“Why don't people like out totally nonpolitically charged game? Its only about killing nazis, goy.
You have a mental illness
You clearly didn't play TNC.
>Call everybody who disagrees with you "Nazis"
>Keep saying how much you "love killing Nazis"
>People start feeling like the real Nazis are just mock targets of themselves, despite a complete lack of political parallels
>Why are people so against us killing Nazis all of a sudden?!
You create what you hate.
more boring than "problematic" - narrative's been done to death and more people are realising that Axis soldiers weren't evil robots programmed for world domination
Nobody cares about fighting Nazis.
People care about fighting and declaring death to "Nazis" who are just thinly veiled modern political groups.
Wolfenstein 2 is utterly obnoxious from the opening cutscene. Fighting Nazis was never an issue until they made it one
I still maintain that Wolfenstein could have been fine if they had just kept it like RTCW and 09 with wacky nazis raising the dead, instead of being about *killing nazis* where it comes off as some psychotic soiboi murder fantasy instead of fucking Indiana Jones like it should be
Have Nazis ever been potrayed in a positive light in anything ever? The only example I can think of is Stroheim from Battle Tendency
Nobody minded TNO.
TNO and TOB were good but it opened the door to TNC.
Closest you usually get is very clear visual analogues, like the Helghast and AoT.

Well yeah, but only because of the staff not the execution.
TNO should have been the end. Now they fucked up the series beyond all recognition
I thought the reason why people don't like their games is because they have long cinematics and the protagonists are lame.
I remember the POW camp commander in Hart's War being morally gray. He killed POWs when he deemed necessary, but otherwise was civil, noble and a sort of open minded for a nazi commander in fiction.
Nah. People don't like it because it went from simple but fun to middling and trying too hard.
I wonder (((why)))
I wonder why...
I'm honestly surprised how popular JoJo bacame with tumblr types despite one of the major characters being a cool Nazi terminator
He's literally too cool to hate.
He steals the show.
