That's an extra 24k for your retirement fund, that's without taking into account interest rates from investing. Easily 40-50k extra with interest for your retirement, on top of whatever else you will be saving.

I also prefer to pay for indie stuff instead of AAA
Multiplayer games are mostly shit so why buy them in the first place while there are free to play multiplayers?

They try to do this somewhat in 7th generation at the end and went full-blown crazy with it at 8th gen with all these free to play games and online MMOs
Don't you got to see the writing on the wall? It's easy money from every angle of a publisher. Then since they couldn't get every consumer with that since some people don't play online they put microtransactions in them even single player.
