takes the kids
>take the house
>takes the dog too
>but what really hurts is that I only have visitation rights to my space ship one weekend a month

Yea Forums found a way?

Absolutely not. These people knew exactly what they were signing up for. This isn't fooling granny into sending money or some shit, this is just retards being retards.

Americans

>make fuel incredibly expensive
>make larger ships consume incredible amounts of fuel
>make credits which you use to purchase said fuel purchasable with real money
>"DUDE STOP HATING YOU CANT BUY FUEL WITH REAL MONEY STOP QUESTIONING MY CULT"
Cocksucking retard, kill yourself.

12 years in development hell
I bet there were years when literally no one worked on it.

How come there is not a single attractive person in that picture?

i'm not gay so i can't really tell, but the woman in yellow dress looks alright.

because the attractive people are out getting laid instead of paying to attend a neckbeard gathering.

30-50 year old sysadmins (or other neckbeard jobs) who are unsatisfied with their existence (life, body, social relations, etc) but have plenty of money and will latch onto anything that they think can help them escape. The fact that it hearkens back to a time when they were younger and not completely hopeless yet helps.

projecting? or do you know some poeple into this game.

How about just not naive?

what?

sucks to be then, still doesn't change anything.

>Moving the goalposts
Okay so after looking through the store and finding that you cannot in fact purchase fuel, you're moving onto credits? Right. Well go ahead and be literally the only person who'd buy credits for fuel then to prove your point.

Fuel costs nothing, you can more than make enough in game to fund fuel costs, FAR more. Fuel may as well not exist.
>B-B-But it takes lots of fuel to land a big ship in planet!
Those aren't made for traveling in atmosphere, its why the large ships have hangers with small ships for plant shit.

But keep calling me a cultist, because all you're capable or willing to do is just shitpost aimlessly. Weird choice though, to shitpost about something that anyone who has played the game understands is bullshit, given there are plenty of things you can shitpost about and nobody would bat an eye like spending 10 grand on a door or 3 grand on a coffee machine, or being willing to use backer money to sue the escapist because they said meanie things robert didn't like. Guess those don't get the same amount of (you)s as acting like a retard though.

Attached: 1459758251076.jpg (251x242, 14K)

I periodically check in on SC every year or so in a can't help but watch a flaming trainwreck sort of way.
It's pretty much given at this point that they've already failed and will not be able to deliver on what they promised; even if they do, them being a laughing stock for so many years and all the bad PR they've garnered will make the game end up doing mediocre at best, before fizzling out soon after.
RSI is an excellent case study on why designers shouldn't be in management in any kind of tech enterprise.

it looks like a gaming mouse

It's not a cult it's capitalism, fuck off commie.

Youtube is full of creators who make 6 figures from ad-revenue and still open patreons (and people donate to it)

Is it any good now? I remember it was a pile of shit at release

Sounds like a great game to grief in.

capitalism is a cult, you're just so low in the ranks that you're not able to see that.

Maybe he is talking out of his ass but there are people like this.

Kek so in the end you could buy fuel?
My fucking sides
What is the difference between buying the fuel and buying the money to buy the fuel?

Yeah except for the fact that it’s very much a P2W model and you’ll be at a major disadvantage against someone whose spent any amount of money. Maybe if Yea Forums and others band together to make a swarm of “FtP” fighters

This patch is ok. 3.4 was top of the line pvp.

Kickstarter has led to some cool products in the end, but yeah this is essentially what most creative projects are sold on sadly

Sounds good, but hows the gamplay in general now? Still boring running around and mining woth nothing else on top?

Wow the shilling in this video is insane:
youtube.com/watch?v=RgjTf41QAnY
Yes it's a sponsored channel but omg it's fucking nothing.

Attached: eggdog.png (343x508, 169K)

>Still boring running around and mining woth nothing else on top?
Yes. There’s still no real “gameplay” to speak of

>Okay so after looking through the store and finding that you cannot in fact purchase fuel
Sorry to invalidate your paranoia but it wasn't me before, disliking your shitty cult is pretty commonplace.
>Well go ahead and be literally the only person who'd buy credits for fuel
You really are desperate aren't you? Hiding purchases behind funbux (which are also locked to the game and cannot be converted back to real money easily) is standard kikery in games nowadays, that's how they all work.
>Fuel costs nothing, you can more than make enough in game to fund fuel costs, FAR more. Fuel may as well not exist.
Funny you say that because right after you say:
>Those aren't made for traveling in atmosphere, its why the large ships have hangers with small ships for plant shit.
Right, they aren't made for atmospheric travel thanks to fuel being very expensive if you do. So fuel does indeed matter, and I guess that they aren't made for atmospheric travel unless you buy fuel then, whales willing to put in the money can then land their big ships wherever the fuck they want.
>But keep calling me a cultist
Thanks I will.

Attached: 1559390368761.jpg (252x291, 17K)

>Right, they aren't made for atmospheric travel thanks to fuel being very expensive if you do.
No they aren't made for atomsopheric travel because of their mass, it takes them more than thirty minutes to leave some of the larger planets. It has nothing to do with fuel cost.

But continue to shitpost.

Can you get these ingame without spending real money?

>273 dollar dinner
>it's like a cheap restaurant or something
I was expecting like an actual banquet hall or something, like at a hotel.

If you think a $675.00 mine layer is ridiculous, thats a perfectly valid opinion, so don't buy the ship. You are not missing out, if its something you have to have then buy it in-game. Most of the ship prices in game will cost you maybe a few hours of missions for a $100 equivalent ship.

So is there anything that actually stops you from landing them on planets beside fuel cost and time, latter being basically meaningless anyway since you can just go make a cup of coffee?

The whales have made it very clear that they're willing to eat shit.

There seems to be two gameplay loops right now. Trading and killing traders. Traders are trying to perfect their ability to accrue massive amounts of in-game currency before launch and pirates are stream sniping and patrolling the most profitable outposts for said traders. It's pretty funny when you and your bros shoot down a ship full of high price cargo, and it sets back the trader for days.

Pvp dueling is kinda fun too, reminds me of armored core arena matches, and the fighter community really feels like a bunch of ravens. Add to that component and weapon customization and it has some extreme armored core vibes in that respect.

I'm sure you can, just grind for 400 hours. I'm sure the devs have made it as mind-numbingly boring as possible to make sure you just shell out, just like they did in Shadow of War before they patched out the microtransactions.

"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the great masses of the gamer people

That doesn’t attack the meat of the other anons argument, you’re backpedalling like a pussy because you went from
>it’s impractical
To
>it’s inconvenient
Whales have better planetary access with their deep pockets than an average Joe Schmoe, regardless of the practicality of it. One party has an elevated level of convenience because they have money to blow on fuel

>ART team
>ART
>literally admitting its just a JPG sale

Attached: file.png (1280x960, 485K)

I don't play the game and won't touch it with a ten foot pole, but to me it also sounds like being able to land a big ship on a planet has huge advantages. First off, in terms of cargo, landing a big ship with everything on it will be better than having a shuttle go back and forth 10 times, both in terms of repetition and in terms of time. Secondly, according to what says, I imagine having your ship on the surface is a lot safer than just sitting in orbit waiting.

Why are the poor people always so anally devastated?

Never, since everyone on the inside is saying the real reason shit's going pear shaped is Chris micromanaging everything to hell and back, scrapping hundreds of man hours on a whim when devs fail to read his mind, and then constantly expanding the scope of the game even while falling miles behind on core features. In short, he's just ridiculously unfit for this job, it's not actually fraud.

No, but for ships that aren't designed for PlanetSide operation, they will become beached on the planet.

Man, i wish i was rich. I would threw away money and had fun from retards fighting over it AND even more fun from retards seething over me.

It looks like a school cafeteria.

Jesus Christ the delusion in this is insane. It’s basically a dude rambling about the spectacle of seeing a high fidelity city, and the freedom to do whatever within. Never mind the fact that it’s procedurally generated, and anyone with any sense knows that nearly everything he’s describing is poor game design. The poor souls that have sunk thousands into this.

The other day someone posted a 5 hour “gameplay” video that was little more than cruising a ship around and waiting in hyperspace

You can't even walk around on ships in No Man's Sky. Freighter doesn't count, you can't even fly that.

No, if you don't mind the wait time you can just go ahead and go in atmosphere, it would obviously cost more fuel but fuel is completely negetable, unless as I stated before you're a brainlet who is trying to make money to fund a large ship by doing small reward missions in a starter single seater. The biggest ships will take more than an hour to leave an earth-like planet, but also as stated earlier nobody will do this because these ships come with small ships inside for such things, and failing that you can use the player mission system to get a taxi.
General cargo can be delivered to anywhere, including space stations, so you're not going to need to taxi cargo back and forth into a planetary system unless the price is really worth it, in which case you'd hire an escort. Mission cargos meanwhile that require delivery to a planet you'd simply not use a giant capital ship for such things, you'd use a cargo ship that has more than enough for any mission of that type, while being able to get in and out of planets quick enough.

Kek

Now we just need to figure out how to blast Woody's got Wood over the intercom of ships you're hitchhiking and I'll have a reason to play this game.

Negligible in terms of gameplay experience. Besides, you don’t need to walk around in your model when hyperspace takes the time to load an area instead of a fictional “realistic” hyperspace time of 5-10 minutes

you sign a contract saying you are aware of what you are buying and rescind any right of refunding it.
doesn't matter what happens next, no layer you can afford can win a case were they have proof of your actions

Are you really braindead enough to not see a problem with devs charging thousands of dollars for content for a game thats not done being made?

People enjoy exclusivity.

Real talk wont happen, as long chris and his lawyer shows up with the document that all the crowdfunding money was spent towards making the game they are ok.... Of course theres stuff that has to be justified. Like for example it wouldnt surprise me if chris had his salary set to be over 100k a month or some crazy shit seeing as the game is nearing 300m in crowdfunding.

No user, Bethesda is working on Starfield, not Fallout

>user in claims you "have to pay real money for fuel for your ships"

That's not just moving the goalposts, that's a straight lie about the discussion to fit a narrative

There's Notch and then there's this guy. Who would you rather be?

>Upset that someone is providing something that another person is willing to pay for
Are you a fucking commie? Welcome to America, faggot. If there wasn't a demand, there would be no supply.

>implying I'm going to read any of that
The matter has already been settled user. You can buy fuel with real money and fuel matters, that's it, there's no if or but.

Fuel isn't even important honestly, you can buy in-game money with real money, which means you can buy literally anything in the game and anyone willing to do so can skip ahead of everyone else.

>>implying I'm going to read any of that
Now this is an user who knows how to win an argument.

You act like any of this is good game design, when it absolutely is not. Autism truly leads to the worst games

Your own fault for assuming it was ever an argument. The button to buy credits is right there on the webpage.

I wish it was everything its fans wanted and more. I spent the first years cautiously optimistic even as clear signs of resource mismanagement and feature creep were already seeping through the woodwork. But now that we know the project is already at the end of its budget and it's not even out of pre-alpha, it's time to just admit we've got a dumpster fire on our hands and get what laffs we can out of its desparate fans.

Your premise is contingent on the idea it's still possible SC will succeed.

>You act like any of this is good game design
Where in any part of my post did I claim it was good, or bad, game design? I'm simply telling people how things work. If you wanted my opinion, sure. I don't think its 'bad' design, but its not for me. Grinding from one rock to another doesn't interest me, I'm more interested in waiting for the single player.
Shut up retard I stopped paying attention to shitposts ages ago. Start samefagging to your posts or something if you're that desperate for attention.

Seething.

i didn't say stop

We'll probably get another five years of "Th-they're fixing it as we speak! Y-you can't expect a game this AMBITIOUS to just work at release!"

Bros, i can't fucking wait when it will all explode, i can't fucking wait for all those articles and angry people. I can't even wait for all those copy/paste roasting youtube videos. It's going to be glorious.

Attached: 1402624852630.jpg (640x527, 61K)

Can't wait to frag all you poorfags in my armored mine layer. Keep in mind the mines will be undetectable by radar.

>stop being poor goy
that's not the point dummy, the thing here is they literally suck people "horrendous" ammounts of money from people, and they're literally happy bout that

Attached: ami is a slut.png (120x320, 67K)

We can point and laugh at people we perceive as stupid and ignorant can we not?

I've stopped feeling sorry for them. It's incredibly pathetic and they deserve what they get.

Agreed

Attached: EB434576-F699-4788-AFC0-3B9F4C9189A0.gif (128x128, 10K)

Who said Im mad?
Everytime I see Scamcitizen scamming people I find it hilarious

But they have insurance so even if you kill them they get their ship right back. What fantastic game design

>the mines will be undetectable by radar.
Because they'll forget to implement them until months after the fact because they're too busy putting out all the other spot fires.

GRIM-WAH

Notch's only problem is he's somehow beta enough to still be an incel even as a billionaire. Besides that, he's done nothing wrong and doesn't bother anyone. If you don't want to listen to him, just don't follow his twitter. He doesn't ask anything of anyone.

Chris Roberts is taking financial advantage of dumb boomers.

you got btfo, answer his question, has star citizen been scrapped and retarded multiple times? If yes, you've got a point, if not, you're a tard

When the game actually gets a public release, why would anyone play when there are going to be a bunch of whales flying around in ships that outclass anything you can afford to start with?

I have 500 dollars in and I want the project to die and Chris be held accountable. Tired of this bullshit.

The only people playing WILL be the whales.

They'll have no other choice because every other space-sim will be vastly inferior. It will be, in a word, epic.

>who's laughing at forum dads now?!? *pew-pew* take that, zoomers! *kaboom*

I can't wait.

>post SC was restarted
>ask when?
>LOL DUDE YOU GOT BTFO, TELL US WHEN IT WAS RESTARTED
are you ok or the strain of coming up with a comeback for a 2 hour post made irreversible damage?

Its doomed at its very core.
You have a core of whales that will likely dominate the game, and everyone will scream p2w and avoid It like the plague

Then the only ones playing it will be whales sucking eachothers off like a saudi arabian kid at a super rich yacht club

That is, if it ever releases properly and not Just remain forever in development state

>close to beta status

nigger the alpha is barely an alpha, they have things that can't even interact with each other yet, like completely different parts of the game they need to figure out how to merge.

Time for another reminder I see

Attached: 080722.jpg (692x3195, 500K)

>like completely different parts of the game they need to figure out how to merge.
What are you talking about? Their merged everything a long time ago.

>Its a food analogy
>It doesn't even fit
What does this have to do with Star Citizen?

I'd rather just not play, and I think most other people will too.

>The only thing you can do ingame is fly around, deliver some cargo here and there and blow up ships for no real reason

Great game so far

A lot of the people who throw their money away on retarded shit like this don't seem very intelligent nor indeed very good with money.

So how do they have so much of it to throw away?

I know there's a case for complete omega males who literally do nothing in their lives outside of work and spending inordinate amount of money on their very specific hobbies - is that the case here?

Like they don't actually have good jobs they just don't spend their money on anything other than shit like this.

note: i'm not saying saving money is bad, but i'm saying this use of it isn't intelligent or good money management

Like will people just tell me to cope because I don't have the money to throw around?

Fair enough, I'm probably not great with money either, but investing in a clear scam is ridiculous. How many fucking hours do these retards think they'll be playing the game for? Imagine putting thousands into the game, then playing for about 50 hours before getting bored.

space sims are really niche, people will just play their 20 year old games like they already do

Honest question here bro. Are you high? Because you talk like a fag and your shits all retarded.

>deflecting this hard
Dumb NPCs

Attached: hey-pal-youjust-blowinfromstupid-town-you-just-blow-in-from-52027758.png (500x516, 116K)

You dont need to be rich to throw thousands in this
All you need is a good job and no kids/wife/real expenditures other than housing and food, you should save enough to put thousands into this shit each month

Hence why most faggots at that Restaurant were overweight boomers or near-boomerd

Again, what are you talking about? You're saying they need to merge stuff. They've already done that. Combat, first person combat, hangers and space/planets are all merged.

Its almost like you're basing your opinion on the game on an incredibly out dated (By more than a year) information. But that can't be true, that'd be silly.

You can keep pretending those actually work

with how much money the game has collected, how high the expectations are, and how long the development time is. its a recipe for shit to never leave alpha

game is practically a money laundering scheme

Trainwiz is going to finish his memelancer first, isn't he?

And you're backtracking, sad.

Cope

If it doesnt work, it isnt merged
That simple

Now write another 1k check for robert to help him fix the miles long bug list

>it isnt merged
prove it faggot

Dilate
Seethe
Cope

>Accept mission
>Get in ship
>Take off
>Go to a place
>Engage in space combat
>Engage in ground combat
>Somehow this isn't 'merged'
Okay buddy. Okay. It isn't merged. You won, you didn't just get caught out spouting laughably out dated knowledge of the game, you won. I'm a dirty cultist who spend millions of dollars on the game. You got me.

Attached: 1490735034922.png (576x334, 252K)

Have Sex

Billy told me Star Citizen isn't a scam, and that all the haters are just n-words and poorfags.

Poor people are poor because they're stupid and waste their money.

>Get in ship
>Ship explodes
>Go to a place
>Get kicked into space
>Engage in space combat
>Spin uncontrollably on collision
>Land somewhere
>Ship fly by itself and explode on a cliff

Epic experience

is the demo free to play?
if not, is there a way I can pirate it?
wanna see for myself what the fuss is about

Attached: baffled.png (392x334, 247K)

You shouldn't be hanging out with people who use the n word, user, such as black people.

>Its doomed at its very core
This. The entire design is fucked from a gameplay perspective. The time it takes to travel through hyperspace is one good example that reflects the issues in the rest of the game

Whats the status of the sp campaign?

Thats the only thing I ever cared about.

>The modules aren't even merged
>Yes they are
>B-But the game is buggy

Attached: moving-the-goalposts-300x2402.jpg (300x240, 29K)

Why aren't people calling them out on twitter or some other social media for being a fucking scam?

There is more footage of it out now and it looks like wing commander level of comfy but it isn't out yet.

You have apologist defending them here, what makes you think it won't be worse in social media?

It's so clearly fucking insane that it is STILL going on, but I say good for them. Like, honestly, if you have that kind of money to blow for something only slightly more than the minimum for "tangible," do it. Who the fuck cares.

If "a fool and his money are soon parted," let the fool be parted with his money, and hopefully he ceases to be a fool. If he continues, shame on him.

Just look at this thread
Cultist persecute and shut down any attempt of calling out chris robert
They point at their 20 min long bugged as fuck gameplay loop as proof that the game is being worked with the utmost dedication and you are being unfair to their patron saint

Thanks for the money goys, we enjoy the $12,000 expresso machine.

It's going to fail whether we want it or not, so we might as well enjoy watching.

Yeah, it probably needs some big name among normies calling them out. Someone like pewdiepie maybe, that would probably open their eyes.

Jesus Christ it's huge .

I think most people got tired and just went "ok, only fucking braindead retards will keep throwing money at them anyway"

>game announced in 2012
>official release in 2014
>it's 2019
>still nothing to show for it
Why can't people put 2 and 2 together and realize the game isn't coming out?

What are the chances I can sue for my money back if this doesnt deliver on what's promised?

The cult defends it with tooth and nails

Not that many people give a fuck about the game at this point , its like watching that monkey eating shit at the zoo, you go , look at it for amusement, then you proceed with your life until you remember it and have a laugh again

What is Bloo doing with my gf?

Sounds like what happened to Firefall with Mark Kern at the helm.

Attached: Firefall_bus_parked_at_AX_2012_rear_quarter_view.jpg (2592x1944, 823K)

It really doesnt matter
The game will flop anyway, only autists and whales will play it, im just here to laugh at the defenders

What do whales even do with the ships they keep buying? Don't you only control one ship at a time?

Attached: kiwi.jpg (475x475, 47K)

No
Are you retarded?

I doubt they have any money to give back.

You can play it right now.

What's the point? The only people who are left supporting the game are the ones who refuse to see reason because they're too emotionally/financially invested.

Dock them and feel like you've accomplished something in life.

Nobody fucking knows. As of right now it's MIA.

They probably have no cash, every single penny likely goes into the ethereal "R&D" tab or CR Cayman bank account

If anyone sues for a significant sum and win they would just declare bankruptcy

but he's right though

>Have people empty their pension and college funds, in some cases ending marriges.
>Have wife in top position so she can swim in endless piles of shoes.
>Have meetings for members who want to know the truth of coming events that bring them closer to Space Eden. But only for those who can see the light and know it's just to give the divine one more $.
How in the flying fuck is this not a cult by now.

I thought they already shifted to labeling every transaction as a donation

300 million. Not half a million. Not yet. Hopefully it does before it reaches that.

absolute brainlet take

They call it donations to protect their asses while they charge vat and treat it like a purchase. It's a literal scam.

I think most of them are just concept art at this point

I have waited for many trains. The anticipation is a central point of such classic works as Samuel Becket's Waiting for Godot. The train itself is a vehicle for a journey, and the journey is both means to the end as well as the end itself.
Yes, it takes a special kind of maturity to enjoy waiting for the train.

They have shit loads of lawyers on board. They've probably hidden the tax evasion.

Der Boomer

Just think, a bunch of boomers are spending thousands of dollars on Star Citizen to relive their Wing Commander fantasies instead of giving the money to their children.

It’s basically a RV or muscle car for old nerds. Nobody ever got poor selling wish fulfillment to clueless boomers.

What should I do if someone I know is a cultist?

Steal their stuff and pee in their sink

Whattaboutism will get you nowhere commie.

Like a three day smash tournament on the third day, in Florida, during the hottest muggiest part of summer, set outside in a canvas tent.

point and laugh
what else you gunna do?

It’s been a cult for years man. Not to mention the game’s economy is completely fucked before most of it has been implemented. But they’re not selling a game they’re selling a dream.

You missed the best part. The ship isn't even in the game yet. It's a mine sweeping ship. Mines aren't in the game. Also you can't make a crew big enough to work the ship

>it would be a really impressive game if they actually managed to fulfill their vision.
I think that's Peter Molyneux's best pickup line.

If I buy it, I can hire a crew of zoomers who need jobs in the game to afford the ships their parents won't buy for them, and then I'll be a real captain.

The picture is stating that grizzly bears will fuck you up.

The best part is that the gameplay is years away.

>None, UEC is the in game credits.
Which you can buy for real money?

Laugh at them at any opportunity
Just like these threads

Then they'll organize mutiny and boot you in space

Honestly? Nothing. It's absolutely impossible to open their eyes. They have to get absolutely fucked over by the cult for something to happen. And even then they can still follow them. I honestly don't understand how did these people even made it into adulthood.

Yeah. It's something like 25 dollars for 20k credits.

are you stupid?

here comes the cultist

There's likely an upcoming free fly event in november

Why do i feel so angry looking at this picture? It shouldn't make me angry, it's just bunch of retarded sheep.

Cut all ties and never speak with them again. Do it before they come for you next

Can you provide examples of this?

Okay yes you are being ironic, thank you for clarifying

>Thinking free market will work in a post marxist 56% white country

Are there any non scam games where I can pilot a mine laying vechile, whether in space, air, land or see

Legatus class here, they're still cooking dinner but it's gonna be amazing.

Just a reminder that people were making fun of Scam Citizen more than 4 years ago for being a fucking scam. And it's still can't be even considered alpha.

Cool nickname bro.

>leftists.jpg
Its amazing what culture we have online nowadays, kids are being brain washed to consider anything they don't like to be leftist, and anything 'based' to be conservitive, even on things like this. There is nothing more conservitive than capalism. Leftists are brain washing against that stuff, dumbie.

So this is what a godless society looks like
wow end times cant come soon enough

He really is. I have a twisted sort of respect for people like him. They're despicable, but I admire their ruthless brilliance.

Some of these people might have been young, fit and happy when they first donated.

not that guy but if you ever want to laugh at cultist behavior, you can look up just about any Star Citizen article in the last 5 years and you'll find a guy named Joe Blobers in the comments rabidly defending any perceived negative comments about the game

Hey, at least the shrine is real.

At least anime nerds have actual products to enjoy instead of empty, promises and endless stretch goals.

I did not pledge and I feel great.

oi, don't be comparing Elite to this scam, Elite is the best spacesim out there to this day

If they were actually a bit self aware and made a ship called "Heaven's Gate" I would actually approve of this nonsense.

Theoretically you can grind for 6 hours a day for months to get a decent ship but you can BET that CIG wants you to spend money in their store.

Can you something-pill me on Elite?

>How the FUCK can Star Citizen keep getting away with this?
Sunk cost fallacy
Sense of exclusivity
Desire to be findommed
Genuine delusion

This ain't real
right?

Only a cultist would get this defensive.

Elite is boring as fuck.

So yes I guess it simulates space pretty well in that regard.

>Elite is the best spacesim out there to this day
OH NO NO NO

Attached: 1515781822403.jpg (300x300, 17K)

I'm not usually in favour of government or authorities getting involved but this is genuinely ridiculous and manipulative at this point. Poor suckers are getting sucked in just the same as they would with pyramid schemes and straight up scams. Why is it allowed when it's videogames?

Fucking retard, he is making fun about people wasting their money.

>starcitizen drone is also illiterate
makes sense to me.

That's not a fair comparison.Even Elite Dangerous has less content than commodore 64 Elite.

Remember the i apologize neckbeard at blizzcon? This room is fulled with them. I bet not a single person asked when is the game coming out.

>250$ dinner
>in a high school canitna
Jesus Christ, Roberts really has no scruples.

Watch the film Kumare for some added perspective. It's quite entertaining.

So it stands as an example and a lesson against this developer attitude of 'Bigger bigger bigger! Make it BIGGER!'

Attached: 1565961895947.jpg (700x1034, 685K)

To be fair, some (a small minority) at that event did try to get away but were forced to drink.

>pay a 275 dollars dinner for a bunch of retards that are known to have spent thousands of dollars already
>reveal new exclusive item that they are sure to buy by 675 dollars
>profit 400 dollars per idiot who attended
Genius, really.

Attached: 1451103461865.gif (500x540, 200K)

you are either ignorant or just pretending to be

>implying they're not making bank on the dinner admission itself

scientology citizen

>profit 400 dollars per idiot who attended
your math makes no sense. the 275 per retard most certainly pays off the dinner (and most likely includes some profits too, since they're dining in some shitty school).
thus they would at least make 675 per retard if not more

I have a friend that is about 600 € deep on this game , has about a half dozen ships for himself and also bought some 25€ years ago to give to us and try to entice us to check the game.

He still now and then sends memes about the game to the groupchats.

Attached: WhatsApp Image 2019-08-13 at 17.10.20.jpg (719x720, 38K)

>some profits
that dinner is at least $225 profit per plate, an 81% profit margin is better than most vidya

Not sure if it's still the case, but didn't you used to have to spend over $1000 on the game before you could even get to the page for buy jpgs of expensive ships.

Attached: dfs456jhg.png (781x1001, 405K)

It's Eurotruck Simulator, except there's not much to see in space. But at least they managed to release the game they promised with the Kickstarter bucks they got.

Regardless of everything else, wouldn't buy ships take away half the point of playing the game? What would you have to build up to if you just buy all the best shit from the getgo?

>has about a half dozen ships

Correction, user: he "has" nothing at all. Nothing more than a promise from a liar.

Art team includes the 3D models.

You get to roll around the game telling other players how you are a VIP because you supported the game. It's all about ego.

I keep seeing missions for stuff like "Haul 2000 tons of bio-waste to this station" and I wonder who are the people doing this stuff.

Don't get upset about this, it's a form a natural selection. Smart people are just siphoning money from dumb man children, there's nothing really wrong with it infact I'd argue that all paid cosmetics, microtransactions etc are a great thing because they limit the agency of retards who have no impulse control and benefit the programmers, artists, etc of today who actually have brains

>How is this money laundering?
>take illegal money
>buy a space ship for 12k from yourself using illegal money
>you now have 12k -tax in legal money

>, it's a form a natural selection.
It isn't because these people are all rich. They're not being selected.

No, because then, the entire industry shifts gears into making products designed to siphon those retards, and good games stop being made altogether.

Now you only need a retard to pay those 12k back for the ship
Good luck with that

It's just your typical gameplay loop. Do job -> get money -> upgrade gear -> do bigger jobs
I got it on sale and clocked 80 hours. I don't get the people who sink hundreds into it though.

>take illegal money
>buy a space ship for 12k from yourself using illegal money
>you now have a worthless jpeg - tax
ftfy retard

Why is fuel even a fucking thing in this game? Why would you add a mechanic that, at its very best, is an annoying nuisance that slogs the gameplay?

So this is going to be the thing that takes down Kickstarter, right?

>buy a spaceship FROM YOURSELF
you guys missed that part. you pretend to be an outsider buyer and give yourself 12k for a jpeg spaceship. you now have 12k legally.

Fuck off, retard. Roberts is a hack with no other source of income. Unless you believe he is a cocaine kingpin the money laundering line makes no sense.

Nah, this crap has outgrown kickstarter long ago
But it would teach a lesson to many I hope

yeah i personally dont think hes doing anything but i was just trying to explain how it would work to the brainlets

Auto-pilot helps. It's a great game to play while reading a book, or learning the guitar.

No, you have a fucking jpg, not an investment. You just threw money away

user, do you not know what money laundering is?

He is saying that Chris Robert is buying jpegs from himself.

are you dumb? how do you think laundromat and restaraunt money laundering schemes work? the guy who owns the businesses says "yeah customers totally bought 10,000 washes and 10,000 dinners thats how i got all this money". in order to create a valid papertrail they edit their books and create fake transactions buy selling crap to themselves.

Of course Chris Robert the famous Swedish mafia boss how could i forget

Yes, use dirty money in legal business that have a legal, free to use, return of the investment

at least direct them to the appropriate board, /pol/

Is it though? You're just seeing a number go up doing the same repetitive shit.

I made 'creative use of game mechanics' to lessen the grind significantly and got the money I needed to buy the best ships. There's fuckall you can do in the game with them. It was incredibly disappointing.

Even if they ever release the game, at this point they have inflated the prices of ships so much, I don't believe they can backtrack from making this shit hardcore pay to win. Players who only bought the base game will need to grind for a year for a high end ship or else the whales will cry.

I thought the mafia just liked having free pasta available.

Star Citizen is a social experiment to see how economic class disparity plays out in a virtual universe, and how long such a system can play out before collapsing.

Well yeah if it's Chris who is laundering money it would make sense.

Some user is really upset about SC right now aren't they? What's this like the 4th thread in 24 hours?

so this is about 63,000 dollars in this picture minimum?

You never know, maybe he's hiding it well.

chris roberts uses dirty money to buy products from himself and creates legal profits. what do you not understand here? he pays himself 12k for a spaceship. on the books he loses a spaceship and gains $12,000 dollars. he now has a legal, free to use, $12,000 dollars

Actually, yeah, I am mad. Because this is the type of shit that starts to spill over into the general audience and soon every video game will follow this trend.

>mad
I'm just baffled at the amount of money that keeps getting poured into a pre-release game that shows no sign of entering release status any time soon.

user, you're an illiterate

the premise is that the Star Citizen team is laundering money -- real people don't actually buy all these virtual ships at these prices, but if you run the money through your own business, whatever money you had before now has a "legitimate" origin (eg, game sales instead of literal scamming or drugs or whatever, doesn't matter, as long as the money wasn't obtained by legal means)

You know, normally I hate on these types of photos and stuff like everyone else but lookinh at it I realized something.

These are all normal probably straight white guys who are having fun and enjoying themselves and not the normal tranny angry bullshit you guys normally post. So how you gonna hate on that? Are you all trannies here?

user, I hate everyone.

>most abundant element in the universe
>still have to pay more than a hundred thousand jew credits for it

Try 4 years ago

Imagine spending thousands on space ships you'll never see or use

You would need a wealthy base of players who want that niche game though user. No one is gonna crowdfund the next fortnite for a few hundred mil

Cope.

Who hurt you?

Everyone, I just said it.

>firefall
Fuck, why'd you have to go and remind me of this game. What could've been
it still hurts how much potential this game had and then they shat all over it

>$675 a one-time purchase
That's not bad, you should see shitty gacha games like Dream of Mirror Online
>all the WoW-ish end-game modding requires paying for materials in excess of over $100 per armor piece

Can you scoop it from stars at least?

Imagine spending thousands...

on rent for a home you'll never own
on food because you're too lazy to cook
on clothes every year because you gotta be fashionable
on alcohol so you can cope
on whores because you're a fat faggot on Yea Forums
etc.

The ironic thing about this image is that it’s more suited for Libertarian philosophies than leftist

Wont happen. The game will release and it will technically have all the promised features but even if it is good it wont live up to expectations.

You can actually arrange some decent events in those while keeping the costs down. This university club I used to hang around in arranged an anniversary party in one of the uni cafeterias since they had a catering service for events, the dinner part was less than $50 a pop including full service and some decently good food and plenty of drink, the staff even spruced up the place to hide its cafeteria origins. It wasn't anything really fancy but still a damn good time, especially considering how much was included in that price.

$275 for that is just absolutely remorseless in comparison. He just laid down the absolute barest minimum for it to be considered a "dinner".

Join a more powerful cult and make them jealous.

sadly, bannerlord

>will technically have all the promised features
yeah no

he said "technically'.

imagine the smell

and I said "yeah no"

Elder Scrolls

both marxists and capitalists are materialists
they just disagree on who should control what

name one feature and I'll tell you how easy it is to technically have it

It all stems from the lack of religion which is very much a modern leftist pillar.

Despite how long it has been in production, I though it would come out before Bannerlord entered early access.

So, there really are people stupid enough to buy whatever a corporation sells to you and worst of all, will defend it wholeheartedly

Pathetic

Oh, i'm not saying it can't be done, I'm saying they won't fucking do it, or they will "scale it down".

youll see and use literally every single one of those lmao. thats literally the difference

>"scale it down".
Which is technically having it.

Profits.

>tfw didn't back Star Citizen
>if it never comes out, I get to laugh at SC fags
>if it comes out and is shit, I get to laugh at SC fags
>if it comes out and is an alright game that doesn't live up to its promises, I can choose to buy it and enjoy it for what it is while also laughing at the disappointed backers
>if it comes out and lives up to all the hype and delivers on all of its promises (it won't), then I can thank the paypigs for beta testing it for me

man, you made me miss college.

Yeah but you won't have a million acres of space land so you can't be a space feudal king from day one and will be forced to do space labor for enjoyment!

There must have been a Jew or several involved in the orchestration of that.

based retard

N-no! Y-you're a tranny!

paypig lmao

Maybe not, but I'll still have a full bank account and an intact sense of self-respect.

I live in my home
I eat my food
I wear my clothes
I drink my alcohol
And fuck my whores

You still cant play with your digital space ships

That's not how it works. Promising X and then delivering Y saying "by the way we changed X with Y" doesn't mean they TEKHNICALLIE have X.

Try phrasing it differently and I may agree.

Still better than a Smash tournament

Club activities are honestly the absolute best part of student life, you get the chance to do so much wonderful stuff you'd probably never get a chance to see otherwise. I really should go hang out at the ol' clubroom again, I've still got a bit of studying left.

SC proves that you can promise anything and nobody asks questions.

Is critical thinking dead? No I don't want to have faith. I want receipts.

>tfw I know someone who defends SC

He really doesn't want to come to terms that he been scammed

Atheism was a Mistake
It causes people to find ''''''''''''''''''''alternatives''''''''''''''''''''' which lead to spiritual dead ends and corporate bait and switches

Okay, imagine if Roberts promised alien factions. Now, I haven't actually looked at Star Citizen's roadmap in what feels like a decade, so maybe he has and maybe he hasn't. Regardless, if at some point in development he realizes he can't actually make interesting ayys, he decides he'll technically still have alien factions by having a couple of small alien encounters in the game world. It's not what anyone imagined or wanted, but it's technically the truth.

ushiro. but at least level-5 isn't begging for kickstarter money.

people who bought with real money get ship insurance so they never really lose them

Point them toward EVE. At least when they blow thousands of dollarydoos on ships there, they can say they had them at one point.

Not going to happen because even in worst case scenario, they run out of funds and release a broken beta as the finalized product. And as long as they do that, they can't be sued since they did deliver on the "promise."

>$1000 ship purchase to be eligible
>$275 to attend
>not even a black tie event

What the fuck is wrong with people?

Hi I'm Chris Roberts I haven't made a successful videogame in 20 years. I completely fucked up my last game Freelancer.
Now give me LOTS OF MONEY. Because reasons.

this made me sad :(

>Potatomoto
oh yeah this comic is circa back when Miyamoto was actually doing things

majority of people forgot about this game in 2012 after it was first revealed. this game has no place in 2019.

there's at least a few possible trannies in that picture

Maybe furries but the trannies don't have interest.

Dwarf Fortress (still not finished)

You could play it all the time. though.

That's not how money laundering works. If you wanted to launder money with a business, you would just report more revenue than you actually made, padding the difference with dirty money. You wouldn't do something stupid like buy overpriced goods/services from yourself, because that's an unnecessary tax double-dip at best and an obvious paper trail at worst.

It actually astounds me how illiterate Yea Forums is about scams and schemes in their dimwit attempts to make SC anything other than an obvious fundraising scam.

It triggers peoples impulse decision making, which is basically how you do stupid things like sleep with that girl from that weird party you went to with a friend and now you may or may not have herpes but you're too afraid to go to the doctor to get it looked at because you don't wanna confirm what you already know deep down inside oh god what have i done

Well, at least I didn't buy into star citizen :^)

I generally block channels like this just off the title and thumbnail and never have to watch them or see them

How new are you to life, user? Tons of people are fucking dumb.

>wake up
>spend 15 minutes riding an internet bus to the internet-spaceport
>wait 5 minutes like a cuck for the game to spawn your ship
>cant get in it lmao doors are bugged open
>have to go back
>get another ship
>another 5 minutes
>another elevator ride
>climb into space
>get bored turn it off
THE REVOLUTION
...IS HERE
...THE FUTURE....

IS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAA

actual cultist

No that really does count as fraud, major incompitence is not something that gets you out of it. If people were cabable of delivering what they promise then pyramid schemes wouldn't be frauds. And this is not different anymore, they are basically funding a pyramid scheme now that bases its income on something they promise will be delivered soon except the money is used to run things as they are now instead of used in something that would produce something in the future.

>hehe, maybe if I act like paying for food, clothing and housing is just as stupid as paying thousands on an IOU with a video game spaceship scribbled on the front, people won't notice that that's completely retarded on the face of it

Wish I didn't read this. I'm emotionally unstable and easily swayed. Day is ruined, shitty, depressing story. Why would somebody make this.

Pyramid schemes are fraudulent because anyone capable of creating a pyramid scheme knows full-well that the promises made are impossible to fulfill.

Also, I have no idea how SC could be considered a pyramid scheme. I'm not convinced you know what a pyramid scheme is, or else you're using "basically funding a pyramid scheme" in some of the loosest terms possible.

How the fuck do you not know if you have herpes?

>Pyramid schemes are fraudulent because anyone capable of creating a pyramid scheme knows full-well that the promises made are impossible to fulfill.

christ. the ability to verify or fact check anything your about to say has literally never been closer and yet, complete fuckwads still manage to post shit like this.

>Intact sense of self-respect.
Be honest with yourself. Do you really have that?

mate, google variations of herpes. something like 1 in 4 people have a version of herpes. its just what type.

>download JPEG of a spaceship
>photoshop a random explosion onto it lmao
>thousands of views guaranteed from sois
is there anything more obnoxiously fucking stupid than a """"""youtuber""""
