it basically already is. all of the top 1000 popular channels are literally owned and run by TV stations/channels/studios.
When you get to a certain amount of subscribers or popularity some tv studio eventually contacts you and asks if they can buy out your channel. usually they'll replace you with some of their own actors as well.
t.buddy of mine makes and sells youtube channels for a living this way, by basically coming up with new ideas for channels/videos and selling the concept to whoever'll fucking buy it.

If you have an android phone download Newpipe, its a youtube app that lets you watch vids without ads, play videos in the bakground and also download them in either mp3 or mp4 format. You gotta download another app first but its worth it, its open source so theres no bullshit plus its great to use. Havent used the native youtube app in years.

The problem is YouTube used to only run ads on partnered channels, and paid higher dividends, so those channels that had ads didn't need to shill within the actual video. Nos youtube puts two ads STANDARD at the front and back of any video of note, while immediately running it through the copyright algorithms which in a flash can turn hours of work into a giant waste of time before the video is even really seen. All of this is YouTube's fault.
