You cant. Any server you play has a 95% chance of the teams being made up of potted plants that were set in front of a keyboard. And the only ones that play the awful in game competitive mode are so devoted to the game that they just run a train of you.

I played 2fort with a bunch of zoomers yesterday they refused to play offense and sat in the base all game till I scored the intel single handedly twice

It all depends OP. Do you know all the maps? If so, you're probably going to find the casual maps occasionally lackluster.
I've been playing since 09. Just recently got back into it like you. I'm finding payload games are usually one sided.
As far as community servers, I don't have a fucking clue. The last one I was on was a furry server where the players just whined about their social anxieties.
