Smash sure had M Rated protagonists but none of them have Gore/Brutality as deep in their aesthetic as Doom does. Doomguy can probably still be done justice, I'd like to believe.
Tales Of's another big series that's been there for a while. The question is the character chosen: Would probably go for Lloyd. SNK's been in the console market & their games are an iconic part of the Arcade Market as well. The question just lies in whether Metal Slug or King of Fighters should be represented first ( I'm calling Terry a KOF rep for convenience sake, since it absorbed Fatal Fury/Art of Fighting ). I'd go for a KOF rep because the franchise's been alive & kicking for a while, although never made a big impact on the West.
As much as I dislike Minecraft it's probably earned its spot in Smash one way or another.
Conker's Bad Fur Day never released in Japan. I think the Rare reps as fine as is. I like Conker & his game but I don't think he's big enough or requested enough. Would be a good Spirit though

Not mentioned yet I believe & reasonably iconic would probably be Nightmare from SoulCalibur, and/or a Tekken character. Both leaders of 3D fighters should get something, at least an assist like Akira.

Minecraft, despite its unpopularity here, absolutely should be in. It is literally the best-selling game of all time and is incredibly influential.
Tetris doesn't have enough love; two songs don't cut it. It should at least have a stage.
DOOM, while very unpopular in Japan, should be in a crossover celebrating all sorts of games. The FPS genre is huge in the West and I'd say DOOM would be the best for representation, although some Valve games have also earned their place.
Ninja Gaiden was notorious on the NES for its nailbiting difficulty and it's housed alongside with Mega Man and Castlevania in the NES parthenon. Ryu, at least in his classic variation, should be in. I could also argue the same for Contra.
Both Ace Attorney and Professor Layton are huge and influential puzzle/visual novel franchises that had their start on Nintendo's handhelds and are pretty recognizable.
Despite not being much affiliated with Sony anymore, Crash was seen as the Playstation's "mascot" for a time and served as competition to the likes of Mario and Sonic.
Space Invaders, alike Pac-Man is a classic arcade game that should get a shout-out.
Indie games have been a pretty big part of the market nowadays, though I'd prefer a more "OG" indie to get into Smash. The Touhou franchise, while much more popular in Japan, is notable for its independent roots and fan creations. I'd also argue Cave Story is a highly influential indie title that is worthy for Smash.
Survival horror is a genre that could use some more love in Smash. Resident Evil fits it best.

The plot requires that Chrom be married and have a child at a certain point because of Lucina. If he isn't hitched by that point he'll auto marry whoever he's got the highest affection with, which includes you if you're female. Plenty of careless FRobins find themselves getting forced into making Lucina with him without them getting a say in the matter.

Amusingly, it can go the other way too if you're male and he can steal your waifu before you cap it off all the way if you're not careful.

So if you took the disk out and spun a random cd or DVD you'd get a new monster... Some special disks... A Harry Potter dvd for example gave you a unique monster.
