Just having things to do, most mmos make you play like 1hr a day, or 5-8 hours a week and that's it, you're fucked, there's nothing to do. WoW has enough time sinks to keep you busy forever, and if you're ever done you can do it all over again on an alt.

I'm 36 KHV, if I didn't solve it until now I'll probably never will, this thing is the only thing keeping me alive at this point. I'm not a fun person, I find it hard to stay motivated, don't tell me to just go lift and clean, it doesn't work for me, nothing works no one likes me, I an barely engage in minimal social interaction online just to slay digital monsters in a group.
