Better than faggot 3ds. Who's with me?
Psp was ahead of it's time
no words
my EYESSSSSSSS
More like ahead of its games lmoa
Why do you want to know who is with you? Can't hold your own opinion?
psp had cod so get rekt
PSP has the best library of all handhelds.
top 2 handheld of all time and it's not 2
bruh
Yeah I love PSP, they were great. My favourite game was naruto ultimate ninja heroes 3, that shit was fire. I also enjoyed PES13
tiger woods and dissida were so fun, cant believe i sold mine
It was ok, but a great homebrew system.
>tfw just got a vita to homebrew
>ahead of its time
This just means it was poorly designed. Handhelds sell when they're cheap and have accessible games tailored for a handheld experience.
PSP's hardware worked against it, making games too expensive to develop, so most of what it got were ports and Japan-onry VNs. Same goes for the Vita, I have no idea why Sony just made a second worse PSP without learning anything from the PSP's failure. People didn't want a gimped console-like experience. Games like Uncharted lose their sense of scale and spectacle on that tiny-ass screen, which is arguably the only reason those games get made in the first place, setpiece spectacle tours for people to gawk at while they hold the stick forward.
>b-b-but it sold 80 million units!
Yeah, and Sony made no money on those hardware sales, while software sold like complete ass since it was both not attractive to develop for and piracy was rampant.
lolno, its good for playing old games not made by Sony, that's about it. Its own library sucks.
Yeah right. Every single PSP game was fucking generic stupid shit. The only thing its good for is emulating ps1 and previous handheld games. 3ds had 3d land, kid Icarus, smash 3ds, majoras mask and ocarina 3D, Pokemon XY, and backwards compatibility with lots of Dsi games. So no, PSP wasn't better, but its pretty good now.
>Sony releases a handheld with a single stick hindering 3D games
>Nintendo releases a handheld with a single stick like 6 years later
what's wrong with those people? 2 sticks are a necessity in a 3D enviroment, we all know this since the Dreamcast
This.
>only 1 analog pad
>it's on the left
Why was this even allowed?
DS did too and the touchscreen made the gun aiming felt better.
unplayable if you are left handed, i struggled very hard with modern warfare mobilized. CoD on psp was kinda shit, but medal of honor heros 1 and 2 were the best portable fps games
Best handheld is PSP Go (or 3000 if you have gorilla hands) and GBA SP AGS 101
they at least added the little motion gumball on the *new* 3ds
made some games better, but it was a little too late at that point though
>left handed
No shit leftyfag.
final fantasy tactics is enough to make this better than the 3ds, 2 screens is always awkward as fuck
>tfw have a homebrewed oled vita with an sd2vita and, have a modded switch running android.
Seriously though, the vita is one of the best console for pure handheld emulation and, the switch is incredible for being able to emulate up to the dreamcast and gamecube.
Although the battery is lacking on the switch, it's still amazing because I can dock it and play on the tv.
I just ordered one from amazon, hope it’s good condition
>2011 hardware
>A+ 1st party game
PSP had some good games, like ace combat X
nigger it's attachment rate was fine and it has plenty of good games
does the switch emulate gc games better than pc?
Man I have such a nostalgic feeling when it comes to my psp. Moding it to play Doom on the train was great.
>Does a dated mobile graphics chip on a handheld console emulate better than a pc
Is this seriously a question you're asking right now? No it doesn't not even in the slightest.
not even close
PSP is just proof that handhelds are stupid. Why play a 3d or even 2d game on inferior hardware?
Doom on the PSP kinda sucks though
Yeah but it was a fun way to pass the time.
Most homebrew ports of it did.
The only decent ports on consoles I found was one for the original xbox, and one for the switch because it has gzdoom.
It had a better virtual console than the switch. It even got GBA games before the switch did!
PSP had some way underrated exclusives, Patapon, all the Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman games, Work Time Fun, Loco Roco. One of the last systems that games needed to have "Soul" on.
Dissidia duodecim is god tier to me, NT is fucking garbage. Is the 3rd birthday any good?
>Is the 3rd birthday any good?
7/10
Best handheld ever
Also PSP Go was underrated
Fight me
I’m gonna like at gameplay for it, for I decide see how the systems look, and the look of the interface. If it’s something worth playing I’d want to play it before it keeps going up in price.
stop with this retarded platformwars garbage: your masters don't love you
based Mega Man poster
all handhelds are cringe except GBC
When the Game Boy was first released, its competitors were more advanced (Lynx, Game Gear, etc.), but like PSP they didn't have games that really sold the system and had way shorter battery life.
I'm more of a ds lite kind of guy
You know how I know you’re underage and poor?
3ds didnt compete with the psp. The psp was dead before the 3ds was even announced.
Peace Walker arguably kept it alive for a little longer.
