It doesn't need a remake. FE6 is perfectly playable. The only thing that could maybe use a change are Knights and Roy getting access to a promotional class earlier. Nothing else needs to change, not even Sophia.

What would the point be? There isn't much that could be improved other than maybe an earlier promotion or higher level cap for Roy. It would be spectacularly ugly in comparison, as there's no way they'd go back to the beautiful sprite animations for a remake.

roy was a mid protag desu. not a good unit, hardly ambitious as a protagonist, if not for elphin most of act 2 would just be roy doing etruias busy work until the coup takes place and then even after that he doesnt make many protag decisions besides chasing a bunch of corrupt nobles which is only really there to show roy the corruption of humanity before facing zephiel. even act 1 he didnt do much besides head towards ostia, all i remember him doing is killing bandits in chapter 5 for the church and noticing erics trap in chapter 4.
