Granblue Versus

This is honestly the worst roster I've ever seen. It's not even the small size. I mean, yeah, only 11 characters sucks. But the actual choices are abysmal and completely fail to represent the variety of characters in the franchise. There is no reason we needed to have two homoknights. You can argue the same for having two society members, but at least Zeta and Vas are more unique from each other than knight 1 and knight 2. Also not having a gun or katana user is fucking nuts.

Character interaction. There's significantly less fun in the personalities of the dragon knights when there isn't at least two of them interacting with each other. Which is why there is also two society members

I played all 3 sessions of the closed beta and had a blast using Char. I disliked most of the picks, but I still felt positive there would be more surprises than just the weapons on the logo. Then, fkhr announced there would only be 11 chars on launch with two line-ups of dlc already planned. Fuck right off.

That is some real flimsy justification. There are other characters in the game for them to interact with. Most of which are characters they've never interacted with before and would be good to provide them some new chemistry. Or are you saying homoknights are such shit characters they can't interact with anyone outside their little bubble?

The base roster is fucking terrible and they already announced there will be RETARDED amounts of DLC. Probably with the characters people actually want.

Not really, people like the idea of the dragon knights and are called the homoknights because of their relationship. Lance and Vane, Percy and Lance, Seig and Lance or Percy. There will always be characters for them to interact with outside of their event duos for new chemistry, RPG mode trailer already showed there will be a part of the story with Lancelot and Charlotta teaming up, but they are just cooler in duos.They have a fun back and forth in battles and will help with the story mode.

Fuck i'm at the point where i'd rather have sandal phones as a fujobait character than the damn homoknights since he actually has some interesting lore. This roster really is shit. Granblue in general sat on it's laurels for too long and makes sense why FGO kinda overtook it in the long run.

This game is going to have a different playerbase than GG and BB, at least casually. Of course people dip their toes in a bunch of shit but its mainly to get granblue and anime fans into a fighting game with the idea of making it easy to watch with esports in mind.

Also I hate a lot of people thinking the developer means FGC when he mentioned esports when its not the same equivalency, especially when listening to his reasoning. He describes the thing FGC tards hate yet people seem to think Granblue was going to be marketed towards them. But that's neither here nor there for the most part

Guilty Gear won't be made in the same vein that BBtag and Granblue are made, that announcement from Daisuke proved otherwise. Its just going to be a complete overhaul and reboot

DBFZ and BBTAG have a different audience. DBFZ is them doing another company a favor just like Granblue and Persona. Its a way to introduce that series' fanbase to fighters. BBTAG is a crossover fighting game that's meant to be a fanservice game since mainline Blazblue is already finished and has reached the peak of its mechanical depth. You'd know this if you actually played ArcSys titles

Guilty Gear 2020 killed any hype for this game on top of the ELEVEN character launch. The roster choices are poor as fuck too

I noticed this game has no backwards specials and a block button. The story mode is also a beat em up type mode. They should add a vs mode like Guardian Heroes.

Xrd is already an easier to get into version of AC+R which is a mechanical bloated pile of mess. Only a vocal minority are upset about it, and even then those guys never graduated mid level play of GG. As long as the new Guilty Gear offers the same type of transition as AC+R to Xrd then its fine.
