Yes.
based
Unironically yes
Game looks cool. If it's on PC I'll get it
woah is that MARS
Probably Arizona.
If the environments are pretty yeah
If I had a PS4 I'd get it, aesthetically it looks great, the designs and whatnot are really cool and from what I've I've heard the ost looks to be interesting, as does the plot. Obviously they haven't tipped their hand entirely when it comes to the gameplay but I'm sure whatever's done will be done well.
b*sed and r*dp*lled
I sure am
Ill play it on youtube before I buy.
There are more autistic games out there. I see no problem.
I seriously cannot wait for Yea Forums's autistic sperging to get proven wrong once again, when this game turns out to be critically acclaimed and beloved, and all of Yea Forums's meaningless, autistic predictions amount to nothing. I presume everyone here will just shove the whole ordeal under the rug as per usual, and never talk about it again. In 5 years time, everybody will be talking about how amazing it was, and how Kojima did it again. One person might post screencaps from this period saying "look, Yea Forums thought this game was going to be shit", and everybody will just adamantly deny it and tell him to fuck off.
No dude, it's popular, so Yea Forums will do nothing but insist the game is horrible forever, no matter how critically and publicly acclaimed it is.
ah yes, the infamous Yea Forums character
I'm screenshoting your post. No matter is the final result, I like it.
I was completely turned off the idea until today where I spent hours wandering around in the SotC remake picking up the coins for the secret they added. I really enjoyed it and it made me reconsider what I felt about death stranding, assuming the game really is just about getting from A to B. I'm not fully turned around on it but I'm definitely more open. I think I need to see more, and to be hooked by the game's/world's atmosphere because right now I'm not.
No, I'm not going to play it because it's console trash.
Don't worry, mustard race. Maybe your Sony overlords will be benevolent and allow you to play it through the PS Now™ streaming service.
yeah he posted a pic of mr.Yea Forums himself
why is "walking sim" used as an insult here?
yume nikki is a walking sim and its one of the best game i've played (experienced)
kenshi has a lot of walking but I love it anyway
I'm interested in it. I've actually been thinking of that concept myself too. Usually when you're running around in an open world, nothing is holding you back. You have infinite stamina, different environments don't really make any different etc., it doesn't matter if you're running in the woods or in a swamp or a snowy mountain or wherever, and you can just keep running past enemies too. I'm curious to see how this game deals with that
I'm sure just walking from A to B can be interesting if there are various factors to take into account. Realistically if you were trekking in the countryside, you'd have a much harder time cutting through a potato field or a thick forest rather than sticking to the road. And if you also need to plan your route based on where you're seeing enemies, it adds another element. I keep thinking of Elder Scrolls games and Witcher 3 here. You just run in a straight line and there is no reason to stop and fight drowners. But if you couldn't outrun them, you'd always be scanning the distance for them and try to go around them (assuming it's also tough to fight the enemies)
Most games with legged characters do somewhat revolve around them walking somewhere. I don't mind so long as the other components of the game all come together in a way that makes it enjoyable and rewarding in some way.
